This is the absolute worse pharmacy in Mississippi! The wait time for prescriptions is ridiculous. The workers are rude and disrespectful. They don't care about any customer in any way, shape, or form. For the love of God, get your prescriptions any where but here!

Terrible go anywhere but here for your prescriptions , I’ve been waiting on my prescription sense 12 today. I just had oral surgery at it’s now 4 pm . I’ve been on hold for 3 hours trying to get the status . Absolutely ridiculous the lack of care they have for their customers. It’s just sad , this place has really gone down hill . Wish I could give zero stars .

It took two days to fill my prescriptions, 1 hour wait at the store, and I had to end up going back in and waiting again because my prescriptions were not filled correctly. I was told there was nothing they could do.

I will remove this review once the issue is resolved bc I can give at least 4 stars judging from my prior dealings with this pharmacy in the past. this one star rating is just a hopeful attempt at gaining attention for a solution.. Since Friday, I’ve tried speaking with a pharmacy staff member with an issue that cannot be resolved using automated system.. Since then, multiple calls throughout each day are sent to an answering service that says the same thing “ our staff is assisting other customers, there are 3 callers ahead of you”… it never changes.. there’s obviously a technical issue bc on the busiest of days I can at least get a call through eventually. I’m a patient woman and I live close by so obviously I’ll just have to make a trip. Let me jump on my soapbox for a min though.. you all are medical professionals with an oath to DO No Harm.. please get this issue fixed before some elderly woman misses a few days of eliquis and strokes out. Some people are going out of their way to get to you and the least you can do is have an open line of communication. Do better.. I understand things happen out of ones control but this has been almost 4 days..Update : things got a little better for a while with wait times but honestly I’m at my breaking point with this place… It’s time I support a local pharmacy where I might expect delays like this and at least be treated with compassion or like an actual human… Nothing in life is guaranteed. I understand things aren’t always go the customers way. However, the attitude of your workers and staff can go a long way to help alleviate some of the issues that arise..On a good day, the customer service at this location is poor at best.

I arrived at pharmacy drive thru at 1415 24th Ave, Meridian, MS 39301 at 7:57pm just wanted to pick up medicine. Ring bell as I pulled a white female lady was on the phone passing the window. I was not acknowledge at all. I understand if someone couldn't be filled at that time but I just wanted to pick up. From looking in the window you could see registers off before 8pm which is closing time. Registers are not supposed to close down before 8pm. I see why this site has a 2.9 star rating.

Friendly staff both in the pharmacy and on the store side. The guy that works the front counter has exemplary customer service. The pharmacist is exceptional, he goes out of his way to make sure you get what you need and are well informed.

Pharmacy staff not professional at all. Hannah tries to keep you from talking to the pharmacist by screening the calls. Shes very rude, I dont think she realizes that shes working for the same ppl she is rude and condescending to. Michael is very professional and nice. If it weren't for him we would probably change.

Worst experience ever! Walked in and wasn't greeted by a single person. Get to the pharmacy and stood there for a few minutes before I was acknowledged, I was looked at a couple times but not spoken to. When she finally speaks she had the worst attitude. Not once did she go over my medications nor did she ask me if I knew how to take them or anything. When it came time to pay, I informed her I had the Good Rx app and her response was "ugh. This is gonna have to be voided out now. You're gonna have to wait." If that wasn't bad enough, the entire time we were waiting she was complaining about her boss. Sorry excuse of an employee honestly

This is the worst so called drug store I have ever used. I called the store and asked if my meds were ready. They said yes. I drive almost an hour to get there and the "system" is down. My meds were already paid for. I asked couldn't they just give them to me now. No we can't was the answer. She was holding my meds in her hands. We have to scan them out. This isn't the first problem I have had here. They are slow and lazy. I will be changing ASAP.

Scheduled me for a shot at 1pm. I got there at 12:55pm. Waited for 10 minutes while others had been waiting for over 30 from what I heard. One of the workers asked who was there waiting for a shot, we raised our hands, and they announced they wouldnt be resuming until after 2pm. I took off work for this. I'll never deal with Walgreens again. Pathetic excuse for staff.

Went to pick up some online photos that were ready according to email. Everything was scattered amongst in photo area and it took the clerk a while just to find what I was talking about. No greeting from employees, just a “do you have you Walgreens card.” The store is also heavily overpriced compared to other retailers. Would not recommend.

We pulled up to the drive-thru pharmacy at 7:45 pm after an emergency doctor visit for our 4-year-old. We waited behind the one other car for 8 minutes, and finally got to the window at 7:53. The lady refused to take our prescription because the pharmacy closed at 8 pm, and she said it would take at least ten minutes to fill it. We tried to tell her we had a sick child that needed medication, but she just shrugged her shoulders and sarcastically said "sorry." She argued with us for another three minutes. Rude service and no compassion.

After going to 2 other pharmacies I'm Meridian and being turned away Bacause they don't fill they medication that I was prescribed, we went to Walgreens on 24th ave. They agreed to fill my prescription but my prior authorization still had not gone through. . I had been inpatient and the nurse sent in my prior authorization a week before. The pharmacist on staff went well out of his way to make sure I had enough medication to last me until Tuesday without charging me the $40 that the 3 pills would have cost me. I'm very satisfied with this location and thankful that this gentleman was working this day. He deserves a raise!

Drive thru has been closed all week for no reason. Wait 40 minutes in side for them to tell me to come back in 45 minutes. Return 3hrs later and wait in line 50 minutes for them to tell me they don’t have the medication in stock! Livid!!

Worst pharmacy super slow in person or on the phone. Waited 2 hours on the phone to just be hang up on. Drove to the store to wait a hour in line just to get a refill on a call in.

Absolutely horrible service!!!! Was staying w my grandmother in the hospital and left my medication at home....I had another prescription that was due the next day had it in my hand...had nothing to hide and this old grumpy man says bc of his expert opinion he wouldn't fill it....Ummm hello don't think your my doctor...such an inconvenience so not helpful..had to leave my grandmother and drive 5 hours round trip to get my meds.I despise big headed pharmacist
