I love me some Stines!! It's the land of everything to me. If I need paint of any color Stine has it. I know there's other stores with the same thing but Stimes have a variety of colors that other stores does not have. Need help with anything? There's always an employee on the floor that's willing to assist you. The employees are nice,helpful,kind and very patient. My husband left his wallet in the truck and was able to go back and get it without the cashier becoming impatient and rude. The cashier struck up an interesting conversation to kill time and before you knew it we were leaving the store. I love the quickness of the cashier. I recommend this store to anyone interested in purchasing out door items including house appliances please visit Stones in Natchez,Ms. Thank me later.

Person in plumbing section gave me the wrong fittings and would not let me check the parts connections before I left the store. They did not fit, brought them back next day and the lady in customer service recommended me looking in the garden hose section, found the right parts there in minutes! She knew more than the plumbing section guy! The lady gets 5 stars! Thank you! (Edit: They get one star for responding.)

Make sure not to shop at stine. They do not stick behind their products they sell. I purchased a hose a month ago and it has split in this short amount of time. All I got was a “it’s not I side the return period.”

Have been to Stine’s several times now for many different things, especially various house building materials. Yesterday evening we came in and were able to get help from Donald who was very helpful in talking to us at the water heaters. At checkout, there was only one cashier, Tracy, and she was friendly and efficient. Even when another customer came up being a bit rude about the lines stating he was in a rush, she very well maintained her composure and checked him out at the same time as my boyfriend and I. Then today we went back in to get the water heater and flashlights, and we also got great help on the floor by Johnny.Definitely have some great workers here! Only thing I would say is they could probably use one more cashier in the evenings, especially on a Saturday evening. Only one on a Saturday/weekend at any point is a little silly honestly, but Tracy handled it perfectly!

The person in plumbing has a poor attitude. Went to get washers for my sink and couldn't find them. When this associate came up and asked if he could help I told him "I need washers for my sink but, I haven't found them and I don't believe y'all carry them ". Your associate then stated "Well, I don't know where to tell you to go " and walked off without even looking or trying to assist me. Seen him a few minutes later laughing and joking with an individual one isle over. I refuse to return to this location. I have spent thousands of dollars in your business remodeling my house and building furniture for people, you have lost a loyal customer to your competition in town and across the river.

The only reason for a below 5 rating, is I felt deceived at check out. They advertise a 10% veteran discount. After spending $1,6oo on fencing boards, imagine my surprise after transaction when on $50.00 dollars was discounted. Was informed there was a $500.00 limit on discount. If not for the hassle I would of made multiple purchases instead. If you're going to promote and advertise for veterans, do it honestly. Not for public opinion!

If I could give half a star I would. Anytime I go to loading warehouse I’m there for atleast 30 minutes every time with a small load. Everything is unorganized and just thrown around.the last thing was I bought a tub and when we finally found it the bottom was open and had scuff marks on it. It’s pitiful.

Large spacious store. Good assortment of home improvement items. Has nice plants as well as cute decorative stuff! Good selection of paints, appliances, and even has doors available plus much much more. Staff is always friendly as well!

Drove an hour to get here. Talked to them twice on the phone about a price on wood. Also wanted a dryer. When I arrived I asked about the dryer and were told they had it. I went to checkout and found out the wood was 4 dollars higher a board than I was told before. Ok fine. No wood but I paid for the dryer. I drove around and handed my ticket over. 20 minutes later the guy comes back and says oh sorry we are sold out. I couldn’t believe it! So I go back in the store and ask for a refund. While I’m waiting another customer with a buggy filled with quikrete knocks it over hitting my leg. The manager says nothing. Finally I’m refunded my money but it could be 2-5 days before my bank gets it back. This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen before. They have no idea what their prices are. No idea of what they have in stock. The only thing they are good at is selling you stuff that they don’t even have. I’ll never shop here again and no one I know will either. Good riddance.

I have never gone to Steinmart to get a key made. While visiting in Natchez my father asked me to get him a key made. I asked 3 people about getting a key made. No one pointed out where to go or indicated they could call someone to assist. It wasn't until I stood in line for over 10 min to get to a customer service associate that I was shown where to go and assistance called.

So far so good. They could have used more sales people on floor. I picked out a dryer, tolit, and bathroom vanity. Never had anyone offer to help with purchases. Just wrote down what I wanted and went to counter and paid.

My father bought a weed eater from here and also purchased the three year extended warranty. A month after he brought it in for minor work he is picking it up becuase they haven't even touched it. One time he was told that it was taken apart and they were waiting on the mechanic to put it back together. Then today the mechanic told him he hasn't touched it since my dad brought it in. All the workers he talked to had attitudes and do not know anything about customer service. Two times I've been with him, and I had to bit my tongue.

Stine's lumber is usually ok, but today was horrible. There are only a handful of people there who really know what they're doing. They're always hiring new people and they put them in front to deal with people, but I always have to wait for them to call their superiors and then wait for the superiors to calm their superiors. I waited for a long time almost an hour for them to get my loading ticket ready and when it was finally ready they didn't have the right (up-to-date) model of the appliance I wanted. Their new hires don't know a thing but the simple things. So for now on I'm getting my appliances delivered instead of store pick up. They wasted a lot of my time today and I am very unpleased with my shopping experience with them today.

I came to Stine to pick up some lumber. It’s sad when you have this young man walking around texting on his phone and that’s more important than getting your customer out of the building. So the other young man came to assist us and he made sure we got between needed, I called to speak with management but it seems that no one was available to speak with me at this time

It was very humiliating! There were totes at the front of store with a sign giving a reduction or sale price! A sign where it was visable for blonde cashier clearly saying 8.99. Ok on the top of tote was another price (original ) price. SHE FIRST tried to charge me sale price for tote and regular price for the darn lid! Omg ! I told her the lid was part of the tote. She still wasnt satisfied and called another cashier to ask about the tote and lid and he told her it rang up the right price and the lid was included. I was livid. I was so mad i walked away and let my husband pay for merchandise. We go there often but will think twice now!

I have been buying lumber in this store roughly 3 to 4 times a week. I always have them cut my 2x4s or 1x4s in half for me and never been a problem. Yesterday evening i go to pick up 2 8ft 1x4s and the guy working in lumber said his boss Chad just told him that it now cost $2 a cut . I was like are you serious thats a ripoff . The board only cost 2.19 . I know it was 50 cents or something like that before but now you charge 2 dollars?? Its not like its a big set up . Merry Christmas!!Thank you for the reply and i do understand misstakes in policy and im sure with the busy shopping season it can get confusing . So on that note its a 5 for me because everything else os great amd love shopping there . thank you

The main telephone number will ring until the phone almost cuts off. The when passed to the area where I might get a question answered, it rings until I finally hang up (almost 10 minutes of it ringing this time). Covid has nothing to do with it. Telephone customers are not important, I guess.

Stine is such a nice place to shop,, used to go to DeRidder location till I moved away,, revisiting today reminds me how much I love their stores.
