Variety of items, quality has improved. Inexpensive. Updating my review because since Marty has been running the store on Broadway; the improvements have been dramatic. I'd much rather drop in here for a couple of quick items than have to go to Walmart for anything or to Dollar Tree. It's just more convenient.

I love Dollar General but simply cannot give them a higher rating. Absolutely EVERY time we go and use our digital coupons we have problems. Sad thing is that those who DON'T pay close attention to the transaction WILL be inadvertently taken advantage of. I love the digital coupons but I'm not sure why they offer it if they can't create a system that does it correctly. It has happened with FOUR of the stores in our area and HAS happened REPEATEDLY! I've held up a long line of customers over it. I have sent an email to the company early on over it but never received a response. Often the store clerks were very bothered by my insistence they fix it. I've even had TWO carts ROUNDED with EVERYTHING purchased because of digital coupons. So you can imagine the frustration of myself and those in line behind me at having to fix it all. Will I go back? Sure! The digital coupons are a great savings and being on a fixed income, we need to save all the money we can. Oh and by the way, unless it's been corrected and I doubt it has (since my email was ignored) you cannot add coupons from the app and it work. You must go to their website to add them. Little tidbit they failed to share until one store manager cared (Avoca, AR) and explained there were problems with the coupons and you must go to their website ALWAYS to add the coupons. They did NOT work by just adding them in the app. I wonder how many people really thought they got a deal when they paid full price. I'm flabbergasted that companies offer these things yet don't have a system that works correctly. It's probably why many businesses dry up and close their doors.

Although not fancy, this location has a great staff who are always eager to help. This location also carries many items I can't find elsewhere.
