My husband and I took our dog and cat to Root River Vet recently for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience from start to finish! Kristin up front was so pleasant, easy to work with and sweet, Carrie and Amanda were extremely intelligent, helpful, understanding, caring and so great! Dr. LeAnne was top notch, very thorough, shared plenty of information, took her time, and offered tips and tricks that my husband and I started to use right away when we got home! You won't be disappointed if you choose Root River Veterinary Center for all your animal's needs!

After losing our 18-year-old cat over a year ago, we had not felt ready to get another pet. In September, a stray kitten appeared in our back yard, hiding under our garden cart. After making sure the kitten didn't belong to anyone, we called Root River Veterinary Center for some initial advice to help calm the frightened kitten and adopted her. After a few weeks, we took her there for her first appointment. The doctors and staff were very quick but thorough in their evaluation so that Pippa was not too frightened. I have never had anything but great service at Root River Veterinary Center.Update: We recently had another appointment for Pippa. She is now over a year old. This appointment could not have gone better. Because Pippa was a feral kitten and has grown up during the pandemic, she is not used to any people other than us and is extremely shy of strangers. I was very nervous about how she might respond. Root River vet staff were wonderful with her, keeping things quiet, draping something over her head so she would feel safe, moving slowly so she would not be startled, and making the appointment as short as possible. It went extremely well, and I was greatly relieved that she did not seem afraid. I'm very pleased!

Amanda and Tyler are always helpful in getting Bullet to feel at ease when we are there. Dr Leann is very thorough and checks him over carefully and is great explaining everything she is checking for and tests he needs to have. Kristen at the desk is always welcoming and helpful. We love RRVC! Have taken our fur babies to them for over 15 years. The entire staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and they always seem to go the extra mile. Our animals love the attention and treats they get when we visit. Highly recommend!!

Sneaky is a stray cat, we didn’t know when we would be able to catch him but when we did they accommodated us to get him neutered and his vaccinations while making it stressless for him.Their compassion is admirable.

Brought my new puppy in for her first visit. They were very informative with things I should do and when to get necessary testing and procedures done. Super helpful with any questions I had about products. We recently got her spayed. They called when they were done to let me know how she did and to inform me of an infection she had. I was so thankful they kept me updated and took care of her so well. She loves going there too as they have yummy treats. :)

We have received good advice over the phone from Kristin, one of the vet techs. When we bring Emma in the atmosphere is relaxed, professional and friendly. All of our questions are answered. Emma is not afraid to go there. Leann, the vet always follows up by phone if necessary. Highly recommended.

This was our first visit to the Root River Clinic. The staff were very friendly and professional. All our questions were explained in detail and answered to our satisfaction. Lilly, our rat terrier, seemed relaxed and happy with her pet care exam. We will definitely keep receiving her care with Root River Clinic!

Root River Veterinary Clinic is one of the most affordable clinics I have found that has an exotics specialist. I have rabbits and I have gotten one spaying and two neutering here for exceptionally reasonable prices, and with kind and thoughtful care. All three surgeries went very well and the vet gave detailed after care instructions and an anti-inflammatory pain reliever for the buns. All three are healthy and healed up and happy.

Clean office, friendly staff. Since we started going, everyone has been very helpful no matter whether it was answering my questions over the phone or stopping in for our doctor visits. I trust their expertise in taking care of our new puppy (shots, neuter, etc.). Will keep coming back.

I just took my service dog in for a round of vaccinations and a nail trim. Even with Covid-19 going on they were wonderful. They answered all my question, gave me an honest estimate before the appointment of the costs, costs were very reasonable unlike some other vets we have seen in the past, and most importantly my dog wen in with a wagging tail and came out with one as well.
