I have come by a few times when in the area and am always treated like family.Friday nights are always special with their special beer of the night. Live music out in the back is a special touch as well.

We visit a LOT of breweries all over the place and this one…this is easily in the top 3. Do not pass it up. In fact, reroute to get here. They have 10 taps at any given time and all they had at the time of our visit were excellent. The chocolate milk stout, marzen, northern ESB and coffee stout stole the show.

A gem hidden in a mine if one is willing to look. Friendly people and atmosphere. Great music and drinks. These ladies are not only beautiful, but sweet. If you like steampunk then this is your place.

I got a chance to meet Nate and Tiff yesterday when I went to the brewery late in the day to pick up my T-shirt. They waited just for me to get there. This wonderful couple gave me a tour just like it was the beginning of the day. Tried several beers and was super happy with all of them. I know they will be very successful and hope to visit often!! Can’t wait for your Grand Opening!!

I don't drink beer but it is still a great place. My husband enjoys the beer. They have wine for non-beer drinkers. They had live music and a food truck. People have their babies and toddlers in there. No one was smoking. It was just a happy environment. The food truck food was GREAT!!

Great beers. Worth the trip from anywhere in the four state area. Service was amazing, comfortable seating. Fun game collection..you can't go wrong with the chocolate milk stout.

Loved it! My kinda Sunday Vibes honestly 😌They even let people bring their fur babies inside 😍No smoking so that's nice 🙂Have a wide range of beer on tap & wine however I am a non-drinker & still fit right in. Everyone is super friendly & has the best vibes. It is now my go-to hang out spot 😍

We have enjoyed every beer we’ve tried at Beard Engine! They have many different types of beer so there’s definitely something for everyone. (I’ve never been much of a beer drinker and they always have something I enjoy). Just case beer is totally not your thing they also have wine.It’s a laid back, relaxed environment. Staff is always super friendly and helpful.They now have the Alba Press which has a small menu of sandwiches- they are incredible!!They frequently have live music & other fun events. Plus family & dog friendly!!This place is really awesome and we look forward to our next visit!!

I'd leave 10 stars if I could. Beard Engine Brewing is definitely worth the short drive to Alba, just north of the Joplin Metro area. The owners are passionate about what they do and it shows in every detail. It's one of the coolest taprooms you'll find. The brews are as delicious as they are unique. Frankly, I need to get out here more often. Love it!

We absolutely love this brewery! Every one of their beers is so delicious, well-balanced and enjoyably interesting to drink.Great indoor feel and back patio with heaters and access to food trucks and La Familia Mexican takeout if you’re hungry.We love coming here. Cant wait to bring more family.

Great beer friendly owners and staff who are willing to spend time discussing their offerings. Nice English pub feel and atmosphere. The beers are European styles with a bit of a twist on some. We have been a few times and never had a bad pint. They usually have a food truck available for snacks while enjoying their beers.

A small family run brewery that is fairly new but, on target with a large selection of taps. With limited brewery area it's no small job to rotate 10 or more taps. I tasted a few. Going somewhat out of my taste buds comfort zone. Good pours to the last drop.Walking inside was a surprise to find a pretty cool seating area making the most of there smallish inside but, ample out back patio. Which they have live music weekends so call first for details as " The beard " likes music.No food but there is local delivery which is very popular . We very much enjoyed are sunday afternoon visit.

While I wait with great anticipation for the opening day, I must say the owners knowledge of the craft and extreme kindness is just a couple of reasons this will be a place I visit as often as I can.Update:Guess who is up and running!?! With 8 oriniginal craft beers on tap and the use of the cask, the beer experience was absolutely fantastic! Not to mention the great atmosphere including outdoor patio. Thanks Nate and Tiff for all the hard work that went into this amazing place to spend time with my family.

Best flipping coffee beer I've ever tasted! The owners are truly beer connoisseurs and just LOVE beer...and that shows via the level of their craftsmanship in their brewery. Love beer? Short motorcycle trip from Springfield to visit my new friends at their brewery, Beard Engine!What a hoot!!! The beer is awesome, the owners are awesome the place is awesome!!! Definitely a 5 Star place for a road trip.Also met several people who welcomed us into their beer family, can't wait to see you again, Nate and Tiffany!

Very neat place with the Steampunk motif. Checked out the patio and would be a nice place to hang out. We had a flight of four samples. All four were real good and the recipes were clearly crafted with care.Add this to your potential day trips to Southwest Missouri!

I visited the Old Miners Inn multiple times. I am so happy that this quaint and historical building is getting new life. The family friendly environment will be a welcome addition to this community. I have tasted several creations of this Brew Master and all I can say is amazing! I cannot wait for this to open.
