BEWARE! SELLING FOOD PRODUCED IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES (And its expired!)Just bought this bag 3 weeks ago. And it says 2023 and a date early in the year... its the expiration date! NOT WHEN IT WAS MADE(Todays date is 4/30/24)I support local businesses but recommending a dog food for sensitive stomaches which my dog repeatedly throws up!(I get that changing dog foods can cause puking, but not on this level)Is not cool at all.Ill never return here. Until you CLEARLY stamp the expiration date of all foods on the dog food bags.... The imprinted original labels aren't clear.If you shop here frequently for food and experience health issues in your companions/family-members look for the expiration dates.What a cruel place selling us expired food.To the owner:PLEASE STAMP EXPIRATION DATE in bold black ink on all bags in clear sight for consumers to see..This is scary.. It almost killed our dog.You're silently killing the dogs who don't puke up spoiled food :( and the owners just trust you.. Like i did

I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff are absolutely incredible - kind, exceedingly knowledgeable, and very helpful. They have a great selection of Steve’s Real Food, the brand that helped my dog’s skin issues, for both dogs and cats! As a multi-species home their suggestion to transition to Steve’s was life changing, I can buy it in bulk for a better price than other raw brands without sacrificing quality of ingredients AND I can feed it to both dogs and cats :) Thank you C&D Savage!!!!

Adding to the pile here....the staff is amazing, knowledgeable, and always helpful. The store is well stocked and clean. I've done everything from custom orders to consults for finicky or sick pets through the years and they always have useful suggestions and care about your pets. As a bonus they have cats up for adoption sometimes too.

I go here all the time because I live so close. Im familiar with most the people that work there. They are all so helpful! They have great product with wide variety and I love the deals you get as a member. They also help with pet adoption which is cool. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone! And my kitty would too :)

The Savage store staff is always EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful. We have three older dogs, all from rescues and some with some health issues, and we also foster. They are always able to give helpful hints on how to deal with food sensitivities; the occasional foster dog with non-stop poops due to a long trip up from somewhere south and all the other stress; and other issues we run into. The prices are reasonable and I like your deals and rebate program. I have a lot of choices on where to go for pet food, but choose Chuck and Dons because of the staff and quality of foods offered.

This is the best pet supply store I have ever been to. I am a new pet owner and I have been to many stores in quite a few states over the last 14 months, I have learned more about feeding and grooming in a short visit than I have learned in all the preceding months. In other stores, most clerks ignore you or maybe comment on your dog but that's it. I also noticed when other patrons came in here, they were greeted by their name. I do not doubt that I will be a customer for life. I wish more companies would look at how you do business. The world would be a better place.

Helpful staff with good knowledge of their products. Lots of stock considering the smaller size of the location. A bit over priced but does come with good advice that you won't find in the Wal-Mart pet aisles, which has some value if you are seeking it.

So the bag of food I needed was on the bottom of this brand new pallet and I didn't know what to do!! Anissa jumped into action! Moving all 800lbs of food just for me! Can't Thank her enough for the strength and hospitality she has!! Thanks again! See you in a month for more food and toys!

I enjoy shopping at Chuck & Don's. They go out of their way to take care of their customers. The staff consistently demonstrate product knowledge, a can-do attitude, professionialism, and friendliness. Their store is clean and well-organized. You can't get that at PetCo or PetSmart! I strongly recommend you do business at Chuck & Don's.Nothing but the best for Queen Bean!

We frequent Chuck and Don's storefront and online regularly for our girls. Recently I was in the Savage store working through some bowel issues my puppy was having and the Manager there was amazing - took 30 minutes to talk with me about the ways I can help and what products would work best. Almost 1.5 weeks later I've seen a complete turnaround. Staff is friendly, patient and knowledgeable!

I love this place! Super nice and helpful staff! They helped us make sure we got the right food for our dog. And told us if our dog didn't like it, we could bring it back! So far, our dog loves the food! 🤗 💕

Staff was friendly even though my dog was kind of a loud mouth that day. Really helped understand the difference between different dog food brands. I was able to get some cool locally made food that my dog really likes.

Top quality service and products across all Chuck and Don's but exceptionally personable and well knowledged staff at the Savage store. I'm passed by two other stores to go to this one in particular because I know whichever manager is on duty I can ask them anything about my pets and they're going to have the right answer. And if they don't have the right answer they will spend their own time researching it and getting back to me. If I could give more than five stars I would.

I was in the Savage store yesterday with questions about my elderly arthritic cat. The staff in the store were so knowledgeable and friendly and considerate! I left feeling a little more comfortable about my cat and what may be his last stages of life. I know that thanks to them he is already more comfortable! You should be grateful for a staff like this!

Positive people whom will go above and beyond for a costumer. They didn't have what I needed so they went to the backroom and checked and found duck's and chicken feet which they just received in shipment. :) my dogs appreciate that.
