I suppose all grocery stores do this but it drives me nuts. HyVee is frequently doing this. In the picture you'll note Heinz ketchup 32 oz for $6.99 and 38 oz for $5.99. why the tricky pricing? Also watch the prices, it doesn't always ring up at the posted price.

We used to love this store but we are about done with it. Over the last year we have had, in this order - spoiled "fresh squeezed" orange juice, blueberries that got mold the next day and had to be tossed, moldy bread, a super bone dry cupcake from the bakery, and the last straw was we just ordered a cake for my child's birthday. We have always ordered the almond wedding cake frosting for our cakes for years and this time we were told no, they were no longer allowed to do that. Fine, we decided to try the regular frosting which was just ok. But $38 for a pretty basic, nothing special cake with toys put on top was way overpriced. We will make our own cake next year and probably do a lot better. Just too many things gone wrong to continue shopping there.

I always have sticker shock when I go there! But, I enjoy going to pick up some Asian food that is always hot and fresh. Plus, the London Broil meat in the deli is truly a treat. I also wish I could get their new app but for some reason it won't work cause of an issue with the first time I tried it.

Staple in the community. I’m impressed that shelves were stocked instead of the turkey bacon/turkey items. Fun area with “The Candy Store” so many options for people that have a sweet tooth. Dedicated area for pets with an extensive catalog of treats and items. Health/wholeness is a key focus at this location. Great visit

This store is always bright and clean. Prices are between Cub and Walmart, in my experience. Staff are always friendly and often remember faces. Easy to find my way around the sections. *Update 2024: clothing section was replaced to expand seasonal, paper, baby, and cleaning products. Self checkout is available but the scan and go is gone*

Still over priced. Just be aware of prices. It has gotten better with corect prices ringing up, though.Was there Friday and took a video. They staged the pretzel bites with the hawiian slider buns. The buns were 3.99. The pretzel bites were 8.00!!! Please watch the register when you buy from here. They PURPOSELY make it look like things are a different price than what they are.

Amazing selection of fresh produce. Excellent deli and meat counter with knowledgeable staff. We've been very satisfied with the bakery too. Could rate higher but many products are simply not competitively priced.

This hyvee is amazing! They have such a good selection of everything! The prices are great and the products are top quality. Loved the Basin section. I worked with the representative who was SUPER knowledgeable about the soaps and bath bombs and all things Basin. I love the concept of shampoo and conditioner bars and trying to use less plastic in day to day life. Wonderful store!! Highly recommend!

Went to HyVee today and sadly they no longer care about happy customers. Only one register open and a line. I had a cart full and couldn’t wait so reluctantly did self checkout. Thank goodness we still have Cub and Byerlys. I will be doing my shopping there. Also only Thursday is the day that will apply for gas rewards. It’s obvious they no longer care, it’s very sad

This store was absolutely insane. (In a Good way)😊😊😊The food here looks amazing, the prices are average and the staff was fantastic.I am so happy that Hy-Vee is opening so many more new stores. I can't believe everything they have to offer now. One stop shopping at it's finest.

Lots of variety. Huge store, pizza bar, sushi bar, large bakery and deli. Many specialty items, including gluten free goodies! Also lactose free dairy products.

This is a very impressive store. It has a little of everything. Clothes, a massive cosmetics department, fresh produce, bakery, butcher, and much more. It even has a restaurant of sorts with deli, grill, Mexican, hibachi, smoothie, and sandwich style shops! There is also a Starbucks and a Caribou both. It has a fun, very clean, market feel. Pricing for groceries is about on par with Cub foods and Target, and more expensive than Walmart and Aldi, but it has more unique foods that you can’t find it easily other places. This store is well-stocked, even in very busy times. In addition, they keep everything very well organized. At peak times it can feel a little crowded. If I lived nearby I would shop here exclusively! Neat!

I love Hyvee I do, however I know not to go to it for anything pantry, too few options. And stay away from all those cakes etc in the donut counter, old and stale. Meat counter is great.

Impressive! The first thing I notice about this is the parking lot seems to be always full, but until I finally found a spot I noticed some parking spots that you don't seem daily. For example, the Have spots for veterans and electric hybrid vehicles.Once inside, you see variety. Choice produce, grocery selections, sit down restaurants, meats, pastries and more. What really caught my attention was the clothing and makeup area, as almost like the first time seeing a grocery store inside a target but the opposite. Overall, the store defiantly peaked my interest and will be heading back periodically.

When to the store to shop found a really great print by and artist (local) that was there after shopping I could not reach the water I ask the cashier if someone could help me she got someone who promptly walked off to help another customer as I waited he than asked an older employee (elderly ) if he could get it which I thought was disappointing and disrespectful as the cashier ask him to get it he choose to bypass me and help someone else which is not the type of customer service I'm use to at Hy-Vee Alex do better

I will say the Mongolian barbecue is pretty good, but the Chinese food is horrible . The chicken is so dry that it tastes like it was freeze dried camping food that was not rehydrated properly. Hot sour soup is a favorite of mine but, Not here save your money. The cream of soups are listed for $3 unless on sale . Food cost is high and this place is a bit steep for what be you’re trying to do and that is save money. At this price point I could almost just eat out and have someone else cook it .

Our go-to grocery store for fresh seafood and high-quality beef.Love the bakery and their sesame rolls.Would love if they would eliminate the plastic bags, or at least provide more paper bags at the self-checkout (they are out most of the time).

This is an employee owned store, my 2nd visit to Hy-Vee. Food costs & so much better than AR. Also, there's no tax on food, period.The staff are amazing, stopping what they're doing, to direct or take shopper's where they need to go.Similar to Harps, also employee owned. We will be back.

Holy cow. I'm moving everything to another pharmacy and never shopping here again. Often out of stock. Had several prescriptions transferred here, several didn't make it. I asked for a refill of one, gave the manufacturer name. She said "you don't have that med in file". I called my previous pharmacy, confirmed it had been transferred. She didn't know the generic name. Every refill requires multiple phone calls!The groceries are so overpriced it's shocking. Winter to p/u a quick hot option... Every single food on that hot bar is frozen, canned. Seriously, you're going to open cans of corn, beans and charge that amount?! Fish, chicken all tastes mine chemicals b/c they are loaded with them. Same w cold prepared items. $12 for fettuccine. Tiny bits of processed chicken in pasta with some gummy canned sauce. Then they take things like their little crackers, put them into plastic clamshell co trainers and sell by the lb because we don't waste enough plastic!! Everyday grocery items are at least 40% more then Cub around the corner.I'm not talking about a few overpriced things, it a couple hot bar letdowns, I'm referring to **everything* there. I thought Hy-Vee was a better quality option, couldn't be more wrong!

I ordered my wedding cake and cupcakes from this location. EJ and her team are absolutely AMAZING!!! She created my dream wedding cake, every detail I described, it was perfect!! Delicious as well :D
