Clean store that has what you need for groceries. I wish they had an actual meat counter but that's okay. Prices compared to some other places might seem a little high but good for sales and it being a one stop grocery stop.

This place is just gross. Never have things clean or stocked. Steaks were brown. Smells funky when you walk in. And not a good parliament funk either. After going to the kearney location for years this place just doesn't do it right.

I have been shopping here for about 2 years plus. I am so pleased in finding the hard to find items. The rotation of sales low prices delicious food in the deli and great staff always ready to help I am very satisfied with this clean fully stocked store with reasonable prices and wonderful staff. Huge grocery store that is even bigger inside than its large presence outside. We arrived too late in the afternoon to eat in the cafe. However, despite being nearer to closing time there were still a fair selection of deli items we could buy for an eat and go dinner. We visited May 2023.

The new carts suck, who wants to work all day and then fight a grocery cart once it's loaded down. Sales are good usually, but regular prices are too high compared to same product at Walmart. I've also had more than one experience with an associate acting like it's an inconvenience to do there job.

I spent $300 to have a cashier throw my groceries into the bags and bust up half my stuff because she was mad at the store. Cussing and ranting. When I reported her to the customer service desk they told me that's just the way she was and normally she stands by the door. If she's there next time I shop there I'm walking out. It is ridiculous that you like an employee treat your customers like that and the other employees have to accept it. I left a message for the manager to call me and never heard anything back

Customer service is rude and apparently thinks they are above the people! Screaming at customers is just tacky! Maybe just explain how a situation has changed in middle of your shopping trip , customer doesn’t know if you don’t do your job!! Being rude is not customer service nor is that how price chopper trained said employee I’m sure! However I decided to complain about said employee and was told how the store reserve rights to do certain things!! Ok that’s fine however the employee is completely out of line and has made many customers unhappy! I heard what you said no need to to scream and bully customers do your job and answer the customers questions! As associate stands with shirt untucked and sloppy! Respect yourself and your employer more !

Terrible!!!!!! Just because I have UnitedHealth Medicare, the lady at the desk did not want to except me from the second I walked in to the walk in Clinic! I was such an inconvenience for her! She was so RUDE! She told me to call and get a local doctor as my provider! Or else go to the Emergency room. So instead of having to drive on the other side of town and I already been to the ER twice last month. I decide to call my insurance and get a local provider. One off the paper she had on a list. So I called and got one and she gave me a reference #. I shouldn't of even of had to do that, but I did. So I walked back up to the lady at the desk and she hardly looked at the paper and started saying this isn't IT! I said that's the reference # to the new provider on the other side of a doctor I picked. She said rudely that's not a reference #. There should be a letter in front of it! And slapped the paper back down on the counter. Like I was taking up her precious time. I'm not feeling good and been coughing for 3 months but she did not want to hear what all I been through. So I said that figures! Because no one wants to help me! Gave her a dirty look said I'm DONE! and walked out. I never want to go there again!!! GOOD GOD! Somepeople are just so hateful in this world.

Delores is the MOST unhappy cashier I’ve ever experienced. Incredibly rude.. so bad that I called her out on it the last time she checked me out and what do you know? She was the exact same today!!

Friendly staff deli was quick to help. Meat was fresh. Nice that if you vaccinated your not forced to wear the mask which is useless. People need to quit crying over that! Keep up the awesome work guys!!

I haven't been here in years, but I love the layout and the small town grocery store vibe here. They have an excellent selection of just about everything considering they are a smaller store. I would really recommend they update their checkouts to have more than 8 lanes though--even when all 8 are open, lines can build up when they have sales going on (the reason I was there), and there is enough room to add at least 2 or 3 more checkouts if they were to modernize them.

October 31 2022 night manager and cashier very rude. Plus night manager doing scratch off tickets on the clock. Both need to be fired worse customer experience in there in a long time.

Best meat and produce in town. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Love the lowest price guarantee, and the deli is awesome on those nights I don't want to cook. My son prefers their fried chicken to anyone's!

Feeling frustrated...the deli now closes at 6pm??? This makes no sense! It's like they don't want business, especially when they offer a chicken dinner special, but only until 6???

