Sandy is amazing! The campground is beautiful, serene and clean! It's a wonderful place just to soak in some nature. The stars at night are spectacular from here. The tent sites are HUGE and will accommodate several tents. Check-in is super quick and easy. The bathrooms are nice and neat, and the showers are actually showers (sometimes campgrounds have really weak dinky ones.) Eminence is a cute little river town surrounded by national forest. They have full hookup for RVs and they are pull thru. I definitely recommend this place for nature lovers and those just wanting to get away from the bustle of life.

A few weeks before our stay I got a call that the prior owner had accidentally double booked our camping site.Sandy said she'd take care of us, and she absolutely did. We had a wonderful site and an amazing time!The location is also super convenient to floating and a few nice little spots in town.

Sandy and Matthew were amazing hosts! The campgrounds were well kept, clean, and gorgeous! We stayed in the glamping tent, which was awesome. We're looking forward to making a trip back with the whole family and staying in one of their awesome cabins. So close to the cute little town of Eminence as well as the rivers and several canoe outfitters. 10/10!

Have been going to Eminence Cottages and campground for years. It is by far the most enjoyable experience I've had in my camping trips. Cabin 1 is incredibly awesome. It is beautiful to sit and watch the wild life in action when your having your morning coffee. Always clean cabin and a warm friendly atmosphere. I would recommend it to all. Staff is always on top of things and highly recommend them. I love ❤️ it there. Will be going again.Rooms: Love how spacious the rooms are and what has been a comfortable place to lay my head.Walkability: Close to town for a walk to see amazing things and people.

Everything about our experience at eminence cottages and camp went perfectly. They were very easy to find. When we got there the check in process was pain free and they even gave us a map of the entire property, and drew out our route from the office to where we were staying. We got to our rental to find our own private gravel driveway to park our vehicle and unload. There was a front porch with plenty of furniture, a bonfire ring out back, as well as plenty of furniture inside and sleeping room for our entire group. Inside was very clean and had all kitchen utensils needed including a toaster and coffee maker! The a/c units kept the place nice and cool for our return from a hot day on the river. AND it was just a very short walk to get into town for whatever we needed.All in all, we can't wait to go back!

The location is wonderful, close to town but in quiet setting. The rooms need updated. The beds are very uncomfortable. The futon in living room has no cushion, horribly hard. The coffee pot was clogged and had to strain our coffee after it brewed. The air conditioner couldn't keep cool. The freezer needed defrosted, as it was so frosted over the freezer door wouldn't shut properly. The shower is way to small. Not sure, we'd stay there again.Food & drinks: Dairy shack in town is good food, long wait.

This was our first stay at Eminence Cottages and Camp and we were very pleased. The campground was well maintained and the bath facilities were very clean. It was very family friendly and quiet with the tent sites large enough to allow for space between. When we arrived our son was setting up his hammock and we noticed a couple of dead branches on the tree above which was a concern since storms were supposed to blow threw. A quick trip to the office resulted in the owner quickly coming and removing the branches. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We will not consider staying anywhere else on our next trip to Eminence!

We really enjoyed the campground great location nice and quiet our son and daughter-in-law rented the glamping tent which they liked very much. Staff was very helpful and nice we do plan to return. Our only issues was with other guests taking their animals to use the restroom and not cleaning up after them. You should not have dog poop at your campsite

Eminence Cottages & Camp is wonderful! It is very family friendly. The grounds and bathroom/shower house is well kept. Our RV site had plenty of shade. The staff are great. And the shop has everything you may have forgotten as well as little mementos for the kids. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a week long stay in a full hook up site at Eminence Cottages & Camp. The owner, who also handles all the details of the check in process, was friendly & helpful. The campground was clean, sites were gravel, but mostly level, with plenty of beautiful mature trees for shade. Shower house & restrooms were clean and well maintained, as well.We enjoyed an afternoon at the public river access & rock beach less than a mile away. And found some beautiful roads for riding our motorcycles. Hwy 19, between Eminence and Salem, is much more enjoyable on a bike than pulling a big RV 😀My only reason for giving 4 out of 5 stars for location was the steepness grade of the driveway and property in general. The fresh rock made it a bit challenging on a motorcycle, but maybe it will be better after it is driven on more. And I tried to take a walk, but it is either all uphill or all downhill, with very few level parts of the campground path. However, that’s also part of what makes it such a beautiful place!We very much enjoyed our stay & will look at Eminence Cottages & Camp again in the future!

