I’ve been to Menards a few times in the last week. Typically I’m in and out with no problems. This last week I asked a store member where I could find a specific type of board after walking the lumber. Not only did he imply that I was a stupid girl, he did not lead me to what I needed instead he said “far corner” and continued joking with his buddy. Today I returned to the store and was helped by a wonderful young man in the lumber yard who helped me find exactly what I needed. If it weren’t for him I would be rating much lower.

Found this price and took a picture to go order. Rang up at $399, now not a big issue but basically they spent 20 mins trying not to give me the price, checking it twice and telling me that's not the price they found on the item. Like I'm gonna lie and edit a picture for $20 acted like I was stealing the store. Horrendous customer service. Finally with them standing under the item with the price shown they seemed resigned to give me $20 back. No apology, no smile just ring it up and a sarcastic have a nice day...

Deeply disappointing customer service. I bought two window well covers that were deeply discounted. When I checked out I specifically asked the checkout person if I could return them - never a bad idea to double check on a great deal. The attendant said yes, they could be returned. They were the wrong size and I tried to return them but find out they are not returnable. I spoke with a manager who pointed to some small print - barely legible - on the receipt and apologized for the new person who was at the checkout who didn't know better. Maybe Menard's is doing so well that they don't need my business; that's the message I got from them today.UPDATE (6/23/23): The manager did respond to this review and then to my email. However, he did not even offer store credit. There are lots of choices; I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

When a police officer informs a customer 45 minutes is a suspicious amount of time to be in your store per your manager...i spend that long picking out cereal and juice options for my kids at walmart🙄 🤔 🤣 forget if I'm trying to figure out what the best option is when looking at a techy device ...please!!power tripping managers will affect the store more negatively.filing a false report. Abuse of emergency services.!

I returned some water based paint I had never opened and received in store credit. When I tried to use the in store credit one week later I was informed it had been cancelled. I was told that it appeared to have water in it. My water based paint appeared to have water in it. They would not give my a refund and the employee who checked it herself even stated it could have been expired. I asked to see the jug myself and they told me it had already been sent off to corporate and if I had issues with the decision to discuss it with them directly. The customer service I received was absolutely horrendous.

My #1 go to store for everything you name it! Until I found out they no longer sell fishing gear or equipment. Supper bummed! But the 11% rebate off everything in store is the best thing when you shop there on a regular basis. Those rebates add up and when you receive your rebate credit its going right back to store anyways. The joy of saving and receiving your credit in the mail is so exciting. Nothing beats the bag sale held once a year in late fall early winter. Anything and everything you can fit into that paper bag is all discounted at a great percentage so those expensive little tools or the cleaning supplies that we all pay through the teeth for are next to nill if you can find what it is you use and prefer. Down to decor for your home or garage/shop. They got it you want it.

The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. I asked for location of items I was shown or directed right to them. I also asked for direction to interstate precise directions - perfect. Very congenial and personable customer service person. Store VERY well organized and VERY clean considering the wet and dirty snow and weather. Buggies were inside store and clean. Great Store! Fantastic Employees!

I had ordered 4 interior doors online, 3 of which they had on hand and one that was an odd size and had to be shipped to the store. I got a text confirming the order was in and went to pick it up. When I arrived, the odd size door was not in receiving, the clerk in the back found that the door was damaged upon arrival to the store and was returned. While this is kind of a frustrating situation and means that I'll have to make another trip to pick it up when it arrives, the world isn't perfect and this kind of thing just happens sometimes. The employees handled the situation well and were very friendly and helpful and I'm glad they caught the damage before it got to me. That definitely deserves 5 stars as far as I'm concerned.

Has a lot of very good quality materials and supplies. The Delivery Manager Kayla is superb at her job as is Roger at the building material desk. A product arrived at the store damaged and Kayla immediately returned the damaged product for a new one! Perhaps a bonus is due?

