This place is a must stop when heading through town. They are always willing to let you sample any of the herring or smoke fish. The staff that was there March 2nd at 940 were extremely helpful and pleasant and couldn’t t have been nicer. Keep up the great work!

Have driven by many times and never stopped. We made a point this time to stop in. Had no idea they had so many selections of sea food items. The staff was very friendly and we can't wait to try our sword fish steaks.

The selection of different pickled herring is amazing. The Connie's crab dip & smoked salmon spread is out of this world! And we love the smoked salmon & Lemon Cookies.

Great stop for the best smoked fish around! Great variety of not only smoked fish but also herring, seafood salads and other shell fish. Lots of jellies, honey, jams and crackers. Variety of MN themed gifts. T-shirts and hoodies available as well.

Morey's is a must visit for us when we are coming back from bemidji. It is throwback to the days when family businesses took pride in their products and craft. The smoked salmon is among the best I've had. The cold salads and herring dishes are all wonderful. The staff is great and the samples are given generously. If you're within a hundred miles of Motley, go visit Morey's. You'll love it, and you'll taste the difference.

I must stop if you are driving buy on HWY 10. They have free samples so you can try anything in the refrigerator cases before you buy. Try the salmon spreads they are great and my personal favorites.They also have crackers and jelly's to go with everything you get. Beast seafood you can get so far away from the ocean!

Have been stopping at Moreys for as long as I can remember and has always been great. Stopped today and picked up smoked salmon and salmon spread and the salmon was extremely salty and way drier than I have ever had from there. The salmon spread was also extremely salty. Seemed to be way over smoked compared to what it has always been in the past in my opinion

Easily a top tier marketplace for most all fish you will want in this area or general culture of cuisine. The real attraction is the smoked fish, and variety of flavors of pickled herring. The dill wine herring is a staple food and an amazing late night snack year round. Make sure to stop here whenever passing through, or in Baxter. I personally favor the Baxter store!

The people there were very pleasant and happy to offer you samples. I highly recommend the sweet pepper crab dipI highly recommend the sweet pepper crab dip, and I don't even particularly like red peppers but it was fantastic. Great price on crab legs. If you are out that way it is definitely worth a stop.

On March 17th I bought a case of Winnipeg sourced walleye for about $23 a lb. Never have I found so many bones in a fillet of walleye. On top of it the fish appears to be freezer burned.

Stopped on Sunday after Thanksgiving. Lots of wonderful things, as usual. And great staff. BUT they didn't have the gorgonzola pear walnut dip OR the pineapple habanero dip I've always gotten. That was a bummer. 😕

The staff was so kind! They waited patiently for me to choose what I wanted. Everytime I go there they are so fast to ask if I need any help or if I want to try something. I get the same thing every single time I go there but it's still nice to see the the workers actually care about their customers.

Such a deliciously fun place to go 🤩 there are many yummy morsels to choose from and they will even give you samples to make your choices easier. Absolutely love Morey's! Of coarse they are a classic of shops to stop and find that special treat for yourself or a lived one!

Most of the time great smoked fish, but a month ago it was absolutely not eatable, literally soggy. I tried contacting them at the email address given, but no reply. I would hope there was a good explanation, but since I heard none, I have to put out this warning: buyer be aware.When I stopped by this week for some smoked steelhead, the staff admitted that a month ago the fish was quite bad. But again, no explanation / assurance it won’t happen again. Morey’s really needs to up their quality control if they want to regain their reputation.

Lots of different kinds of smoked and frozen fish, salt water and fresh water. Variety of other seafood too. Wife bought what I think was crab salad and it was excellent. We'll stop to get more the next time we go through town. Easy access from hwy 10.Years ago when I lived in southern MN, the joke was that when guys would go north on a fishing trip they would stop at Morey's to get fish to bring home.