Came to the area after some flooding to do some sightseeing before the seasonal rush and most state park camping was closed in the area as were some private riverside sites. I didn't want to give in and get a hotel room so I searched for places on my phone once I had cell service in town. Pulled in to Eminence Cottages and Camp and called the number on the door since the store was closed. The camp host was very friendly and she got me set up with a nice little private site. Really appreciated this place coming in clutch as a place to stay since the parks were closed and it turned out to be a very charming spot. It's set on the mountainside running downhill, mostly open with a fair amount of trees for shade. Great views, clean campground (in off-season!), hot showers, and the prices certainly don't skin you alive. Kudos to the team doing such a great job on maintenance and customer service, it's a small wonder why so many are return visitors here. For those who like to stay connected or are just skeptical of backcountry reception, I had a steady 2 bars of cell service at this location, plenty of signal to do most things on a smartphone. Really a great place to base camp for sightseeing like I was or to bring the family/friends outdoors in a safe environment. Big thanks to Eminence Cottages and Camp.Rooms: I stayed in the campground during March, each site has a picnic table and a heavy duty fire ring. The place is relatively quiet compared to staying in town. Although the campground is set on a hill, the sites have been tiered and leveled so that tent sites don't force an inclined sleep.Nearby activities: Eminence is just Southwest of the 2 Rivers area, the Rocky Creek Conservation Area is a short trip South, and Alley Spring lies minutes to the West. There are trails to hike, rivers to float and fish, good camping, amazing natural springs, and historic landmarks all in one of the most scenic and well-maintained areas of the country.Noteworthy details: Just driving into this part of Missouri makes it worth the trip no matter how far the travel. The rolling mountainous horizons that make the Ozark forests famous are ever present at this lodging. The township of Eminence and the Jack's Fork River hover just below to provide everything else you may need for recreation. The camp has a whole building dedicated as bathroom stalls for everything from hot showers with places to hang items to sinks and mirrors. The prices are fair for stays and there is on-site shop that stocks firewood, libations, and other camping conveniences.

Great place to stay. Spent a couple of nights here over the weekend and had a blast. Very quiet. Clean bathrooms and showers. Owners were very pleasant and had good suggestions for what to do with kids around the area. We will be back to stay if ever in the area again.

I rented a cabin with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons. We enjoyed it immensely! Just the right amount of space for us. Quiet area. I loved the covered patio with the picnic table. My grandson has asked several times to go back. We will definitely be back next year!

We were attending a wedding nearby and just needed overnight accomodations. The hotel room was large, clean, had a comfortable king size bed as well as a futon and very reasonably priced. Check in and check out was easy, as was parking. We would stay again if the need arises.

I’ve stayed here twice now since the new ownership and love it! The location of the place is excellent, close to a lot of attractions, but secluded enough to still have nice quiet place to sleep. First time was in a camper, the grounds are well kept and the slots are nicely spaced allowing some nice privacy. I stayed again last week in a hotel suite and was very pleased! The bed is super comfortable, the room was very clean, had fast WiFi and I loved the views off the balcony! I will be back again for sure.

What a great place, just far enough away from the hustle & bustle, quiet clean and the host is so nice. We stayed in the suites above the store, room enough for 4 of us and clean and nice as could be. The upper deck for relaxing was a big plus as well as the lower. We took a walk around the camping area and it is very well setup for campers or tent campers, the cabins look beautiful. We highly recommend staying here and will again next year for sure. This is a terrific place to book if you cannot find a place to camp in late October. The Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They do have wifi but not in the cabins, just FYI but we had great signal on our phones so it was a non-issue. Very close to town which had restaurants, a grocery store, fuel...etc. River outfitters will even come and pick you up/drop you off if you'd like to float the Jack's Fork. Do bring your own coffee and cooking oil if you intend to use the kitchen. They have all the basics (coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils, plates, etc) but those were the only things I forgot to bring with our food. Highly recommended. Thank you for a terrific stay!
