Please don't buy puppies from this place. Look at how sad those puppy mill pups are. Look for puppies that are not stressed, that are happy puppies. Happy puppies almost always have their mouth open. Their face is interacting , not a sad blank stare. Don't buy a puppy on an urge plan carefully. Meet the parents. I got a puppy here and it has had health problems it's whole life. These puppies moms love in little crates their whole life. Here is a photo of a happy puppy that I did not get here. And a sad puppy listed for sale at Pertland. Compare the difference in the puppies in their photos. Stop the abuse. Be a responsible and informed consumer

The staff is very friendly, helpful and very patient. They are very knowledgeable about all the pets that they adopt out. They are very cautious about who adopts any of the pets. They walk you through all the steps of adopting one of their pets.

I purchased a uvb light for my bearded dragon’s enclosure, after getting home I realized immediately it was too short, returned this $200 purchase only to be told no refund or exchange!! Just letting everyone knowUpdate: both store managers tried to contact me to make things right, just couldn’t make contact, not their fault. I ended up using the light anyway, all is well

Boy where do i start! How much money do you want to spend for a companion!?!? try to call for pricing they wont tell, they will however set you up with an appointment and when you get in the door hit you with a credit app. when reading fine print i saw something about interest being around 35%. I have seen frenchies around 2500 and 3k for very nice colors. they kept trying to reassure us that the dogs are well taken care of and show us online photos of happy puppies playing in fields saying no dogs come from mills. also will tell you about a healthcare plan for your dog. then when you get to meet the pet and hear the whole setup they finally hit you with the "10% discount price" of almost 9k dollars! then tell you to finance the dog. whats funny is i have a friend who works at a dog training center " will not name at this point" who says when they cannot get rid of them at that price they get sold for around 1 to 2k to them. so yeah, do not get scammed. go elsewhere.

Great job for the staff and feeding and taking care of the animals properly. Nice and clean place except sometimes the crickets get out but that's okay you know. :) over all great place to look for your new companion. They have birds, ferrets, dogs, snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs and frogs and bunnies I believe. There might be more animals those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head.

We went into the store today to adopt a new little member for the family! Unfortunately, the puppy that we had inquired about wasn’t going to be a good fit for my toddler. Instead of giving up, the lady that was helping me (who was super helpful/tentative) noticed the situation and started introducing me to other puppies that might be a good fit! Needless to say, she was correct and we found the perfect little puppy! Would definitely recommend!!

Yo, if I could leave a zero I would I had the worst experience the girl who was helping me I kept trying to tell her I didn’t want a dog but she wouldn’t stop harassing me to get this dog. Why would you sell a dog to somebody who blatantly doesn’t want one? We had to ask three times how much this dog cost after telling her I didn’t want the dog and she came back and told me the dog was $6000. Why on gods green earth would I buy a $6000 dog after I already told her oh, I am a college student. Who cannot afford a dog they also tried to run my credit, which I thought was crank.

I live around 35 minutes away from Petland. I called ahead of time to ask if they sold crickets because petsmart was sold out. The woman said yes they do. When I showed up the owner told me they were out, when I told her that I had just called the other woman that answered the phone said, “you didn’t ask if we had any, you asked if we sold them.”🙃(Something my 8 year old son would say)Sure, I didn’t ask exactly how many crickets you have but common sense would tell someone that they should probably mention that you didn’t have any at the moment.

Got my Cavapoo from Petland! Literally couldn’t have gotten a better dog. The only things I will say is 1, they only offer payment plans. The staff told us the 2 companies we would go through to make payments, but they didn’t tell us about the “early pay off” rate in order for us not to get charged interest. 2, the crates the animals are in can be very small. My cavapoo, at the time we got him, was 6 months old and he was in a crate with 3 other dogs his same breed. The dogs, especially mine being the oldest in the crate, had hardly no room to move. That same day we went in there, there was a 2 year old German shepherd in the same size crate!However, these are my only 2 negatives about Petland. The staff helped us out a ton when we got our cavapoo. My cavapoo came with all his shots, already registered at a vet clinic, a bag of dog food, and 2 bags of treats. Getting my dog from Petland was the best decision I ever made.

Nanni and I went there for her some toys, treats, and a new harness. The staff Everyone very friendly and helpful. Nanni and I loved the time we spent in the store. We will be coming back to visit along with getting things to play, care, and feed.

They wanted 7 THOUSAND for a puppy that was evidently not well maintained. The kid that was trying to sell the puppy to me basically locked me in the cubicle with the dog attempting to guilt trip me into buying the dog. I wouldn’t suggest this place to my worst enemy.

