Daniel and Melissa in kitchens and closets helped us numerous times to make our master closet from a bedroom a dream come true. They both executed ideas and input and made this 10x11 once bedroom now a walk in master bedroom closet. I highly recommend working with either one of them. They are both excellent to work with. We added more drawers and covered doors also.

The worst and longest wait in my life, most unprofessional interaction!This guy "inspected" the truck and "showed us" all the damage, he missed two scratches!!! I had to point it out to him otherwise he would blame it on us!!When I asked when it's taking 30 minutes to rent a truck with presented, CC, DR and insurance, he said "there is lots of information to fill out for me and in fact I can do it even longer!" - "I am sure you could" was my reply! I work in customer service and happy to say that's why we are doing so well!! Other business doing so poor! If you can't take care of your customers. Apparently they're very poorly trained - sign of incompetent management!He hide his name but I got Employee badge number - 2327245

As much money as ive spent at Menards the past 2 years and the kitchen sink i buy is cracked on 3 corners! They knock off 50 bucks then i pay off a 3400.balance and im charged interest! Ill do my business at Home Depot and Lowes from this point on!

There customer service was terrible!!!!!!! The manager was very rude because one of my items I bought was mistaken on the price. Literally spent 30 minutes to get my money back because it was twice the price. I will be going to lowes from now on

I ordered custom trusses from Menards in Hollister Missouri. They delivered 6 out of 9 trusses I ordered and thought the order was complete. I had to go back and insist I get the 3 remaining trusses. I finally got all the trusses and started to install them, the wood used for the 2x10 on the bottom was extremely dry and split in many areas on most the trusses as well as mold and mildew and rot on most the trusses. I contacted corporate office Midwest Manufacturing and received an offer of $1500 in store credit. I had to spend many hours patching and cleaning and stabbing wood onto the trusses to repair the bad spots. They wanted me to void my warranty in exchange for the credit. I am not ok with this. After trying numerous times to get the credit without voiding my warranty or getting a larger credit. I get no where. I keep getting the run around. No service no help just the same.

1/12/24 I went into Menards today to pick some dog food. Their steel racks in the pet department were about 25% empty. Needless to say I left without any dog food. I had to go elsewhere. I have never seen Menards that out of stock before. What's going on?

It’s January 31st, 2024. Menards is the rudest place in Branson Missouri, Hollister Missouri. If you ask questions, they don’t care. They answer like you just pulled out their eyelashes. Rude. Rude. Rude.The only people in there that are nice are the ones working for pay & commission.John the checker needs to adjust his look on life. Is complete rude and is doing you a favor checking you out. It’s a shame these towns are hard up for good help.

Inventory nightmare! No accountability. Zero customer service. Drove over an hour to buy rebar to finish our project. Paid in full. Customer in front us took all rebar he paid for plus 19 extra he did not pay for. That happened to be the amount we bought. What was menards staff response. Manager literally stood and shrugged. What is our time worth? Obviously nothing to these guys.

I was at this store yesterday. I was looking for zip ties. I walked past 8 different male employees chatting with each ither in the hardware aisles and despite the fact that I was looking up and down the same aisles not ONE of them asked if I needed help. It took a very nice lady to stop and ask if I needed help and then walked with me to the location. I didn't get her name but it was I think Brenda? She had gray blonde hair. You need her to teach your employees customer service skills. She gets five stars.

We went in to look at lawn mower parts! A nice and very helpful man named Tim helped my husband look them up online on his computer! He got everything he needed and Tim was very sweet and professional about helping my husband! The workers at this store were very pleasant! Good job! Thx Tim!

Stopped by on our way home from vacation in Branson and needed an electric cart since I'm recovering from a knee replacement surgery. Turns out they only have 2. Had a guy waiting ahead of me who eventually left and 2 more men came hobbling in asking if I was waiting for an electric cart. They both hobbled into the store saying it was ridiculous to only have 2 electric carts and I agreed. Looks like handicap people aren't a priority.

We love Menards. A great selection, their house brands are good, they have big building materials outside so you can easily pull truck up and get 10 sheet of plywood for example. They did lose their minds with COVID related store policies but I am trying to forget that season.

Went to the one in Hollister Missouri. Needed several things. A young man by the name of Dakota Clark helped us find everything we needed. Very friendly and happy to help. A lot of places need someone like Dakota. The things we bought worked perfect. Will definitely go back.

Out of our many bad experiences at this location, having propane bottles filled is the most concerning. They consistently overfill bottles which is a major safety concern as well as damaging to the cylinders. Today one of the cylinders was so overfilled that the release valve popped open on my way home. In the back of my suv. Releasing propane into the cabin of my car. When brought to the stores attention they didn't care at all and said because it didn't happen there at the store then it wasn't their concern.Just be aware that this is an unsafe location to get propane filled because if an accident happens due to their lack of training and negligence, they will not take responsibility.

We were first time customers and because of David's exceptional customer service we will definitely be back!

I went to this Menards today and I was extremely uncomfortable the whole time my friend, my husband and I went to find curtains and blinds and we asked a man there for help. I continued shopping for a ring doorbell security system and some phone accessories for my children and they guy we had asked for help kept following me around like I was doing something wrong and had another employee following me also they both were pretty much smothering me like I was stealing or something and made me so uncomfortable I left my cart right where it was at and left they were almost aggressive about it. I will never go to that Menards again and I would never suggest it to anyone else. I understand that theft is a big thing in this area but to be aggressive about it to someone who just bought a house and is a paying customer is very unprofessional.

I had never been in a Menards before but when I walked in I had to stop! This has to be , by far , the cleanest store I have ever been in. Bar none!! You could eat off the floors and the lumber and molding section was immaculate and orderly. They have a grocery and home section and I can imagine how clean it is. Bye bye HD and L$&es

I am 76 years old and have to walk to the very back of the store to tell them what wood i want then back to the front to pay...why can't they set it up where a tired old man does not have to walk for 20 minutes to buy a 12.00 peace of plywood for 36.00.?

This place has gone downhill. Management is unfair and wrongly accuses employees. This might explain their large understaffing problem. Employees are forced to work out of position which creates stress on the employees and the customers. I suggest supporting another business.

I am building a tiny home and try to split my money up between Home Depot, lowes, and Menards. Menards is great at little things and sometimes good sale ads. It can be overwhelming because one aisle is food, then clothes, then cement. However, when you find an employee they don’t just say “over there. “ They take me to the item and are always friendly. The guys in the gate and back lumber to pick up rocks and big items are always so kind even though they are out in the hot heat all day long. My only complaint is when I can’t find an employee I have to leave empty handed because I can’t find what I’m looking for.
