Betty’s was a nice and clean little relaxing place to have a quick breakfast. Service was polite and very prompt. I was in and out of here in 30 minutes.I ordered the country skillet with eggs over medium and that is exactly how they were cooked.Now, I am from the south was a bit shocked about the gravy not being a thick and rich and pepppery southern sausage and milk gravy but it was still very good. I live over a thousand miles away so of course my preferences will be a little different. I’m only mentioning it because I hope they try a southern sausage gravy with the dish just to see if they like it. It would take it over the top. Overall I had a great breakfast here and highly recommend it! Also great presentation with the plate. I noticed the menu pictures in the reviews were out of date, so here’s the most current.

Amazing food and service with a home-town lake-country feel. Betty's is worth the stop anytime but our breakfast was over the top outstanding! Start or finish your meal with a caramel roll to share, unless you get there too late because they'll be gone before the lunch rush hits. My Minnesota Omelet was a delicious departure from the usual omelet ingredients, including wild rice and mushrooms. Hash browns were picture perfect and the sausage gravy awesome. I have run out of adjectives for this place. Just go there!

Great food! And great service, they were busy but we were seated right away. Very good menu with lots to choose from for both breakfast or lunch. Burger was very good. Will definitely be back for more.

Friendly staff, quality food at reasonable prices. Pie was excellent. Busy with many local patrons which is always a good indication of the quality of a place. Bright with many windows and countey decor. They were advertising a German Octoberfest speciality meal. The menu looked excellent for that event.

The server Vanessa is a little rough around the edges. She in a round about way yelled at our 2 year old child because she opened a coffee creamer and spilled some on the table. The service was a little on the slow side. Took almost 30 minutes to get our food and it wasn't even that hot. The flavor was great on the biscuits and gravy was good, but just not hot enough. The coffee was like coffee flavored water. Since the price was very good and it's close to the lake, I'm sure we'll give it a try again at some point.

The service was friendly, quick, and we got seated right away. Food was phenomenal, (especially if you like diner food) we got breakfast and everyone was happy with what they ordered. Put 4 stars for atmosphere only because it felt a little cramped with the hallway and spacing. The decor is outdated and walls are cluttered, but it kinda felt like it adds to the appeal of the place. Despite the older feel to the place it seems things are kept in good condition, and kept clean. They don’t accept cards, but there is an atm which helps, and is convenient.

For starters we had turtle cinnamon roll that was drizzled with chocolate sauce and white glaze with pecans it was delicious!!!! Then I had the biscuits and gravy 2 eggs and sausage patties smothered in sausage gravy it was very good. And my wife had a Roadhouse burger with cheese and bacon with a onion ring barbecue sauce on it, and a side of onion rings, crispy brown and not over done very tasty. It was a busy lunch crowd and it wasn’t overly crowded or loud I will eat here again

Had lunch last Thursday. Owner was our waitress. Menu was hard to choose as they all sounded good. Had sweet chicken salad croissant with cup of meatball soupFinished with oatmeal pie my favorite. Left more than full. If you are in the area you must stop for a good meal. We live 7 hours away but it is almost worth the drive for this food.

Betty's rocks. My fav is the breakfast skillet with green peppers, onions and tomatoes. Over easy eggs. YOM! My family eats here about 2x a week all summer long. We don't even try to cook our own food anymore. Kid-friendliness: My kids LOVE Betty's. ❤️

Always a great stop. Whether strolling through or a local who is looking for a local gem, check em out!! Vanessa is the owner and has always been friendly and quick!! Food is fantastic. Chicken Fried Steak after a night of ice fishing, homemade soups and excellent burgers.
