Historically one of my favorite stops of all in Hermann. All of the wine related items in the gift shop, the meat and cheese bar, the historical cellar. The atmosphere in the sampling building is just perfect around the Christmas season. Our group of nine really enjoyed the time here and wished we had more.

The wine was ok. They have a nice wine tasting setup. The brats were very good. As always, everything feels like about 5 bucks more than it needs to be.We love the ambiance. Hermann is a beautiful place, and we love visiting. This place is a great location to do some sightseeing. Also, great band. Didn't catch the name, but they will be back 4.29.23.

This was our 3rd stop on the wine trail we created for ourselves on a beautiful summer day and we couldn't have been happier! The aroma's, the scenery, the pics we posted below sell themselves! We had a great experience and plan on coming back next time around the Hermannhof bend and maybe this time we can take a wine trolly so I don't have to stay as sober.......we highly recommend this winery to anyone who wants a toast above the rest!!!

Lovely winery. We did a wine tasting and walked around their cellars on a self guided tour. They have nice cheese and summer sausage. Definitely worth a stop!

We always start our annual trip to Hermann at Hermannhof. During Oktoberfest, they always have live music and sell my favorite, pretzels and cheese, and my husband’s favorite, warm candied pecans.Even though it can get busy, there’s plenty of tables and chairs so you can find a seat even with a big group. We also like that they let you bring in your own coolers so you don’t have to buy your charcuterie.Hermannhof doesn’t usually have my favorite wine of all the wineries, but they have a new (to me at least) StagsWood Red that I loved! My husband enjoys the Germantown White. Always a good time here.

This place is Ah-mazing!! Our experience was beyond our imagination! From checkout (Thanks Kim!) to the view from our suite, ...the breakfast was delicious (Thanks Marilyn!), & Our last stop before checkout was the Tasting room, Kim was so fun & we are so thankful to have wrapped up our trip w/some wonderful wine & goodies from the shop. The patio music last night was exactly what our girls trip needed. Highly recommend!!

This place was your typical wine tasting experience. They were busy and the wine was okay. It's close to town so worth the stop. It sits in-between their 2 other sister wine tasting places. (One is California wine only, one is Missouri wine only, one is a blend of the two - all owned by the same people). 6 samples is $12. There were a lot of workers eating lunch in there and it was throwing off my taste buds.

Great wines, charming town, nice outdoor setup with live music. Potato pancakes were just ok - but lots of food choices too.

The wine tastings are great or if you need a break from wine they also have a Deli with many other options to eat/sip on while enjoying the cellars and amazing views outside on the porch.

Hermannhof always seems to have the most knowledgeable staff when we are don’t our tastings. It’s also one of the best prices for a tasting! One of the only wineries in town that you don’t need a shuttle for. So you might plan this place for the end and stay and enjoy their outdoor seating. Highly recommend checking out their award winning wine!! 🍷

Awesome outdoor space with a fun, lively vibe. Their wine was not great, some of the worst we tried on our Hermann trip. But we got a couple beers and listened to the live music on a beautiful day and had a great time.

We enjoyed the wine, the fireplace (it is 16 degrees here in December), and the sample of mulled wine. They have a nice variety of cheeses to pair with wine. I especially enjoyed venturing into the cellar. It was a unique chance to see and learn about the history of Hermann. The gift shop, however, is ridiculously over-priced.

One of my favorite wineries in Hermann! I've been here several times before and always had an amazing time, and this past weekend was no different. We did a tasting and found several wines that we really liked (didn't catch the name of the lady who helped with our tasting, but she was fantastic) and ended up buying two bottles to share on the patio. We also got some excellent merlot cheese and Hawaiian sausage, as recommended by the fabulous Juanita at the deli counter. Always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and an all-around great place to relax and enjoy some delicious wine!

Great selection of wines. Nice self-guided tour of the cellar (its cold down there). Jalapeno salami and gouda cheese were awesome.

