I like that this Walmart has the self checkout that makes things easier.This location was clean and the floors were shiny. The shelves were tidy and orderly as well. I like that the layout is the same as the ones near my house. This makes it easy to find things.

Usually Desoto Walmart is great and I go there before Festus because they have more in stock. This time I got a wonderful cashier named Dillon. Long dirty hair in a ponytail and smelled like he hadn’t showered in a week. Decided to be a misogynist has a serious dislike for woman. Insulted me atleast 4 times in front of my daughter and husband. ( Oh you’re paying with his card? Of course you are!! ) Judging what we had in our cart well I don’t understand why you have this much ketchup ( was chili sauce for lil smokies). Completely rude. He needs to be removed guaranteed he ruined plenty of people’s day. The rudest cashier I’ve ever had at any store.

I think it's stupid we have to check on self's out and then when you do go, they only have 3 registers open for self check out. it's back to when they did have past years. 3 registers opened with cashiers. I mean you charge what you charge walmart can you not afford real employees

The Desoto Walmart is easy to get in an out quick when you just need to pop in for something. Stopped in to get some snacks and was done in no time. Lots of signs posted so you can find your way around easily as with all/most Walmarts.

I love Walmart, I get the pleasure of having to scan my own items while someone stares at you the entire time like you're doing something wrong, they trust their customers - 💯% and after that nightmare is over then off to my favorite part .... you know.... when approaching the exit door and the employee waiting at the doors and asking to see your receipt for the items you just had to walk around the store to find and then bring them to the checkout where you had to unload them and scan each item and bag them up to load them all back in the cart in order to be able to push the cart towards the exit so the employee can embarrass you in front of everyone else in the store by asking to see your receipt as if you did something wrong or maybe they just don't trust you, either way I absolutely can't get enough of it so keep up the lousy work and maybe start having the employee checking receipts to start giving out complimentary bjs or hjs for the embarrassment and inconvenience.

I'm sure I'm one of the few Black people who shop at this Walmart & they keep needing to ask to see my receipt when I leave the store bc their racist brains are stupid enough to think the only Black person in the store would actually be stupid enough to get caught stealing. I'll transfer my prescription to a Walmart in a more diverse location. I'm over dealing with these racists. They got more than one star because the young lady in the pharmacy was very friendly & helpful.

And it just goes on and on.... posted pix like this very 1st nite Wallys closed early due to virus. Been years now. Rather sickening isnt it?Used WM+ scan & Go. Was ok. Still had to bag and pay at check out. Will bring bags next time to try.

In my area, this is THE store in which to shop. There are very few other alternatives. That being said, this smaller store is pretty fully stocked, kept clean, and employees are friendly and helpful.

Sometimes the shelves are a little bare and it's always the same items. The whole "sir let me see your receipt" thing will always ignore and keep walking because I believe Walmart has enough cameras (like a casino) and I'm not going to be disrespected, by some 75-year-old lady presuming I didn't pay for something in my cart.

I go to this location frequently because it is closest to home. I know where most things are and can hop in and out for the quick items. I know most of the employees and they will take time to help if you need it. They helped me when I had to learn how to use the motorized carts. They cheered me on when I got back on my feet and still encourage me each time they see me. The very first time i visited there, the cashier actually looked me in the eye and asked me if I had found everything I was looking for. She actually meant it and was not on automatic pilot.

Usually pretty good experience when I come in here. I don't have people hounding me for scanning things and if I need approval for self checkouts they are fairly quick. Inventory on items are stocked for the most part.

I came in last week looking for a prepaid phone for my business. Brandon Giancola assisted me and he was very knowledgeable on all the phone plans and also helped me adjust my current phone plan with some billing issues I was having. He had excellent service, was very friendly, and actually took time to listen to what I was looking for to help me make an informed decision. Definitely a great experience.

The men in the Auto Center were great. The family and I were going on a camping trip for mother's day when my brother noticed a bad tire on the camper. He called ahead to let them know we were coming. My brother noticed another issue and long story short, they stayed almost an hour after closing to help us with the camper so we could go on our trip. They wouldn't accept a tip although the attempt was made. They were informative, quick, accurate and professional. Thanks to them, we had a great weekend!

I’m giving this a 5 star rating on my review, simply because I placed a phone call. I’ve called several times (4) until I was able to reach Patti, from Walmart pickup. She was extremely adamant about helping me look for an item, in a specific color. Patti, took her time to assist me. I’ve shopped there regularly for the past 10 years, over my closest store in Potosi. They seem to have more items I shop for readily available. The cleanliness of the store, is okay. Overall, the employees have helped me find, or to verify that they do not have what I am looking for, before I drive the extra miles.

They are always out of what I come in for . I usually have to substitute for a brand I do not care for if they have it at all , sometimes I'm forced to make a separate trip to another store , taking more time out of an already busy day .This happens very frequently at this location and it's never just one item on my list , it's more like a few items that they do not have . Maybe stocking is the issue or maybe the ordering is the issue but it's very annoying. I would love just to walk in and get everything I need in one stop . Also their produce department could be better and fresher . Produce is bad the very next day or a couple days later and is too expensive to throw away . It's also very disappointing..

Very nice setup store in Desoto first time there, we found things that weren't at our regular store. Very friendly people work here the greeters were very helpful as we came in the door.

They always have what I need easy to find,and if I can't find something there is someone always around to help you find the things you are looking for cashier's are wonderful better than snchucks in my opinion
