This was a good store up until recently. Now it's filthy and the karts full of merchandise that hasn't been put on the shelves block the isles. Some of the coolers haven't worked in months. Discusting.

In most cases a convieniant place to shop, but not always stocked with the items in need at the time !! & they seem to be "Shorthanded" on available personnel almost any time of the day/night !! I understand the requirement to keep labor costs at a minimum to insure prices are kept as low possible in inventory but it defeats the purpose if you can't get the stock on the shelves to sell because your personal are busy checking out or assisting customers !!

I had a bad Experience with this dollar general not in person but by telephone, so I called to ask a question about Fedex shipping at their location. When I called I thought I had the wrong number because what ever male was working on 8/19/2020 answered the phone by just saying hello like it was his personal phone. I then asked was this dollar general? His response was "yea". That is the wrong way to answer the phone at a place of business without even greeting me and saying " hello hi this is dollar general my name is and how may I help you". They need to teach employees what good customer service is.

Was relaxing I could take my time .alot of diffrent brands to pick from .always clean most all workers are friendly.this store is in raleigh ms. Went to the one in magee about 2 years ago .was the worst experience in my life .because i reached in my purse handed my son a dollar .The law was called . i had my buggy full almost ready to go check out one of the workers came to me said i needed to come to the frount of the store .i never would have thought i could have been treated and accused of shop lifting .It was friday afternoon people i knew was there and was up front when i got up there .they searched my purse had to pour everything out .the cop at first was not to nice but once he seen i had nothing he turned to the two workers that had done this and said she had nothing in her purse .one said to the other you said she put something in her purse.the other said .I Tought she did . she had told me a coustomer. Reported i put something in my purse . right as we got to tbe frount in the back would not tell me why ..they wanted me up frount.its been 2 years are more i don't shop there and i still get upset thinking how i was treated like i was humilated in frount of the people of a town i grew up in .that know im not and ive never took things from a store are a person . i do have respect for other people and there stuff.has any one else been treated like that in the same store ? Esther seems that i should have had my rights of being falsely accused .but nope its all legal .what kind of legal system do we have .its took a long time for me to even. Tell about this now it still affects me when i shop .Esther Phillips

Only gave a 1 star so I could even write my review. I personally had an ok experience. However, my mother and Aunt was treated lile trash and were both paying customers. The manager was a younger girl and I joked with her before asking to use the restroom...she at first went to tell me that it was out of order but then told me to come on. (Like they just say that because they do not want to give the key out.) I guess the manager as well as the cashier didn't know I was with my mom and Aunt...because they both asked at different times to use the restroom...and was both told no. So it seems to me they pick and choose who can and cant use the stores public restroom. WHICH IS DISCRIMINATION! And before anyone jumps on my review and throws out their opinions we are white and the manager was a younger white girl and the cashier was a younger African American girl. So this is not about race! It is about being unfair picking and choosing and being judgmental.

This store is very dirty and not stocked. Items are on roll carts sitting in the isles.
