Nice staff. Delicious food. Personally did not try any alcohol but heard great things from others in my party. Also the view is lovely! We went at the perfect time because the weather was nice and there was a good breeze. There was also live music playing. I’d definitely go back to this place!

Just enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal at the Terrace celebrating with my special Valentine. The food was as good as you’d find at any fine dining restaurant in St. Louis - kudos to the chef! The service and atmosphere were both excellent. If you haven’t dined here yet, what are you waiting for? Be sure to check out the beautiful sunsets from their patio.

Lots of covered and open seating options. Great live music. The food is exceptional. Bathrooms clean and several located throughout the property. Some of the best wine in Missouri with a wide variety of options!

The Pinot Gris is awesome. I can say enough about the food!!! It is the perfect selection for a winery. My only suggestion would be a charcuterie board with pickled veggies local sausages and cheeses. Both their flatbread pizzas are awesome!!!

Pleasant surprise. Decent wine and AMAZING food and views. Came here after the week from hell . Was not disappointed for a small day trip getaway. The smoked chicken dip was above and beyond refined not overly fatty or dressed up.

Really nice place with great seating areas, both in the sun or under multiple covered pavilions. Wine is typical Missouri mediocre. Staff was friendly. You can bring your own food but no beverages. I get not letting people bring alcohol, obviously, but not water or soda? Silly. We had 3 bottles of wine and 3 beers at our table but a staff member made us pour out a QT cup of water. Foolish!!! Focus on the the big ticket item, booze. Their deposit on wine glasses is also odd. Factor glassware loss into your pricing. This place is never crowded according to folks at the next table which is good and bad. Would be a great wedding/reception venue. We didn’t have food.

What a wonderful place to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The owners are so nice and accommodating. Beautiful view of rolling hills. Highly recommended for any type of gathering.

I took my wife here for our anniversary. We went early evening maybe 2pm. It was fairly quiet but the Garrison was filling up with what seemed like a party. So we decided to go above the bar in the Farmhouse I believe? It was a good choice as we had it to ourselves! We ordered food and a bottle of white wine.The young man who brought our food said he was also the cook. He was very nice and we were impressed with everything we had to eat! We had the smoked pulled pork, fries, the pork chili, and the cornbread was amazing!We enjoyed our evening even though we saw a few snow flakes in the air.We both recommend the food and wine! Nice place, seems to be setup fairly well and plan on going back. Recommended!!

Be careful if booking for a wedding!We toured the terrace and loved it. We were working with the staff for over a month to sign a contract for a wedding ceremony. The contract stated arrangements could be made to move the public music. We asked if we could have the music moved. The staff was hesitant and asked us to come out and listen to the music to see if it would even be a problem.We agreed, although we live over an hour away and it was inconvenient for us. We came out and could clearly hear the music from the wedding ceremony area, despite their being high winds and the band being under a covered area.We then asked again if we could please have the music delayed 30 minutes on our wedding day so it would not interrupt the ceremony. The staff stated that they were unwilling to move the music, after making us come all the way out there and a month of working with them.

While travelling recently in the hills of Missouri, I stopped at the Terrace Winery in French Village. While enjoying an excellent wine and the best chicken salad I ever had I was treated to the most beautiful vista in Missouri. Something I didn’t expect was a young man in tucks on his way to his wedding, asking me if I could tie his tie. Before I left I viewed the beautiful outdoor chapel where weddings are hosted reglarily by a warm friendly staff. I plan to return.Leo Waynick, Aurora, Il.

Beautiful event venue with a stellar weekend restaurant. I highly recommend dropping in on the way to the lake on a Friday night, lazy Saturday afternoon or Sunday on the way home. We had tacos on Friday night with mixed drinks and cannot overstate how good the tacos were. A delightful space.

What a wonderful experience!!! Garrison was a pleasure to talk with. Grounds and atmosphere were wonderful. You have to go up on the deck to get the true feel of the place. Great music. Nice wine variety. We will definitely go back soon.

I had planned to have my bridal shower at this venue but due to our experience I would not recommend. We had booked my bridal shower for April 2nd and then received a call to inform us that they had double booked events. The venue was then very difficult to contact almost like they were avoiding our situation that they had double booked events.They informed us that the party of 100 that was also booked that day would be under the covered part but my bridal shower would be moved outside and if it rained we could be moved to the small patio. The woman working kept talking to me about the party of 100 people and shrugged my bridal shower off like it was not important and wasn't accommodating at all. I was very upset by this because a bridal shower is important to every bride!

Not a great visit today. The entire high school took over the winery taking pictures. Could not even walk to get a drink or to the bathroom because you were walking through a flock of 17yr old and their entire families taking pictures! Super annoying

It is a very unique place and the setting is beautiful! The one disappointment was that they don't have their own wines but they do serve wine and beer and have food to order. A great place to relax and hear a good band on the weekends!

So sorry even with covid, they the two girls should have been more attentive to each customer. The wine I ask for and was very specific to to the taste, was not enjoyable at all. And the price for the food we received was not reasonable. 58.00 for a bottle of wine that I did take a chance on, plus two cheif boyardy flat bread crust, can't even say pizza, would not want to shame Itily. Done at least the sun is out. Praise the Lord for his good news.
