Do not go to their pharmacy! They’re overworked & every single one of the staff behind the counter in the pharmacy is rude if you start asking questions or confront them with confusion. I sat on the phone for 45 minutes with one caller ahead of me. So I drove up there only to be told “it’s not ready yet” when I dropped it off at 10:30 am!!! It was 5pm when I showed up for it. Then of course, per the usual, I was spoken to rudely because I started asking questions.The window is closed down & has been down for weeks!I won’t be using them any longer. At least hire some people that can handle the stress of the place since they won’t figure out a better system. I’ve been patient with them for months!!! Had enough.

Amanda the pharmacist on shift is very rude and hung up the phone on me. They did not have my grandmothers medicine and after 3 weeks did not even order it after they said it would be a week. She was condescending and hurtful to her. She went to Walmart and got it the same day. She had to script from her doctor. Amanda is rude, arrogant, and judge mental. I hope this review gets to the right person.

This has to be the worst service I’ve ever seen. I sat on hold for 55 minutes only to get disconnected with one caller ahead of me. Called the store and they left the phone ringing for 10 minutes. So I drive to the store only to be asked if I wanted to wait for it??? Why do I have to wait for something that was phoned in by the doctor 4-5 hours ago???So now I’m on minute 10 waiting. The pharmacist or whoever was at the front said he was sorry they were backed up but then would get me taken care of. Then HE LEFT FOR THE DAY!!!!What nerve!! From now on I will drive 35 miles to another location instead of waiting while I have a sick grandson for people that just flat out don’t care!

I am not happy with the poor handling of my prescription transfer by this pharmacy. Despite patiently waiting for 1.5 hours to speak with a pharmacist and informing them about a missing prescription during the transfer and refill process, my prescription has still not been filled after six days and multiple visits… As a new customer, this experience has left me extremely dissatisfied.

The absolute worst pharmacy I have ever used. If they cannot keep up traffic, then you need to stop accepting prescriptions, or at the very least call at let the customer know it’s going to take more than a day to fill a prescription. Everyone inside the store is great and polite, but the pharmacy is atrocious. Use someone else.

Last few times I was there prescription was not filled after being called in 2 days prior. The last time I couldn't pick up a refill because of insurance even though I was out. And it was time to refill. I got one phone call 15 minutes after I left it was ready. Then another call about insurance not approving now I will not have my prescription for 10 days.

For the past month or so I’ve been attempting to use the drive thru. Only to get there and see “Drive Thru down”. So I go in and the line is way too long. They have 3 registers open and at least 3 people filling prescriptions. So what is the problem? I say it’s the poor attitude of the workers that are there that don’t want to be there. After coming to this Walgreens in North Hills 2 years, I have never seen anything like this. I gave 3 stars because I know they can do better.

Walked in store and pharmacy closed window on me as I was walking up to it. They walked out no remorse and said we open at 10 am. Now I see why they are rated 2.4 God doesn't like ugly. Their time will come.

Good parking lots of spaces. Clean and homey environment, Professional and helpful staff. Has a great variety of products. A lil pricey but its worth it. Small pharmacy wish it were bigger but it stays busy. Just a good and wholesome place to shop.

Have been waiting since September 16,2023 for my Farxiga. They still haven't gotten it in. Today is September 21. Don't know who's fault it is there but I am out. It shouldn't take this long to get medicine in. Checked FDA list of current medication shortage and Farxiga isn't on it.

Never again took all the strength I had after being lied to not to knock everything off the shelves. Don't trust them, they lie, they are under managed and will do anything to avoid having to work. Wait 4 hours for your medicine it may still be out of stock or computer may not be working

I filled a perscription for an NSAID topical gel yesterday at this Walgreens, and was told my insurance wouldn't cover the cost; I had to pay full price, which was very high. Later, I did some research and discovered this exact same gel is available OTC (over-the-counter) in this same store for 1/4th of the prescription cost. I called and explained this to someone in the pharmacy, and they confirmed this was all true. I requested that I bring the unopened box of gel back to the store to exchange it and was told I couldn't since it had "left the store" and I had no other options. So, lesson learned for me, and I'm telling everyone who reads this to always ask if a med you are prescribed is available OTC, and if it is, and the cost is less, cancel the prescription and buy the OTC, preferrably somewhere else other than this ripoff pharmacy.

They Need to come up with a game plan on how to move their pharmacy drive thru and how to answer the phone. I waited on hold literally a hour to inquire about my medicine from 7pm-8pm at 8 someone picked up and hung up the phone i guess ready to get off after moving slow as molasses all day

Walgreens has seriously dropped the ball this time. How can you tell me you’ve ordered the inhaler and given me a pickup date to find out that the manufacturer is out of stock. This isn’t some head cold, we’re talking about someone’s ability to breathe.Let’s not even get into the price tag for it being $625.59. That’s no refills or anything. Just a nebulizer solution. Does it contain sweat from the brow of baby Jesus? How are people supposed to afford this?What a horrific display of the healthcare system at its finest.

