Honestly, time-wise it’s better to go to any other Starbucks and be serviced and home faster than the Sartell one. They seem to have constant staffing issues and while online the store is advertised as open, they were closed with no one there in the morning. This is ridiculous. In addition to that, they are super slow. ALL THE TIME. You could be the only car in line waiting on one drink and it can take 15 minutes. If there’s other cars, don’t bother as you’ll get stuck for 45 minutes. I mean come on… something needs to be done. BBB report placed for false hours advertisement.

I came to this Starbucks location because another Starbucks was out of the peppermint mocha. When I pulled into the parking lot, I placed my order and the estimated wait time was between 9 to 12 minutes. That's reasonable, only it took twice that time, 23 minutes to be exact, to have my drink done. To make matters worse, two or three people after me got their drinks before me. I understand that they were busy, but 23 minutes just for a coffee is just too slow to me.

I've never seen a barita overreact as much as I did today. I asked for a drink without ice at the counter. I proceeded to tell the barista, making my drink that I wanted it without ice. They then slammed the drink down the sink and aggressively remade it, spilling everywhere, making the outside of the drink soaked. I won't be coming here again. It was a two ingredient drink, by the way

11/16/23 UPDATE: This team has been working hard over the past month since my previous post and made MAJOR improvements to customer service and speed! It is amazing to see what they’ve been able to accomplish in such a short time. They are more engaged and energetic. The level of communication with customers on drink order status has improved tenfold. Nice job and great work team! I would highly encourage anyone in the area to visit this store! As such, I’ve updated my review to 5-stars across the board!10/11/23: This place is PAINFULLY SLOW. Doesn’t matter if there’s two people in line or 20. Today, several people have walked out while waiting for their drinks. Mobile orders are taking 30+ minutes to get out. I ordered in store and have been standing here over 30 minutes waiting for my order. They just made an announcement that they aren’t taking in cafe orders because they’re too far behind and sent everyone to the drive thru. Seems like they have enough staff, but lack direction from the leadership. How frustrating.

This Starbucks location is SO INCONSISTENT. Their hours are constantly changing, one day the lobby is open the next day it’s not. They clearly have some major management issues going on. I visit this Starbucks religiously, atleast a few times a week as I work right across the street. I am not one to complain if it’s just a fluke incident but I have now had more than a handful of times where this store has been an absolute dumpster fire. 1. Shutting down online ordering 2.having the most random/inconsistent hours 3. Drink times take FOREVER. 4. LONG drive through line and wait times. It’s unfortunate they can’t get a handle on this store because it is in a great location. A corporate store should not have so many inconsistencies. This morning I ordered an iced coffee online through the app for a lobby pickup. I get there and the door is locked with a sign on the door saying use the drive through. Normally that would not be an issue but the line was 15+ cars long. I order online for the convenience that I can just run in and grab it and not wait in a long line. I’m not one of the people that has 30+ minutes to waste in a drive through line. I waved down an employee from the outside and they told me to call, so I call and they tell me to get in the drive through line. I’m sorry, just shut down your one line ordering completely because clearly they cannot handle it. Shut down the lobby permanently because one day it open, the next day it’s not. Most of us are paying $7+ for our drinks. It’s ridiculous to be getting this kind of service. It’s time a big wig pays a visit to the store to make some serious changes. I will be visiting competing coffee shops like Caribou until I hear about the changes being made at this store.

The upside is my drink tasted great. The downside is the drive thru speaker is super quiet and it's very difficult to hear the employee. Since my mocha latte tasted great, I'm gonna recommend this place.

I placed a mobile order for a little evening pick me up, location says it’s open until 7 perfect; I place the order at 5:50pm to leave plenty of time for the closers to do their responsibilities. I pull up to the drive thru at 5:54 and I wait no answer, I’m a patient person so I still wait also looking around to see if they have any signage posted about adjusted hours nothing. So I say “hello” twice. No answer I pull up to the drive thru window and well there’s the signage about adjusted hours. I don’t mind the fact we have to make accommodations for staff but update the app. I paid for my drink not knowing it was closed so now what. I call it rings & rings & rings and then they hang up on me because whoever is closing is hiding in back as you can see from the window from unfinished closing tasks. IE ice on the counter, etc. so not only did they hang up on me to try and resolve this issue of being charged and not getting my drink they never updated the app to change adjusted hours. If someone could contact me about getting my money back and have the team trained on better guest service to answer phones when they’re ringing when I know you’re still there.

