Beautiful Town! Under construction Due to the New Found Fame. Navigation was an Issue. But Overall Towns Folk were Friendly and Charming! Enjoyed some of the Best Fried Chicken I ever had at Pearl's. And A Fabulous meal at the Blue Crab Grill. Would Love to come back and check on progress.

Doubt I’ll ever travel through Mississippi so I went there via Google Maps. Roof of Ben’s wood shop seems sturdy and presentable. Disappointed I didn’t see, or couldn’t make out, the Home Town couple waving at the satellite as it took its picture of my favorite town in Mississippi. By the way, I can spell Mississippi without looking it up. I learned it from a cartoon back in the day: “mis-sis-sippi. It used to be so hard to spell it used to make me cry.” Five stars for Laural, Mississipp and Home Town!!!

Laurel has changed a lot since our first visit. It is even more vibrant and we'll be making another trip when we can stay longer to really see everything and search for those unique finds tucked away in some of the lesser known shops.

The shops are good and the people are nice. The streets are tore up so it's difficult to navigate. I will go back once they get repairs finished.
