This is not a coffee place review. This is a lunch review. Ordered the Smokin' Swiss Pig Panini. It missed the mark. No lettuce or tomatoes, just ham, cheese, honey mustard, and the croissant...very basic. Potato salad was okay but just basic. The dessert, a chocolate triangle thing was good. It had a taste that was very pleasant and satisfying.A drink, sandwich, small cup of potato salad, and the dessert was $16Love the theme and really was hoping for a new lunch spot in a limited town like Carthage. Will try it again and try something different but first impression was not overly impressed.

Super cute, cozy little place. I had the pulled pork on sourdough with baked beans. It was delicious! I also ordered a caramel frappe. It was my favorite. Everything in the store was so clean and the staff was beyond nice. I'll definitely be back!

James and John are always so gracious. Today I was craving some Earl Grey hot tea and James suggested I try the London Fog version of it and it was delicious! I love that they provide Wi-Fi for their customers as well. Their upper room is such a great space as well to hang out, read, or work on your computer. I do kind of wish they had regular stairs to get up there but that's only because I don't trust my old knees on that beautiful spiral staircase. So far, Proverbs Coffee is my favorite place in Carthage.

It's a lovely little spot. The inside is very small so try the drive through to avoid a crowded setting. I tried their lattes and I can say as someone who loves espresso but is very picky that this is a good coffee spot. Smooth without a grainy after taste like so many places have. The temperature was perfect so I didn't have to let it cool (which shows the thought and effort they put into their product). I loved the friendliness of the staff (they were very helpful and easy to talk with). I tried the pulled pork panini and I can tell you it will be an instant classic.A little pricey (but mild compared to a lot of coffee shops), but its worth it for the service and quality (and variety) you get.I dont have to get into the amazingness that is spoonfudge (I hope😂) but if you havent tried it, please do.A must try if you're in the area!

Cutest little Cafe!The staff is super nice.The food was great and fresh.Be sure to treat yourself to their yummy spoonfudge!Definitely will be back many times!

Amazing cappuccino I had bring a little extra cash for some the menu options but hey it’s something different and I felt like they need more marketing because of the location it’s sitting in but it’s a great spot. 🙂