Guys dont fall for this places scams. We stopped in today having never been to one. They had a couple Rottie puppies inside. I asked "how much?" The lady said "they start at $2,900 and go up to $6,000."You can buy world renown, champion bloodlines for less than $6000. We've been around these dogs for 35 years, and you're typically going to pay $1,500 to $2,500 for an AKC registered Rottie.$6,000 is absurd! I guess as long as they sucker people into it, then so be it.

They don't sell fish and the dogs are $4500+. The dachshund was $6k... that's an outrageous price for a dog. The other reviews are accurate. This is a shameful puppy mill where the dogs are cramped in cages and passed around to eager people who have to just put them back. While I watched, a child picked a dog and the mother was given the price. She laughed and said are you serious? Heartbreaking for both the child and the dog. Why don't they list their prices where everyone can see them?

We are considering a puppy and reached out to Petland Joplin. This location had both breeds available and the color selection we are interested in. Called the store today and verified those puppies were available and sat the appointment with Miranda for 6 pm. to play with a few puppies.We arrived at 6 p.m. the puppies were available and we played with them. Miranda and all of the sales people were extremely helpful. The puppies were clean, healthy and happy.Yes, the puppies seem a little pricey but the warranty, and other package deal that comes with the puppies are actually a great value.We didn’t take a puppy home this evening. But are hopeful to make a decision and return soon.We recommend Petland to anyone looking for a new pet.

If you can go to another pet store go to another store. Waited for crickets found 4 employees standing together talking I asked politely if I could get help with crickets Jermey say well we have 2 cats to get adopted it’s going to be a while. I said could you please tell me how long a while is. His reply was when someone can get over there we’re busy. I said okay he looks me dead in my eyes and says if you don’t like it then leave! Just crazy! Then we finally get crickets there is two long lines he looks at me and says I have to help her so you need to go in the other line! Excuse me Jermey is a horrible says person and very rude!! Go to petland they are very friendly and nice

Petland in Joplin,Mo was absolutely wonderful. Brett helped me by finding me a female Maltese puppy within just hours and I brought her home just 2 days later and the workers at Petland were all so kind and wonderful. We felt very comfortable with all of them and my Maltese is absolutely beautiful and a joy to have.

Clean store, cute pups.My dog chews through anything you give her within five minutes, but Petland sells real water buffalo horns that keep her occupied for up to a month. She loves them!

They have a better selection of shampoos and flea treatments for dogs than PetSmart, but they are overpriced. I waited at the counter for quite awhile, waiting for the group of people who worked there to ring me up at the register. Their products are not marked properly with prices, and I had no choice but to take the product to the front. When I finally got someone to saunter over, he began to ring up someone else's item that had been left on the counter. As there were no other customers, I can't help but wonder if they were left there by a customer not willing to wait as long as I had. After making it clear I just needed my one item, he answered the phone that had been ringing beside him. No one else in the store could do that job either, apparently... though they were fully staffed. He goes on to have a full conversation while on the phone, and about a minute or so in to his conversation he decides to swipe my product for the register. Finally. He continues his call, says nothing, another minute goes by. He taps the register to show the price. It is DOUBLE the price that the product I needed is online. I didn't even bother to see if he had mistakenly scanned it twice, his apathy plus the audacity of a double charge was enough. I won't be back to this store, and they won't notice or care lol 🤷🏼‍♀️

Bought a Pomeranian puppy 16 weeks old from their other store in rogers.ar same owners 10/2021. Hes a beautiful bicolored Pomeranian. He is healthy, very loving and not a barker. He came well trained and well worth what I spent. He is registered to a kennel that has won awards not a puppy mill. I love him bunches and got him neutered other than that he was microchipped and didn’t need any other vet visits cause he was up to date on all his shots. Yes they are expensive but for the price you get to choose from a bunch of different breeds yo see which one is right for your family. Where else can you go and interact with lots of different breeds and puppies at the same time to pick the best one for your lifestyle. I definitely don’t regret getting my forever fur baby.

I was just in there today to look at dog leashes for my dog at home and the guy came up to me as soon as I got to the door blonde mullet and was following me around after a little period of time we where looking at the puppies in the kennels my wife looks at the puppies and said that's cute he comes up to us and says u want to play with him so we did and after that he kept pushing and pushing us to get a dog and even manipulated us into filing a so called payment optionsheet out on my phone and I told him I ain't got really good credit and he says that's fine and he keeps pushing me to buy it so I tell him no and walkout and experian notifys me when I get home that my credit was run by them and 8 points it took from my credit score and apparently will stay on there for 25 months.

Don’t buy a hamster from this place. They leave infected hamsters with all the others on a pen so you’re more than likely to lose it to wet tail. We bought one a week ago and she has wet tail we brought her back to the store today and nobody had a clue what wet tail was(YOU WORK AT A PET STORE) or what to do for the hamster and shrugged us off. Don’t recommend
