Our cashier is always so friendly and helpful. Sometimes it seemshe is there by himself , but that doesn't face him. He is calm and always got a smile. Love going into the store. Very organized.

Everything was well stocked, organized and the prices were all marked and easy to see. The staff was courteous and helpful. Checkout was quick and efficient. For a very small town, it was excellent. Big city stores should be as perfect. The place was spotless. Everything faced and fronted. Overall, a great shopping experience.

I can certainly tell when the new management took over. The store is clean, shopping carts are always available and for a small town store they have plenty to choose from.On the downside, on two occasions i have come across cashiers who are disinterested in their jobs. They are rude to customers. Under the new management i have seen much improvement in overall attitude. Isles need to be passable stock carts should not be left unattended in the middle of isles. Isles are narrow and when this happens the handicap are unable to pass in in the isle in wheelchairs. Workers should bring them out, unload them and remove them from the isles.They are definitely understaffed as lines are usually long and only one or two registers open. This is the fault of Corporate office, not the store itself.If you are looking for a bargain whether it be food to stationary, this is the place to go!I recommend going on a Saturday in order to use the $5 off coupon on a previous receipt.

The staff are really nice, open and helpful. But this store is a bit messy. The deshevled isles make it kind of hard to find things sometimes. There also seems to be theft commonly in the store. The stores layout is also fairly cramped.

I have a problem with both of the Dollar Generals in our area. I'm disabled and have to use a rollator to walk with. The aisles are narrow, and many floor displays make it difficult to navigate through. I do like their selection of items, but rarely shop there because of the above mentioned problem.

Cluttered and oddly arranged. Super slow check out. Some real friendly employees though and they've got a good variety of merchandise as well as pretty good sales.

Disorganized, always stuff in the isles never put up and looks trashy. They have 4 people working and have 1 cashier always. Every once in awhile someone will come help the other cashier but very rare. Some staff friendly and some arnt.

Oooo im here to tell u.... Ok listen there are some great employees and then there are some I just don't understan.... me being customer service correct me if I'm wrong.... but if a customer asks you something about a product or food... aren't you supposed to help them look for or give a suggestions or a different kind brand.... I just stand there and throw your shoulders like you don't care.... But then there a couple of young sir's that work nites that are helpful.... They really help out... By goin to show u where it is or give me suggestions for other things.... Now that rite there is how every single one of your employees should be.... But ya i still come up there everyday😃

I absolutely hate going to this particular store There is always issues when I go Whether it’s the employees to include the managers out smoking in the front and you have to wait for them to finish before you can check out or the unprofessional way they deal with customers who act a fool Last night my husband and I stopped in with some out of town friends who where visiting The plan was to grab a few snacks and grab a Redbox movie We got in line and the people in front of us were arguing with the clerk about price of pj pants The clerk was doing a good job at keeping his cool and said he would get a manager He couldn’t find her and had to go outside to get her She was smoking Meanwhile there are 10 ppl in line waiting The Manager came in mad and only made the unruly customers worse She actually screamed at them and was arguing with the clerk about the price Ironically the clerk was correct about the price and was trying to make the situation better and the manager was not We along with several other dropped our stuff and walked out I was embarrassed and frustrated and will make the extra drive to Walmart the next time I need anything

Very poor service wen there before 5 minutes before closing and they already had the doors locked with people in side!!! Wouldn't even let us in!!!! Never going back. The one in vienna mo is so much better! Said they can't lock the doors when people are still in side!!! Dixon dollar general is a joke NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!!

They have just about everything you can think of! They have expanded their grocery list and now offer frozen meals and dairy products! It is like a mini Walmart or Meiers!!

This place was a mess. Couldn't walk through the isles. There is no reason for the store to look like that. I understand customers do make a mess but it should be cleaned daily

I like going here for the people. You're going to meet someone you know, or someone that knows you. Staff is helpful and friendly. You always end up buying something you didn't expect to be buying, but it's usually worth it.

Store carries most normal general store items. At times can be cluttered and messy. Staff close earlier than posted quite often. It wouldn't be a big deal if we didn't live in a town that doesn't have other things open after 10.

Big signs all over the store says wear a mask, but only the staff, me and 2 others did, and the staff said nothing to those who weren't.

This is one of 2 stores there in dixion. It kind of messy and you will see all kinds of people there. But they do have a redbox.
