Friendly staff, decent food, and a good resting point to stop driving.The fries were good. Although im not a fan of the nacho cheese sauce personally, the shakes were alright. The garlic burger was okay, I think I would want to try a normal burger next time.They do have coffee and a Coke Machine.Connected to a gas station and nearby is a grocery store.Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: There are handicap parking spaces, none of the doors are automatic or have a handicap accessibility door button.

I see the negative reviews. I can't actually belive them. We stay at the state park a few times a year and I can say this Steak and Shake kills it. Food is always hot and cooked perfectly. If Steak and Shake could have replicated this in other places in the US they wouldn't have disappeared. Hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. Keep it up!

This is one of our favorite places to stop. The service was good and fast. Possibly too fast. One of our sandwiches didn’t make it into the wrapper and wasn’t even a sandwich when I found it in the bottom of the bag. My son found something foreign in his shake ( not going to speculate what it was) but stopped us both from eating or drinking more. I think we will find a new favorite place to stop on our vacations from now on.

Went to counter to place my order because the app was not working to order ahead. 5 employees not cooking or appeared to be doing anything at the moment other than holding up the counters. The one employee by register looked over his shoulder and told me I could use the kiosks to order or try to find someone to take my order. I wasn't greeted and then told to order on kiosks when I already tried the app that didn't work. We went to Wendy's. There were only 5 other diners in the S&S restaurant.

Was my 1st time trying Steak and shake. I have to personally admit the burger was a let down. All I can taste was bread and veggies. Why smash the hell out the burger? I couldn’t even taste it. Fries was decent and I’m sure those are their signature fries. Shoestring size, but McDonald’s still beats anyone fries. I did see and liked the plethora of shake flavors. Like basking and robins in thier 31 flavors.. there’s lots. I was just heart broken about the burger. When you go to a burger place your expectation is eyes on the prize…. THE BURGER! Not too busy; lot of employees to make sure service was fast, it was okay. I walked in and a group of young ladies walked in after me. One young lady ordered her meal before I could finish and finally I got my done and another got done before me. It’s me still trying to figure out the kiosk . So there was approximately 6-7 young ladies that actually got served before I did. Not sure how that happened all I ordered was a burger with tomato pickle onions mustard and lettuce and cheese i believe, large fry and regular drink. And still was served last. I did like the set up of the restaurant had a 50’s metro vs Current standards. Very casual feeling.

Staff are great but unfortunately the food is lackluster. I ordered the bacon cheese steak burger and my wife ordered the western BBQ burger.Both burgers tasted bland and were underwhelming. Fries were very skinny with small portion sizes.Chicken tasted bland as well. In all, I would not recommend

The garlic double is perhaps my guiltiest of pleasures. Truly heart disease on a bun but every time I'm near a Steak N Shake I have to stop and get one. Tremendous. Love this place. They have great chili as well

Up front I'll tell you I don't eat beef, so when our Signature SNS took chicken strips off the menu I stopped going there, of course. So when I heard they brought chicken back, I was excited because I love SNS fries. With my meal I asked to buy a bun with my meal, just like did before, but they refused to sell me one. My husband and both ordered the 3pc chicken strips and a drink each. The total came to $18.23. When our meals came out I was shocked! These were the skinniest, barely bigger than my husband's fingers, chicken strips, and a small mound of unseasoned, cold fries.....that's what we got for $18.23. SNS, you should be embarrassed, really. Guess we'll wait and try again when y'all get real.

My husband, our dog and I stopped by for a quick bite to eat on our road trip. The manager on duty, Jenny, and her crew made us feel so welcome sitting outside on their patio area. Jenny offered our Betsy a bowl of water to wash down her cheeseburger and fries. She was so friendly and attentive to not only us, but to all of the customers dining. And the food was delicious on top of it! Love this place even more now. Thanks so much Jenny! Keep up the great work 😁

Poor attitudes. Food is hit and miss and hardly what you would call delightful. The photo is of a butter burger with two lumps of cold refrigerated butter. Solid and not remotely edible. Notice the top bun that appears to have been dipped in butter.

I ordered a chocolate/ chocolate chip cookie dough milk shake without whipped cream and no cherry. I received a vanilla shake with chocolate chips and whipped cream and a cherry on top. I told the guy that took my order 4 times what I wanted cause he couldn't get it right, he was too busy talking to a co worker about some game, and he still didn't get it right.

Had a Frisco double and fries. Meh..... Greasy yet flavorful. Did I mention greasy? Fries were small like the arches but boring and almost flavorless. Had to hunt for ketchup and napkins. The shake was good, but not sure if it was good enough to lure me back in. Conveniently located with huge truck parking. I spied a Chinese restaurant across the way. I think my next visit here I'll go for a walk.....

Usually, they are very busy, but today, there were only a few people there. The service was good, and the staff were very friendly. We had our choice of tables to sit. The food was very good and hot, and I think they have some of the best milkshakes in our area! I highly recommend that you stop in if you are in the area!Parking: Parking depends on what time of day you go. .. Saturday afternoons and early evenings, finding a spot in front can be difficult… However, there’s usually parking down the block a little bit.

While passing through Missouri I needed fuel and was a bit munchie, the gas station had a Steak N Shake attached to it.Looks rather new and fairly cleanTable could been taken better care ofItems in the soda area coulda been restockedNot cups for ketchup had to use a soda lid.But the burgers are how I remembered and the Frisco Melt was tasty!