After a disappointing visit to a different winery, we came back through Hermann to give the town a second try; Hermannhof was on the list to try. My wife was ready to try something. When a tasting station came open she stepped up (after waiting 10 minutes) - oh, this party of six is ahead of you, you have to wait for the next station (they weren't even near the station).Really? You can't fit ONE more person in? Every other winery I've been to (that doesn't have an announced reservation system) you can walk right up, make some new friends. Maybe it's a local cultural thing: If so they can keep it.F-this. This was our second disappointment at a Hermann winery; we were ready to spend money on a tasting, foods, maybe bottles - out we went.Sorry, Hermann and Hermannhof. Not coming back.

Been here several times over the past few decades and this winery has a very nice comfortable feel to it. Wine tasting and brat eating is always good obviously but I'm a fan of old architecture and history and there's lots to learn history wise about the place. During Octoberfest it can be pretty crazy so I prefer any other time, but even during the fest you'll have a nice time.

Never a complaint about this place from me. The staff is always 100% amazing. They are always willing to talk about the grapes and wine making process. Any wine recommendation they have given me has been spot on and I've enjoyed. One of my top 3 here is White Lady of Starkenburg. But they have so many great wines and a lovely back area to enjoy your wine and charcuterie at.Juanita is always a joy! I've been several times and she's always helped with a smile and is very accommodating. My girlfriends and I had the Hawaiian sausage per her recommendation and WE LOVED IT! She's absolutely amazing.

Hermannhoff Winery has a large tasting room with a deli connected next door for enjoying a meal and a bottle (or two) of wine. There is a cellar under the tasting room you are free to explore that was cool.

Experience was just wonderful. We speed in for a wine tasting on a random afternoon Before October Fest. The town was gearingv up for the festivities. This winery was pretty and cute. It was cool to walk down stairs in the cellar and we were the only people around.

Did wine tasting & then bought cheese & bread basket to eat on patio. Very yummy sausage & cheese. Basket also had warm bread, apple & champagne Mustard that was very good. My husband tried some brunswiger he really liked. We found some delicious wine too. The patio has a lot of seating & a very pretty outdoor spot. All the staff are very friendly.

Thank you for having sparkling grape juice for me to take home to the kiddos! Was a fun place to taste a few wines and get some to take back to the Mrs. The staff was very helpful and friendly! I will be returning next trip! Thank you again!

We have purchased the Norton wine in the past from this winery, several years ago we bought a case and had it shipped to Albuquerque. We haven’t had the chance to visit since our kids moved to Phoenix ten years ago so have missed the great Norton wine from Hermannhof. We were on our way to Cincinnati and made a side trip to Hermannhof to pick up Norton wine. We called in our travels from Oklahoma City to St Louis to make certain they were open, and had the wine, as it was out of our way. We let the woman in the tasting room know we ran into a lot of construction on our way out of OKC but were certain we could make it well before closing. She gave us a different route that took us on back roads saying it would be quicker. It was not. When we arrived it was at 4:45 PM and the doors were closed. We called and she let us in; told us the new Norton was a blend and very grudgingly gave me a small taste. I purchased six bottles based solely on my previous experience. Absolutely one of the worst wines I’ve ever had. I drank 1/2 of one bottle and couldn’t drink anymore. We’re so disappointed in this wine, the service and the winery I can never recommend them again. I have no idea what I’ll do with the other wines at about $26 per bottle! Had I had the opportunity to really try it I would have saved my money. It’s sad all the way around.

This winery was amazing! The woman who assisted my group was full of knowledge about their products and they provided chocolate and crackers to complement the different flavors of wine. She was so friendly. Really took time to explain each wine and very helpful! I can't wait to go back.

Very easy to love this spot. Like another world and the bonus is it’s right in an easy to walk location. Another great outdoor patio. Hermann is blessed with so many of them.

The woman who did our groups tasting was so friendly and so personable- she’s the main reason I rate them so highly. I also enjoy that they give crackers and dark chocolate during the tasting. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was that we walked down to the winery around 5:30 and were reminded three or four times within the 20 minutes we were there that they closed at 6. They could have all but pushed us out the door, aside from the girl that did our tasting.

A great self guided tour of the cellars, followed by one of the best Rueben sandwich I have ever had.Next wine tasting with the manager who was quite delightful. One of the few people we met who was not born there but moved to Hermann when she was 13.Having arrived as a teenager gave her an unique view of the history of Hermann, the grapes and the wine.My personal favorite Norton wine was at Hermannhoff. They had a blend of local and California grapes that was very good.
