Had a great time today with my girlfriend.I was really scared the animals would damage my car but they had great awareness with their antlers. The Bison and lamas were my favorite while in the car.The kangaroos were my favorite in the walking section. We had such a great time, and definitely will be back!

Could not have had a better first-time experience. In the petting zoo, you can't do much petting but I loved seeing all of the baby pigs and the kangaroos so up close. The safari part of the zoo was amazing was so much fun to feed the deer and alpacas. The emus were kind of scary to see up close😂 but other than that we had so much fun here!

We had a wonderful time driving through and feeding the animals. It was a warm day so most of them were in the shade, but it was still nice to see the variety of animals. When we went inside to see the animals, it was pretty awesome. I forgot the gentlemans name, but he had red hair and he was so friendly and answered all my sons curious questions. He told us the animals names and about them. He made the experience even more amazing!!!

Has a very diverse amount of animals! Fun for the whole family! Saw quite a number of every animal. We came around feeding time so most of the animals came up to the car. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves animals. Very big self guided tour.Has a few reptiles inside the gift shop, some birds that you can feed, some hissing cockroaches, and some guinea pigs you can pet. There are a few animals that you can feed and pet in the back like goats, rabbits, kangaroos, mini horses, pigs etc.Has a bathroom in the gift shop to wash your hands.Would definitely recommend coming here with your family.

This is a drive through zoo. It was pretty reasonably priced and the had a bunch of mammals and birds. The kids loved getting so close to the emu and deer. They gave out food to feed the pigs and stuff but none of the animals seemed interested. They also had a bunch of rabbits and stuff for the kids to pet. It’s a good one time visit probably.

The kids loved this drive through zoo. It also had a nice petting zoo for all ages with a nice variety of animals to interact with. The only complaint is that there could be more exotic animals to see on the drive through. Other than that it's a must see if down that way.

I feel like this zoo has went downhill. They hardly have any of the animals that they used to have. They wanted to charge per person instead of by car & it was going to cost $93?? For what? It would have been cheaper to go to a different zoo.

This is the BEST ZOO I have ever been to :PRO : You can encounter and hold 3 animals with the VIP pass; you can go in a huge Bird house and feed the birds while they fly all over you! You can go in the cage with the SLOTHS and feed them...you can ride the bus and FEED Camels , Zebras and many more and you can touch them!!! On the live story you can pet them too. They have animals that no other zoo has!CONS : small

This was our favorite experience on our honeymoon so far (we’re on day 4 of 6)!! We did the personal RTV tour and I’m so glad we did :) Mike was our tour guide and exceeded our expectations. We met tons of animals way up close; Mike knew exactly where to find them and how to call them over. We also got tons of pictures, many of them thanks to Mike for taking them! We’re blown away and will definitely come back next time we’re in the area. Y’all, if you only do one thing in this area, come here and do the personal RTV tour. Worth the money.

The drive through was decent, we had a good time besides not having a large variety of animals and most of them (besides deer) can’t come to your car. When we got out for the putting zoo we realized it’s not really a petting zoo. False advertisement. We got told we couldn’t pet 9/10 of the animals put in the “petting zoo”. We did pet a bunny, he was extremely friendly, then they took it away and put it somewhere we couldn’t pet it anymore. The “parakeet paradise” that you’re supposed to be able to walk in was closed. The larger birds had suffered bald spots, either injured or self inflicted from anxiety.

Sam was a great help. Absolutely loved the animals and feeding them many right up to the car. Wolves are here. That's rare. Absolutely recommend

Drive through was not as exciting as expected. Only real encounter we had was with very friendly ostrich that didn’t want us to leave. Petting zoo didn’t have my animals either. Boys liked the Burt enclosure with birds. They get to feed birds with feeding sticks.

It was awesome, the lamas and the deer just came head first in the car wanting treats. Will definitely go back again

Very nice place! You can feed the animals from your car. My seven year old loved it!

Nice people but the directions were not real clear. Did the VIP package and that was very good and informative. The walk path is very up and down with steep hills my wife cannot walk. Did the drive through which wasn't bad. Habitats were natural and spread out but was told there was a building at the end where we could get out and see more animals. It was closed. Kind of disappointed overall. Will probably not revisit that one.

This zoo is awesome ! The only downside is the drivethru I was really excited for it looking at the pictures on the website but it is very misleading . you couldn't see anything ,you were so far from the animals the road wasnt in the best shape . The walking park is nice ! It is small but its non funding . just with general admission you are able to feed and pet the animals we had a blast ! The staff is nice and we got to see an alpaca giving birth ! 😊

We arrived at about 2 p.m. on a day when the advertised closing time was 4 p.m. We had 3 adults and 1 child and bought 2 cups of feed for a total of about $88. We decided after feeding the parakeets to drive through and come back for the petting zoo. We arrived back to the petting zoo at 3:30 to be informed by the young lady working that they were closing the petting zoo at 3:30 and we could not enter. If we had been told that orinally, we could have done that first and then the drive through. Or, they could honor their advertised hours. We really enjoyed the experience until then and would have rated 5 stars but left instead with a bad feeling.

This place has great potential. We chose the VIP package. The petting/feeding area I felt could use an update, but the animals looked healthy and some were more than happy to greet you for a treat. Corey took our group to touch and hold a prairie dog, snake, and Joey. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and had a great sense of humor. Ira was our tour guide and brought our group through the park to feed an assortment of animals. Word to the wise, if you enter a paddock with an emu, watch them closely. One snuck up along side the vehicle while my daughter was feeding the Buffalo, and it bit her hand. Wasn't serious, no one's fault, but keep an eye on those sneaky things. Otherwise the experience was pleasurable, and with your entrance purchase, you can also get into the eagle Rock zoo for free with your tickets.

I gave a separate review of 5 stars for the safari. We were lucky that the young woman who greeted us was able to tell us how everything works, it isn't clear. She explained that we do the drive through part and then come back through the building to get to the petting zoo. When we returned to go through the petting zoo, there was an older blonde woman who was less than friendly. It made me feel like she thought the guests were a burden. I think maybe a mental reset of the business she is representing. Other than that we loved the place. We would return if we are back in town, but if we were greeted with an attitude to begin with we would definitely have left immediately.

We took the whole family (wife, grandma, 4 year, 3 year old,1 year old, and myself) today, everyone had an absolute blast! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. The animals were so much fun and with great variety, quantity, and very well mannered. I would undoubtedly recommend this zoo to you, around every corner there is something new. Whether it's the drive through zoo or the petting zoo you and your family will love it.

Please don’t make the same mistake we did. We didn’t research this place first. These people may mean well but they aren’t properly taking care of these animals. We regretted giving them money as soon as we passed the counter and saw them keeping multiple snakes in the same tank when ball pythons need to be in a tank alone. Most of the shelters seen around the park are metal which means while they offer some shade they will also get really hot inside. They are breeding these animals as we saw multiple pregnant animals or ones with babies and they even have a pair of what looked like wolves in a small enclosure with grass grown up so tall around it I can’t even say for sure that’s what was in there. They have two prairie dogs that are kept in a small wire cage inside the building where they can’t dig at all which is heart breaking. Please don’t give them money so they can keep doing this. We wish we hadn’t.

I feel like the majority of people giving this place bad reviews are just expecting a more traditional big budget zoo. This place is great for its scale and price and all of the animals we saw looked very happy, healthy and very eager to see what food we brought them lol.The customer service was great as well and the women at the front desk was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to any questions we had.
