Every once in a while a team of people in a business deserve the greatest of kudos and shout outs. In this case Koch-Stigge Veterinary Clinic. My dog, Hercules, an 80 lb. goldendoodle, just had another extraordinary experience at Koch-Stigge. I’ve had two dogs and two cats over the last 25 years and each time the experience is the same. Outstanding. Above and beyond expectations. From the front desk to every single person, the smiles and their heart for animals shines bright. They treat 1000 lb. horses and bulls to 5 lb puppies and kitties and treat them all the same.If there is such a thing as ‘Mayo Clinic care at country prices’, this is the place. If you’re in the Kansas City area and want to give your pet the best, and save money, call Koch-Stigge from now on.

Called to set up an appointment for routine vaccinations & to inquire about neutering our dog. From the scheduling phone call to the time we were paying for vaccinations & getting on the books for surgery, the staff was amazingly friendly! Our boy is a 3 year old Am. Bulldog x Am. Staff & we’ve had vets in the past side eye us or suggest sedation before even meeting him. We did NOT experience this with any of the staff here! They all loved on him & praised him. Plus, the cost is a fraction of other offices we’ve been to! Their quote for his neuter was literally 60% lower than our previous vet office. I cannot recommend them enough!

Nice, spacious facility, friendly staff & very reasonable pricing. Felt like we were spending an awful lot of money every time we went to our old vet & constantly getting notices that it was time *yet again* for us to bring them in for something. Called Koch-Stigge for quotes. Side by side comparison showed that K-S was literally HALF the price on everything! Switched that day! And found out that our dogs were previously being seen more often than necessary.

If I could share zero stars, I would! The way I was just treated about bringing my livestock guardian dog in to be neutered was hellacious, and I will never be calling them back again! They lost my business for good!!! Because I didn’t want to stress my livestock guardian dog, who doesn’t go in car rides like a normal “pet” treated me like he was some kind of vicious animal that they were worried about their staff and when I tried to tell them no I don’t want to stress my dog out continued to argue with me talk over me And be super condescending and I’m done with them!!!

A few weeks ago our Onyx crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She is still loved so much today. We miss her daily so much. She adopted us 16.5 years ago.The staff here was so amazing with Onyx and us and we are so great full for them and the care they gave us during this heartbreaking moment in all our lives.We will continue to entrust the Lives, Health and Well Being of our animals to them and their staff.

As ALWAYS our visit for our two dogs was great. They are definitely animal peeps. You can work on a Vet and not like animals, but not here. They take as good of care of our dogs Maggie (lab mix) & Thor (Chihuahua) as we do. Thanks for caring and loving ❤ our pets like y'all do each time we walk through the door.

They do great work and very reasonable prices! We take our cats and dogs here. They are not pushy and try to sell extra medicine or shots. They are very informative about what vacation is best for each animal and even give pain medicine for our sensitive ones when they need shots.

We have 2 new 4 legged animals that we added to our family in the last year and a half. This place was recommended to us by a friend and we have not been disappointed. They are always friendly and very prompt to answer their phone when we have called. Our 18 week old lab puppy named Gunner is hesitant to go in the door but once he is in he's just fine. Our 18 month old Australian Shepard mix named Daisy loves the place! They offer a wide variety of services for your pets big and small. We will be using Koch-Stigge as long as they are around.

I drove 120 miles to take Wednesday and pugsley... This is the best veterinarian place I've ever been to. And guess what they do livestock.. this place has boarding available. Reasonable priced on the boarding.. top notch..... I spayed and neutered microchipped blood test done physical four shots apiece all for the price of 520.

I brought my dog in to Koch-Stigge for a recurring problem. I didn’t feel as though my previous Vet was listening to me or explaining things, so we kept paying for the same things over and over, but the initial problem was not being addressed and I felt like my dog was suffering. One visit with Dr. Koch and I was so relieved. He took his time explaining everything to me, without rushing, and he also went over various treatment options in great detail. When I left, I felt secure in the many options offered to me and like I finally understood what was going on with my dog. I'll be bringing my dogs to see Dr. Koch from here on out.

I am so appreciative that places like Koch-Stigge exist. My dog had a bump on her stomach that I noticed had gotten bigger. I was in and out so fast but the care I felt we received was top notch.Dr. Koch is the most genuine and down to earth doctor. He came and sat with me in the lobby, explained what he did, explained that the results were benign and also educated me on the difference between ear inflammation and and infection in the ear as I had them check her ears as well.I will only use Koch-Stigge for our veterinary needs. I love the vet techs and the front desk staff as well. Super friendly, educated and sweet people! Can’t say enough good things about this place or the people there. ❤️

Subpar care at best. I've been in 4 or 5 times now. The doctors don't actually see people just a tech. This is a huge problem because each of the techs will give you a different story. No consistency.

My 15 yr old Basset mix was lethargic, not eating and starting to limp. Dr Koch found a large tumor and told me he was confident he could save him! He did!! My baby is acting like a puppy again, eating like a champ, running, jumping, barking at cats and playing with his toys! I thank God for sending us to this wonderful clinic....I cannot thank them enougb!

Been loyal to this vet for years and my animal has been in distress so I made an appointment and Michelle must have thought my animals suffering was funny because she literally laughed in my face when I suggested they treat him then she referred me to a different vet in Colorado that's about 12 hours away and for this they require in person visit... This is the equivalent of saying F you we don't care

We had a wonderful experience with our first visit to Koch-Stigge Veterinary Clinic. I can't say enough about Dr. Betsy Koch. Dozer, our Blue nosed brindle pitty received a thorough examination, a check of his microchip information, updates of his shots and heart worm medications.

My absolute favorite vet. They do book up very quickly. They are very polite, respectful, sweet, amazing communication, gentle. Just all out amazing. I've been taking my babies here for years, but fosters do go to another amazing vet as I dont have them for very long sometimes, but all fosters do get spayed and neutered here. Everyone here is so gentle with my babies. And they aren't scared of my pit mix like his first vet was. He has to have surgery for a torn ACL and I completely trust them with my boy, they are very patient with him. They are actually helping me with his fear of other dogs, and men. They don't make him leave if he barks or growls a bit, they know and understand he is scared and is being worked with. I don't care what anyone says negatively about these ladies and gentlemen, they are awesome and all my babies love them.

The vets and vet techs are incredible. They're always friendly and are so good to the animals. I was so surprised the first time I can here and the vet got down on the floor to get to know my dog and see what was going on with her. In addition to the fantastic atmosphere, their prices are fair. I live about 45 minutes away, but make the trip regularly for all pet needs.
