Where do I start at! The quality of the meat in the meat department is honestly a surprise no one has died due to the expired meats there. Second the manager of the deli is rude as all get out towards the staff and guest and her upper management condones the behavior and I have a friend who used to work in the deli and let me in on a secret of why you don't want food from the deli they clean the dishes in straight bleach water and stack chemicals on top of the clean dishes and food products, then after cleaning dishes they clean the raw chicken in the same sink along with any other food that needs to be washed in the same sink as the raw chicken, there is mold growing up the walls in the ceiling and not to mention they have one big fryer vat that they fry the bleach soaked chicken in along with the seafood and rarely ever change the oil and they don't get shut down by the Mississippi health inspector because they get a heads up phone call of when the inspector is on the way to the store so it all gets swept under the rug there is good staff other than the deli manager and the older white lady that has been there forever who lets the deli manager behave the way she does the store manager is cool to an extent but with the behavior I have seen and also heard about from my friend who worked there the deli manager should be fired immediately as someone who worked 20+ years in the business including as a manager if my department manager acted like that to staff and customers id fire her on the spot it's unacceptable behavior

Nice spot to shop....Love the Deli Area I Got Peach Cobbler it was so good...I also tried the Chicken and brown gravy..as well as some grilled,chicken ..it had it's own favor..very good thoTHIS is a good place to stop by on lunch a🍛🍝🍗 grab some great tasting soul food....The sistas in the back cook very well ....

Friendly and professional staff. The manager, Wayne Frison, is great and shows he loves working to ensure each trip you make there is great. We just purchased our Christmas tree there and I recommend anyone else to do the same.

I liked it better when it was Sunflower. They made it a new brand and made their prices 10% higher. I used to buy my steaks there for $19.29 lb. i called to ask what the price was for the steaks and they said $19.29 plus the 10% at the register. Forget that! Go to Turners Downtown!

I like sunflower food store been shoping there.for years just like Mama an Dady did Many items there you just can't find elsewhere not to mention old friends like Jason Fleming and Grace also Rosie.in deli an Barbra is nice .it's like going home again!

Best place in town to grocery shop. I shop not only for the value ,but for the friendliness of the employees, and also, they carry my groceries out to my car. Carry my groceries for me is a tremendous tremendous help and most appreciated.

Spacious and fully stocked. Please check your meats not always fresh. I don't like the 10percent over cost.
