I am a former employee of this location, and placed an online order today. Working for them before, I know they bag their items for DG Curbside or pick up and have them ready to go. Instead, the manager left all items out without bags in a cart and when my husband asked where the cart was, they chose to talk to him in a degrading tone of voice saying “Behind you!” But only after she had another worker alert her that my order was being picked up in the first place, as my husband overhead them say something along the lines of “that order is here”.I’d love to leave feedback on the purchase alone, however I am waiting for them to mark my order as “picked up” so I can leave them a review there.I was otherwise able to get some good savings, and they had all of the correct products. However, because of the disrespectful actions of their manager, and how unprofessional the whole transaction was, I would recommend trying another Dollar General if you can.

Wonderful gem to have in town! Store hours, selection, prices, and service are excellent! I love the digital coupons offered and I can get in, get what I need, and get out without congested aisles and check out lines, and it's always fun to chat with the employees that are so friendly and helpful. These guys are awesome!!!

The staff here is friendly and helpful. The products are priced well compared to their neighboring grocery store. I give it 3 stars though because they don't keep up with their food inventory. There is often big gaps on the shelves where a product has run out and they take too long to refill the order. Mostly when it comes to snack foods, and soda being their biggest miss. The soda isle is often empty of most brands. If it weren't were the lack of consistent stock I would give it 5 stars. But I often have to make an extra trip to the store next to them to get what they were lacking.

Had a little bit of a last minute emergency where I had to load money onto my card late at night. I basically ran to DG where a lady (glasses & hair in a pony ) & a tall slender bald man were waiting by the door to lock up. She cracked the door & I asked if they could still send money it was impor---She cut me off and said...."we do but not this late, we close in 1 minute. I took a screen shot it was 9:57. SMH.

2nd time I've gone here asked for 1 dollar extra in quarters and been told no.1st time dude said he didn't have enough and today he simply said couldn't do that but when I looked at his till full slot of quarters.Just trying to get laundry done without making multiple stops but if cant get it done here guess ill just shop elsewhere

What can I say. That store is fabulous. Friendly, and caring employees. They love there job and it shows. Kansas City dollar General stores are horrible and in disarray. Koodos you all.

I needed to be in Wells 1 day for a funeral. I stopped by the Dollar General store only to be treated rudely by the store manager. I asked a couple of questions and she seemed as it was a bother to answer my inquiries. She treated me rudely when I purchased my 3 items, and will never shop there again. The store managers name was Shantell, hopefully she won't be for long.

The dollar general in wells mn has some very wonderful workers especially rose gusan she's always smiling no matter what and is absolutely amazing.
