I enjoy the reasonable pricesthe variety. but sometimes items are out of stockI also think the Dollar General stores can use an extra employee to help keep the stores. StockedWell. All Dollar General stores need to be a little more considerate on working their employees too hard trying to do too many things at one time

The store was a bit in disarray and my cart caught on a peice of shelving wire hanger. There was only one employ and she was very kind, helpful and pleasant. I do think you all need a few more employees though.

I went in to get some hair products for my daughter's hair and they had their Cantu products stocked so I was able to get everything I went for. The store was clean and shelves were organized. The cashier was friendly and checkout was a breeze.

I have no complaints at all, the two ladies working there were very friendly and vert sweet. An they were absolutely amazing, when I stopped in I hadn't realized that they were about to close for the night ad one of the ladies working there happen to been standing outside the door. I got out my truck an asked were you closed and she had said they were In two mins. Well, I was like well I jus go some other store because I only needed a couple of two liter drinks an a gallon of milk and I didnt want any inconvience for them because it was almost 10 pm and I'm sure they were ready to go home and all. But, the lady out side told me it's ok come on inside an d get what you need. And they allowed me to get what I needed inspite of them getting ready to close up for the night. I was very thankful for that. I don't know the name of that lady outside at that time wish I would had thought to her name to place it in this comment here, jus know she was a pretty blonde lady and a very kind one at that. I'm thankful for her costumer service here at Dollar General in Mendenhall,MS. Thank you goes out to her from me James Perrette ,a happy costumer no doubt. A moment I won't forget ever .. thank you so much!!!!

The one in mendenhall use to be nice. But every time I go in there they are out of what ever I'm looking for. Or it's just not put out yet one of the aisle is aways filled up with containers needing to be put out. U really have to watch milk and eggs dates are out most of the time.

Dollar general is one of my most favorite places to shop. Everything is reasonably priced and I especially love when they get in their new seasonal decorations and what nots. I used to work at the one on hwy 28 and the manager is a doll of course. Would do anything she can to help a customer.

The Woman's Restroom was Hideous. I had to put extra toilet paper on every surface of the toilet seat that I was going to sit on. There was no toilet paper on the dispenser, it was left out. There was Hydrogen peroxide on the back of the toilet. The floors were filthy. But the sink was most horrific... I had to use a paper towel to turn on the water & switch it off when I was done. I also had to use a paper towel to turn the handle on the door to exit the restroom. This restroom was a "Disgrace"!!!If I could rate it "No Stars"... that would be my Rating!!

They have terrible customer service at the Mendenhall location. Today* went in to pick up a couple of items at 12 noon. And the little girl supposed to be checking people out was helping the guy that delivered chips and scanning in the shipment. Never said nothing to us and she was right there no way she couldn't have not noticed us. The guy told her to go ahead and check us out and she said no. We walked out and i will not step back in there. Will do my businessAcross the street from now on.

As many stores that they have built in the pass 5 years their lines stay long and the store is never stocked always empty shelves. That's a good thing for them and bad for the customer...other than that I'm starting to look at them like Walmart!!😂😂

Always a mess there. Can't walk down the isles cause all the carts full of products that need to be put on the shelf. They need more workers. Very nice employees that do work there.

It's rare for me to write a bad review but here goes. I am not a dollar general fan. Management can make good employees look bad and that is the case here. Bad management

They are still hiring new people I think but it's getting better. Still a little unorganized and a mess but not like it was. Keep moving forward your get there.

Store is very messy. When using digital coupons the claim they can't make them attach but I've been in stores that have put it in manually. It hardly ever have what you need when you need it.
