Animals look healthy. Place is clean, food and water in all cages. They have beautiful, loving dogs for adoption with no fee at the moment. Cats and kittens are also available. I would always recommend having 2 because better they entertain themselves than get into mischief.Please considered adoption as opposed to buying. These are loving family members who did not choose to be left behind. They all deserve a forever family! I commend these shelter workers who are very dedicated to this job. If you cannot adopt, please donate whatever you can to help them.

Humane Shelter that lacks humanity! If it shutdown today it would change the amount of strays in the area since they rarely intake. If you want to be told to go to Cape or St.Louis by a place that doesn't know the correct town it's in than Caruthersville Humane Society is the place to be!

I gave you one star more than you deserve. You should rename it to Dog shelter since that's all you care about. The first Humane society that I've ever been to that suggested going to another town or releasing away from building.

The absolute worse humane society I have ever encountered. Gives false information on pets and then will tell you the shelter is full instead of doing the job of a humane society. Then they will threaten you not to leave the pet around the facility. Plus it’s in Hayti but called caruthersville.

The world's worst humane society. It should be illegal to operate a charitable organization but deny doing the charitable work. Places like this are the devil and will answer for falsehood charity.

I would give them a no star if i could they never said that the dog had some one elses intrest and they told us to be there at 2 and when we got there they adoped her out already
