Great place to stop! If you are on your way to the ski hill, or camping in areas close by you will be able to buy your favorite main stream brands and some local offerings. BWCA approved packaging options are available. Beer, wine and hard liquor; as well as mixers are sold here. I have stopped in occasionally over the last 10 years and always been treated well, and never disappointed with choices on offer. Temperance Liquors is our local "off sale" of choice by Tofte, Schroeder and Lutsen. I like that they have a wine that raises funds for shelter dogs. Very helpful locally owned small business. There is a gift shop attached with a variety of gifts and has cute pet centered items and cool giant stuffed toys. You can also ask about cabin rentals but plan well ahead for summer weekends and vacation times. Right now as we exit the Winter season and get ready for Spring the opening hours are 9am - 7pm.