Being a vendor and having our product on their shelves is one thing, but going out of their way is another. Craig in specialty foods did just that today. The girls in pricing did an outstanding job as well. If this is any indication of how this store is run then i am glad that our company is part of it. Layout of the store makes shopping easy and convenient. Most of the staff members are extremely helpful and friendly. There's a couple staff that work behind the counter that I think are very rude. But overall I like shopping at Price Chopper.

Yuck. Roommate went to get groceries here as usual, went for some prepackaged meat and the whole section was moldy... Alright no biggie, went around the corner to grab some fresh vegetables. Also moldy! I'M OUT.

I've been going there for quite some time several employees know my name and they're very friendly in there. When I just got out of the hospital the staff knew about it , they even carried my groceries out to my car and put it in my car for me and they wouldn't take a tip from me. So thank you Stephen for taking care of me it's very much appreciated

I would really love for someone to see this, I don’t normally write reviews but this was terrible service in the deli. A guy that was moving like a sloth would not communicate with me at all. I asked if he could help me and he said he can’t. I said why not he never responded, he would not talk at all or look at me and looked like he hated his life. Sorry but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had

There is a stark difference between this location and the one closest to it in Kearney, MO. Why is that? I went in yesterday to buy ground beef where all of it was kept in coolers with doors and almost most all of it was turning grayish green. You would never see that in the Kearmey location. Also, all the food is scarce looking, they have no deli that serves all kinds of hot gourmet food like the one in Kearney. Price chopper is twice as expensive as Walmart and it should be twice as nice. It should be a more high end experience like the one in Kearney 8 miles away.

5/14/22. Went in McKeever's to get Tomatoes & water.( I don't normally shop here anymore because the meat always looks bad! Grey)I'm looking at tomatoes on the Vine and they only hv 3 plastic bags of them. I notice 1 of the tomatoes was bad. I went to open a different bag and the the produce guy (Jim) say's very loudly! Those bags are closed for a reason! I said, What? No answer. I walked over and told him 1 of the tomatoes was bad... He said, So! Buy it anyway! Then he mumbled something and I said, You don't have any right to yell at me or talk to me that way! I then reported him to customer service who called the manager. They said they were aware of how he is ? Why is he still there? My review and advice is, shop anywhere else in Excelsior Springs but McKeever's!

I am an avid coffee drinker. I got into to drinking instant coffee when my wife threw out my coffee machine to clear up space .. so a good friend of mine gave me some instant coffee from England. From what I was told that’s a very common way to make coffee over there. And I found that it was a great way to make coffee bc of the convenience aspect. Unfortunately tho after awhile regular instant coffee wasn’t strong enough. Thankfully this Price Chopper sells instant espresso. Love it. Spoon full of espresso a small cup of milk and two spoons of sugar and you’ve got Starbucks right at home. And it’s only $4 for a container that will last you two weeks. Way cheaper than Starbucks.. Please never get rid of the instant espresso. I hope somehow it is able to catch on a lot more. (StarBucks is great but this is a great for someone on a much smaller budget. Hey, We’re all trying to live the dream!)

Visit sometime has decent pricy buffet (not all yu could eat) either for 7.99 chicken 2sides if they aren't gone onion rings shrimp potatoes sticks not bad try it if you around excelsior springs their other thing to do store is nice too well stocked buffet that isn't guy is very welcoming too

Most grocery stores are grocery stores. This review focuses on the deli and salad bar: Excellent, fresh salad bar. Fancier, Whole Foods-type grocery stores have BIGGER salad bars, but not *better*... The sliced bell peppers were crunchy enough to snap, not bend. Yay! And wonderful sliced Rotisserie turkey breast available from the deli counter.. . An easy, healthy option for a quick meal--which is exactly what I was looking for.

Used to work here. But I still shop at price chopper. Not a fan of the corporate office. Don't appreciate the worker's very well. They are grossly under paid. So don't give them a hard time, they do their best with the situation. You be nice and they will treat you right

They offer different selection on meats that can't get at mega super centers great sales I shop on 3rd of each month I get some small cuts meats I couldn't never have chance if it wasn't for their $5 for $25I heard it went up just a little they said it's still a good deal

The Deli has really improved. Nice neighborhood. Clean store. Place to sit and eat a hot meal. Standard departments.
