We stopped here for lunch after hiking to a few local state park water falls! Everyone agreed that their food was amazing! The pizza crust was light and airy and the Caesar salad had a nice amount of good lettuce and chicken! The quesadilla was made with a seasoned tortilla making is extra good and the sub sandwich bread was soft! We also enjoyed the espresso malt which was amazing and the kids had vanilla malts and a strawberry malt! They had very good service considering Covid has caused a bunch of changes to everything! I highly recommend stopping here for a bite when you are in the area!

Very close to Temperance. The pastries and coffee are excellent here. I stop here every year during my camping trip. Very friendly people.

Coming back from BWCA, stopped here to get a quick sandwich that would be better than gas station but not break the bank at fancy cafes. Very friendly staff and talked about their bwca experience. Quick, good and simple. Definitely would stop by again for a quick bite to go.Roast beef sandwich, chips and pop for 11 bucks.Parking: Parking right in front

We were looking for a gluten-free breakfast, and they offered to make us gluten-free BREAKFAST pizzas with the GF crust they use! It had salsa, scrambled egg, bacon, sausage and cheese. Delicious!!! 🥚🥓🧀☕️💛 🍕Our dairy free Mochas were great also! Great food and great service!!!I also got stung by a bee while eating in their outdoor area, and the the owners mother went to get us some Benedryl at a nearby gas station. (Our RV was back at the campsite, so we had no transportation) Above and Beyond service!!! 😀🍕 ☕️ 👍🏻🍁🐝🌞🍂

DELICIOUS pizza and shakes! We had a Gluten Free pizza as well (not pictured - devoured too quickly) and the crust was good: chewy but crust had a little crunch - perfectly done. Very friendly staff. A must stop along the North Shore!

Ok, food. We had cold sandwiches, the bread was nice and fresh but the meat was not of the best quality. Kids had a cheese quesadilla and said it was" pretty good." The bakery items all looked very tasty. Overall, it was a good place to grab something quick on our way to other activities. The outside waiting area was a very nice place for an afternoon picnic with the kids!

We stopped in on our way to Thunder Bay looking for bread, but bought cookies as an afterthought when they didn't have bread.Oh my goodness! We had to come back to get a dozen of them! We loved the lemon cookies. I'm a person that doesn't like sweets, and these were so subtle and tangy and just perfect little cookies. The bagels and breakfast sandwiches were really tasty too.

Schroeder Baking Co is a mandatory stop for our family whenever we visit the North Shore. The maple pecan danish, cinnamon rolls, caramel rolls, and scones are all amazing and have fueled my family through many North Shore mornings. The owners are super friendly and we look forward to seeing the same familiar faces every time we visit. Highly recommended.

İt is local bakery. You can have a breakfast but you can go early. You have to try their pizza. We love it. It has not place inside. You wait for take out but their services is very fast.

What an awesome little place! Great coffee, and delicious breakfast sandwiches. The best part though was the lovely ladies behind the counter. Had a great conversation while we waited for our food. Highly recommend that you stop in when you are in the area.

I have had their pizzas several times, and they are very good. The thick and thin crust are both delicious, and they use good quality sausage. Their breakfast pastries are also solid.

The bread makes the sandwiches an excellent choice. Their salads are great also. The kids gave the malts and shakes rave reviews and I concur. It was a great stop after the Alpine Slide at Lutsen on the way back towards Duluth. The service was great and we ate at an outside table under a tent.

This is one of my favorite places every time I’m up north. Their vegetarian nachos are my favorite nachos hands down compared to anything anywhere. They also make a great calzone. Service is friendly and kind. I even mentioned how I always time my departure to try and arrive by 7pm so I can order nachos for dinner and they suggested if I call ahead they will have them ready for me. Great service!
