Big Lots is a great “last ditch” resource for me. Because the bargains are fleeting, I only stop in when I’m desperately looking for something. This time I was looking for multifunctional Christmas lights, and they had 4 boxes! I was very happy to have found them!!! Our Lee’s Summit, MO store is generally clean and orderly and fairly well stocked. No complaints here.

A nice location with pleasant and helpful staff. There was an issue in the women's bathroom while I was there. Apparently a large mess was left. The managers (courtney and megan?) were prompt in addressing and resolving the issue. Going above and beyond to bring us a clean and sanitary shopping experience. Thanks guys and sorry you had to deal with that.

I love big lots! I always find good deals beyond what I walked in the door for. They also have a good variety of pet supplies that let me have an option! I don't feel locked in to having to make a choice between one or two brands of anything.

I would like thank Sierra from the furniture department. My grandmother had been looking for a TV stand for months and we found two that she like there. Sierra went to the back and couldn’t find either of them so she offered to let us buy the display. We happily accepted! A week later Sierra called to see how everything was going. I can’t remember buying furniture and getting a follow up call. Thanks again Sierra!

We have been very impressed with the management of this store. We purchased a couch from them a week ago and there were some problems with it. The manager came to our home and attempted to fix the issue and when he couldn’t, he arranged for it to be replaced and the new couch to be delivered to our home. It was just all around exceptional service and we will make a point to continue to loyally shop at this store.

You never know what you will find here. There are great buys to be had, but you need to be price conscious about what it might cost you elsewhere. Most times, they will be much lower, but at other times merely competitive.

I generally like going to Big lots every now and again to look for bargains. The store was a mess. As soon as you walked in the front door there were things blocking the isle way. I was really surprised. The customer service was great. Everyone said hello and asked if there was anything that they could assist me with. Upon leaving the store I received the same great customer service.

I've shopped twice recently at the Martin City Big Lots and both times, I was delighted with my purchases and the staff. Most recently, I needed some leprechauns for a library display and Robert kindly directed me to exactly where I could find them. The cashier, Angelina, was very polite and helpful; she told me about the awesome rewards program for frequent shoppers. I'm glad they're within 10 minutes of home so I can shop for more great purchases!

This is usually my go to store! But today, I left disappointed. Not only are the prices now higher then what I can order online, but when asked if wanted bags with my purchase, was advised they were $0.05 each. Sad deal to have to pay for a bag to hold all off my purchases. If you want to be like Aldi, check your pricing.

They still have remarkably good prices and a good selection. The reason I'm not giving it a five stars is because they expect you to pay for the plastic bags to take your stuff out so you got to carry it all out in your arms or you got to pay for the bags bags that are not reasonable and you just throw them away I thought that was rather ridiculous so I'm giving it a lower rating

I think it's strange the lights are on when the store is closed. I know this location has been running on a skeleton crew for some time. Once I had to call the phone to get the one employee to come to the cash register. Seems like big lots is having a tough time.

Lots and lots of items. Some on clearance weekly that are good name brand items. The only issue I found here was some spots was hard to get the buggy through. Felt like in school to file a single line to walk the back wall. Carry heavy item from wall to buggy. The clerk had a great smile, greeted us as walked up and greeted us as we walked out.

Great location! Well stocked and staffed and polite employees. Some inventory appears to be spread out into multiple areas of the store, but likely just temporarily to set for a new season. For the FIRST TIME in 20 plus years of shopping in BigLots locations an employee actually APPROACHED ME and asked if I was finding everything ok!! also a very nice part of town, safe and secure. Its nice to shop in KC MO without needing armed security guards at the store.

The staff there at Big Lots were busy stockings the shelves for the busy Fathers Day weekend. But they were not to busy for the customers. Anything we asked them about they knew exactly what and where it was. They ALL are top of the line employees. Keep it up!!

This place has become my newest go-to for all sorts of things! Have found great items for the home and fabulous prices. And I LOVE this location is so well organized and CLEAN! No boxes in the aisles and messes anywhere! Keep up the great work on a great place to shop!

I didn’t love this big lots. The prices weren’t spectacular compared to the same items at Walmart or other stores. I shopped at the one off of 75th street when I was younger and always found great deals on fun items. This store just felt partially empty. They had a lot of furniture and interesting assorted items. Worth checking out if your killing some time.

Tried online ordering for in store puck up. It was so fast and easy I will probably use this service in the future. I bought curtains, and a curtain rod both are great quality for a budget price! Thank you big lots.

This is a great place to find necessities for crazy prices!! They also have a good selection of seasonal items for unbelieveable prices!! Big Lots is one of my weekly stops, you never know what they'll be selling at a fraction of other retailers!

This is a large Big Lots and it usually has a lot more stuff in it. It could be because of the pandemic or it could be other reasons but they didn't have a very huge selection on a few things that I was looking for and that's why they only get four stars. The staff is very helpful and friendly