By far the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with, I've had a recurring prescription for 5 months, they've filled it on the right day the first time the prescription was put in, now on the 5th month they are 8 days late, have been called multiple times by me and Total Pain Care, I received a call 4 days ago saying they were out of stock and getting more, they were called again yesterday and today they call and are out of stock getting more!!! I've switched pharmacies and I think they should be investigated, because they are either selling their pill supplies out the back door or too incompetent to be open. Recurring prescription means it should be filled each month, on the 30-31st day after the last, which means you should have stock for the prescription every month the day it should be filled!!! 8 days late is so pathetic they should be shut down!!

What a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Walgreens store associate attempted to tell me SHE COULDN'T ship my package and that i would "have to drive to another location" because her "computer wasn't working! I saw it working! YOU have a contract with FedEx to uphold, and I"M SURE they would LOVE to hear this! Walgreens, can you stop hiring people who refuse to do their job and HAVE THEIR MINIONS INTIMIDATE ME? They have improved - that's the best that I can say. I have had problems with their not filling requested prescriptions on time, taking way too long with some customers in the drive through lane, instead of having them come inside or wait to go through the line again. Walgreens never seems to be able to contact my doctors for refills. They would claim that they had but checking with the doctor's office, they had not received any request from Walgreens. How long does it take for them to fax or email a request? They also request additional (unnecessary) verification for controlled substances - like, for example, post op meds, and this delays filling it for at least 24 hours. Forget that the patient is in pain - I guess that doesn't matter to them. But I have to say that there has been (some) improvement over the last six months or so. Less rudeness, less talking and laughing while customers are waiting.

I have never been to a slower more inefficient location than the location on North Hills. This is my second trip. Initially after waiting for more than 30 minutes in line no one came to the window. Thought I found a solution while waiting in home delivery. Set that up while waiting and left. Lo and behold I get a call saying I would still have to pick it up. So here I am waiting again. No other location has been this bad. I could drive to Branfon in this time.

I was in this Walgreens two different times yesterday, I had two different women helping me and both of them had very sorry attitudes. They both acted as if they we’re being inconvienced. Not once did I see either of them smile. I’m surprised that Walgreens even hired them. I live 5 minutes away from this store and I honestly probably won’t be returning for a very long time solely based off the customer service I received yesterday.

A manager there was so rude to my mother, it's ridiculous. This place has gone so down hill. One of the managers was complaining and fussing to my mom because she asked for a certain medication to be flavored (which is completely possible) Do not go here for your medicine and if you can avoid it don't go here at all. They are childish & rude.

came multiple times to get booster, always found ONE person behind glass doing drive thru AND counter, waited 15 min 3 different times. Decided to make appt. Im now past my appt time plus 15 min early they asked me to be. AGAIN ONE person handling window, counter & bathroom break. I'll move on to Winn-Dixie from now on

I came in this location around 8:30am to pick up meds that was ready yesterday. I drive up to the drive thru window and a signs reads drawer is broken sorry for the inconvenience but please come inside. No problem I go to the pharmacy counter in the back and the shutters are down but I hear people talking and laughing so I go up front and ask the cashier what time does the pharmacy open ? She explains 9:00 ,I explain that’s almost 30 minutes and with all other business openings earlier for the convenience for the customers due to the Convid virus I really need to pick up the meds. She calls management who’s name is Jeremy and tells him the situation he looks at me and says Our Pharmacy opens at 9:00 and walks off. So I walked out and plan on having all people that I pickup meds for move to a different pharmacy where business is appreciated and the customer is still important.

We are from out of state. My wife became ill and required a prescription. In attempts (x7) to call this pharmacy using 2 different phone numbers for this specific location, I was hung up on each time! In having a background in health care and realizing the needs of those who require medical intervention, I most certainly found this to be a unprofessional, despicable action! The day prior I was in this same pharmacy to make a purchase and the cashier acted as if we were a burden! I feel a review of 2.7* out of 5* is extreme! I have yet to place a call to coporate but don't worry, I have that number on speed dial! I proceeded to call the CVS pharmacy located on the opposite corner and was dealt with the utmost respect, and our required needs were met accordingly. Thank You CVS; SHAME on you Walgreens!

Eileen in the Cosmetics Department was very helpful and nice. She gave me a lot of info about the other La Roche- Posay products and samples along with my purchase of La Roche-Posay serum. I can tell she knew about facial care because asked about sunscreen. I will be coming back to shop with her!

Sold me bad ginger ale, my husband bought 3 ginger ales from here, they all tasted like medicine was on them or they went bad, I called before I came in & spoke with a so called “Manager” told me sure come in we will replace them, I walked in asked for a manager & told him what happened, he had no idea of what I was talking about, okay he went to find somebody else (so far 10 minutes in) another manager came out, asked me what date did I buy them, what register, what time and how many (I brought the product back in the store with me) I told her i explained all this on the phone to you guys, I don’t have the receipt, this is why I called before I came in, basically nothing got done and I’m stuck with poisoned ginger ale
