The chicken they sold me was dried up, and they put freshly fried chicken in the tub as I stood there. Sadly, I was only given the old dried up stuff.I don't shop here, so I can't give a review on the rest of the store.

I have been going here since I can remember they even have some of the same ppl working there from my kid days. Only store where I've never had a rude employee and any of them are willing to help in anyway they can. Best prices in town on fried chicken don't taste bad either. Some prices are higher than other places but I go just for the atmosphere and awesome employees!

The store is always extremely clean, organized, and shelves are even faced and pulled forward! The staff is always very nice and polite. The food is always good rather it's deli, groceries, or fried chicken!! Their FRIED CHICKEN is SO GOOD!! I really enjoy Food Giant everytime I stop in.

They have individually plastic wrapped bell peppers. It would be truly revolutionary if peppers had some sort of barrier, perhaps a protective skin, that could allow them to be safely and hygienically displayed. It sure is a good thing that every single bell pepper in the store has been wrapped in plastic.

Great selection. A little bit higher prices, but they have a great staff, also certain items and brands that you can't find anywhere else! 🙂☮ Great quality & freshness! They usually have some good SALE prices on at least a couple things that you may be kind of browsing for.

I went in there looking for a small item and even when somebody said that they weren't sure they went and told me to go to the manager which right there in front and was also working the register so I went to her and we was able to get what I needed fairly quickly and I love how the professionalism and the catering to the customer service

It was a great experience. After a few years of going to Walmart town market I was needing a money order. Walmart's money order machine was down.(again) A friend told me to try Food Giant. I not only got my money order I also found my new grocery store. Everyone one I encountered was very nice and helpful. The employee's acted like they cared if I shopped there. I will tell my family and friends. Thanks!

It's good when in a pinch. It smells kind of bad and the prices seem high. It's closer to me than the other stores and I go there for quick items. You're money ahead to go to other places if you have a long list. I've heard a lot of people comment on how good the fried chicken is there and I often see a line for it, so I tend to believe them. Not long ago they did a remodel and that has improved the appearance.

It was okay the place is conveniently located, and you get in and out pretty quick.Bananas were so green only place you could get rid of them is a women's prison.I bought some chicken dinners and the woman checking out at the register put them in the bag on their side. It was a mess when I opened them. But yet she put a package of two paper towel rolls in a freaking bag. There were a couple other things that just seemed sort of like they thought the rest of the world thought like them instinctively

I love the fried chicken that they cook there and the fact that you can call your order in and they will call you and let you know when its ready for pick up all you have to do is ask for them to call you when it ready. And everything in their display case taste great. And they also sell pulled pork and roasted chickens and barbecued ribs and you can either get them hot or cold. And this store has a pick 5 for only $19.99.

Food Giant has nice , flavorful fried chicken and fish ,& cooked pork, along with sides for a nice quick meal for a long day of work or just a lazy day for cooking. You can also get large amounts for party's ( I would call ahead). And of course some nice breads or Hawaiian rolls to accompany that chicken ! They have nice fresh produce. We got delicious fruits last time we shopped. Prices can be a bit on the higher side for dairy and other products, but we enjoy the good service and fresh foods. You can find all assortments of snacks , drinks ( soft and hard) and canned and frozen foods. There meat section is a plus w/ the buy 5 for $20. / $25. Lots of choices too. Breads, cereals, baby products, a small selection of medicines and paper and feminine products are available.

I've been going to this grocery store since i was a little girl. Bout 48 years. Their always friendly and their prices are reasonable. I recommend this place to anyone that like really friendly and neighborly people. And great food. Especially their fried chicken and their smoked pork butt .

Was there on May 27th 2019 lady and the bread area was very nice and helpful. the checkout lines however need some help they were very busy and not enough people to really check people out. But overall experience was much better than we had at schnucks the same day. Edit... 6-22-21 went there today and bought meat... Sirloin tip roast was tough and chewy after cooking 4 hours in the Crock-Pot. Very sad!!! 2-6-22 they just jacked their prices up again where they're five for 1999 is now 5 for 2499 this is silly and ridiculous there's no reason that they had to do it I noticed that they put the beef back out there because they jacked the price out in the past few months they had no beef available at any time for that so it's convenient for them to put it back out now that they check the price up another five bucks. Plus the package is a meter getting smaller and smaller

While food giant is generally a nice store the assistant manager and the staff that work in hot foods were not accommodating with a false advertising on the 7.99 meal. It's supposed to come with a drink( med.ice tea), but it didn't. Needless to say I should have been offered a lower price for the meal or a drink of equal value. I'm disappointed in food giant. I probably will not order any more hot foods.

I bought some strawberries from here with my WIC hoping to have a scrumptious snack when I opened it have the strawberries were moldy and and looked bad… mind you I am pregnant and if would’ve eaten these without checking them first that would’ve been awful for me and my baby!

One of the best places to go for fried chicken, pretty cheap especially for dark meat, and the overall deli selection they have. Majority of the time I go there is either to pick up chicken or grab a quick bite to eat for lunch. Store overall is pretty good, clean and convenient.

Good place to quickly pick up what you missed putting on that grocery list. That is unless it's around 5 o'clock when a lot of people get off work. They have an offering called 5 for $20 of varied products that is money saving value if you chose to take advantage of it. They have small deli area where you can purchase the best fried and rotisserie chicken in town that is very reasonable price. I shop here frequently
