It was exactly what we needed. A kind, knowledgeable Veterinarian whose prices are more than fair. I believe Dr. Calvert does this job because he wants to help animals and solve problems, not to bleed every penny out of an anxious animal parent who is just desperate for answers and a solution. My 9 1/2 year old GSD had been suffering from a skin disorder since I adopted her as a puppy. No one has been able to diagnose her until we went and saw Dr. Calvert. Now the office is nothing fancy by any means, but that will not hinder my return in any way shape or form.

Dr. Calvert has been our Vet for several years. He is the absolute best at everything he does. It is obvious that he truly cares for the animals and their owners. He has spoiled us and I can’t imagine taking my pets to a different Vet!! Thank you Dr. Calvert and staff for all you do!!

Took my pup to get spayed yesterday. They were very gentle with her and she seemed very happy when I picked her up this morning, but the main thing I want to talk about is their attention to detail. My pup is a rescue and we havent had her for very long. She came to us very dirty and flea ridden and we have been trying to get rid of her fleas to no avail, as she has a thick coat and it's hard to get topical treatments in her fur. I was going to talk to Dr. Calvert about some prescription strength flea treatment this morning when I picked her up, but I had no need. They brought me some medication when they brought her to the car. The fact that they noticed her fleas and took care to make sure they provided me with treatment speaks volumes to the level of care that they have for the animals they treat. I highly recommend taking your animals to Dr. Calvert. It is worth the drive from Meridian for us!

My 1.75 pound puppy was really sick. I took him to another local vet who gave him a shot and stopped his upset stomach but did not treat the underlying issue. When I came here the Vet immediately recognized that my puppy had a parasite. I drove from Meridian because I heard that he was a great Vet and very affordable. I highly recommend this Vet! Thank you for taking excellent care of my baby.

Called about every hour to see when our dog could be seen. They refused to call us when they were ready and kept asking us to call every hour. They finally let us bring her an hour before closure. They said she had mange and did not have ANYTHING to treat her with, meanwhile she started scratching to the point she was bleeding. By this time, it was too late to bring her anywhere else. They said the medicine could be there next week. THIS IS ALL TRUE, I urge you to reconsider going there. That is my first and last experience with them. Just a heads up, if you still decide to go there, they only take cash, no cards. The only good side is they are cheap. The visit was only $30. However, I basically feel ripped off financially and with my time.

You can not find a more caring veterinarian than Dr. Calvart. We drive over 40 miles to see him when we could go to a clinic 2 miles from us. He is the best! His staff is very friendly also.

Dr. Calvert is a fine Veternarian. There are many great vets in Meridian but I prefer Dr. Calvert above the rest. It's worth the drive to Dekalb but quality care. I frequently board my two dogs out with him and it's always a great experience. His prices are reasonable and he really has a big heart for your pet and other animals.

Before I brought my dog to Dr Calvin, going to the vet was a nightmare for me and my pet. The care here is exceptional and affordable. I call Dr Calvin the dog whisper. My dog went from being terrified of vets to being very calm when we go to the vet