As we walked up to the door there was toilet paper outside all over the ground. I soon found out why, walking in the restroom area there was toilet paper all around the first door. I used that restroom and I should have gone in the second door. The restroom was not clean, very gross to the point I had to clean the commode with hand sanitizer I had in my purse. The store was not very busy but there was a lady at the window she was not very much help to the other 2 workers. She just stood at the window the entire time my husband & I were in the shop. I heard her whole conversation along with giggles with whomever was in the vehicle at the window. She was not making drinks or anything going anything but giggling with the people in the vehicle. She was loudly talking to the person in that vehicle, I heard everything she was saying. There was one youngish lady at the register & one young lady making all the drinks. They were nice, but obviously perturbed & very rushed. I wanted to leave them a nice tip but I knew the young lady at the window would benefit from my generosity. The counter was so sticky, looked like it wasn't clean all day. There were spilled coffee drinks dried up near the tables, the tables were very dirty, and the restroom was grossly unclean and extremely smelly. I used to love getting my mocha there every time I would come into town but it's getting gross. And there is always a lady not doing her job while others run around trying to keep up. Now that Aldi is open, I would like to stop but I am afraid of what I will find. I used to love this location, it is right by the stores I frequent.Another story below.One time 3 weeks or so ago, the same youngish lady was there with one other person. She didn't move from the window, while the other worker made drinks, and was trying to keep up with the register. There were 4 people in line ahead of me & 2 behind me. 3 people left. I felt bad for the one person working alone while the short lady did nothing because there was not a soul in the drive-thru. Of course, the tables were dirty, the countertops and floors were so sticky, it was half-dried up frappuccino, and the restroom was so unclean, and smelly, that I dared not wash my hands. I used hand sanitizer to clean the commode and my hands.This location is new, but it's starting to look bad. I am thinking of going all the way to West Division Street, even though it is further away.

I was here on the super busy day that Kayla mentioned and the only reason I went was because it was my birthday and I got a free drink. Maybe they changed, but I seemed to read that you could only get the drink on your birthday. Caribou gives a week and Scooters gives a month. When I drove in I saw a line of cars almost all the way around the entire building so I figured that it may not be as bad inside, boy was I wrong! It was quite full of people standing waiting for their orders. Of course they figure that drive through is more important 😠. I waited over half hour and was one of the last inside to get my order. There were many many orders sitting there waiting to be picked up still. A few orders had been there almost as long as I had been waiting. Very frustrating.

Have been sitting in Starbucks for over 20 mins , i ordered two coffee drinks and a breakfast sandwich. 🙃 looked at their window time cars were waiting for only 7 mins I feel like they forgot about their lobby orders and worry about window times . Would never come back to this location . No one asked what my order was until 26 minutes after me waiting . After waiting 28 mins I was finally about to walk out the door with my two drinks and cold breakfast sandwich

We stopped on a Saturday evening on our way home from the cities at 5pm and tried to go through the drive thru. Nobody came to take our order so we tried to go in and the sign said the lobby was closed and to go through the drive thru. There was a staff person there so I tried calling but she did not answer the phone either and posted hours said it was open until 8pm.

Drinks were made well and fast. I stopped in at 8:45 on May 12th. The person that was working the drive-through was no pleasant. When taking my order through the drive-through, I felt like an inconvenience. And when I pulled up to pay with a credit card, I was trying to select a tip and they kept on saying “just tap”. I regret tipping because of that person. Which is in fair to all the hard-working people that were making the drinks. I’d highly suggest having a person with better customer service skills being the face of the drive-through.

Even when I order on the Starbucks app, I'm waiting 10+ minutes passed my estimated time. It would be longer if I didn't say anything and they bumped my drinks to the front of the line. When I order a drink in store and wait, it takes approximately 25-30 minutes. When I once asked for a refund because I could not wait any longer, I was told, "No, my drinks would be up shortly." Guess what, they weren't.

although the location is very convenient…I have tried many times to have this Starbucks redeem themselves being they are newer but they are always painfully slow no matter how busy it is…and I have never gotten a drink where my coffee does not taste burnt or like they killed the shot of espresso!