Pretty decent prices and selection. Their 11% rebate adds up, especially when you have a small home and yard maintenance business. Just have to remember to mail them all in before the ink is no longer visible on the receipt (ive lost out on some fairly decent sized rewards after forgetting to mail in right away. I usually keep a stack and send a bunch in all at once so i dont have to go in there with 35 $4 rebates.) They mark their plants on clearance when they think theyre on the verge of death....ive brought many back to life that i still have years later. At the end of the season they deeply clearance any remaining trees, shrubs and perennials. You can also usually find a palate of large, torn bags of soil, for just a few bucks each.

There's always a great selection of every department and the prices are good as well. The only trouble I've ever come across was with actually receiving the rebate from the rebate place. I made a larger our base and never recie Ed it even though I filled and filed everything properly.

Don’t spend more than 40 minutes shopping here or you’ll have the cops called on you for suspicion of shoplifting. How dare customers spend time looking through merchandise and comparing for the best. 🙄

Great store. Great variety in products. Stopped to pick up spray paint and even though they have a large selection of colors and types rro choose from they did not have the color we were looking for. A bit disappointing. We will be back again though. Really enjoy Menards.

kathie "manager" should be a better LISTENER and be more HELPFUL to customers! In my opinion with my B.S. degree in business management she would not have been my first choice! This is a person who represents the company, the person who other employees learn from, and the person who is to HELP customer with their MERNARDS issues. Wowzers...Not wanting to waste my time doing a store pick up (I have issues with impulse buying here. Menards has so many things I want, but do NOT NEED😁) I called into the store to make sure the items WERE there. Right off the bat, this cathie was RUDE, SHORT, AND AWFUL! Unfortunately, when I asked for a manager...it was her🤬Now, I have bad anxiety and issues with being understood (Because of the lack of LISTENING SKILLS of others🙂🙃🙂), especially over the phone but I'm done. I am DONE WITH BEING TREATED oddly by those who are like your "management" unskilled in Customer service! Where in the world did this go, Good Quality Customer Service? I bet it went out the window with the bed side manner of A doctor from merit care (he KNOWS who he is😁)

Great pricing and selection but the lack of available staff and help is frustrating. Took me almost 20 minutes to get someone to help take down a cabinet I wanted to buy that was on the second level shelves. When I did finally track someone down they had attitude about it. I'd rather go to the competitor and pay more and receive better service.

I was passing through a few weeks ago from Canada and bought a product. When I got home I realized that an important component was missing for me to use the product. When I called and presented the issue, the staff went above and beyond to put me in touch with the manufacturer to get a replacement piece shipped to me.The staff in store the day I bought the product was helpful and polite. The management team that assisted me afterwards was beyond compare. I can't even begin to express my gratitude or describe the level of service.Thank you!

Couldn't get help from anyone. There were plenty of employees, just none that knew where anything was. Couldn't even tell me general direction without looking it up. They had to check a price because something wasn't labeled. Instead of simply walking to look at the product, they stood there looking on a store device. Ended up not buying it because I was tired of waiting. 1st time at a Menard's & I won't go back. Walmart has happier & politer employees 🤦♀️.

I called to see if they had a filter for my SHOP VAC and the employee I spoke with on the phone searched the system for the model number I had given him and couldn’t find anything. He then asked another employee and they asked what brand it was and I told them SHOP VAC. He and the other employee left me on the phone while they went to check the isle and must’ve forgotten to put the phone on mute, as they made fun of me amongst themselves for telling them the brand was SHOP VAC.First of all, whoever it was I spoke with, if you’re going to work at a home improvement store, you should probably have a bit more knowledge of what you sell, and more knowledge of brand names, at the very least.Second of all, if you’re going to talk smack about a potential customer, try a little bit better to hide it.I am totally disgusted. Hope your life gets less miserable and you can treat the next customer who calls for help with the same respect I treated you.

Arlene, the front end "manager" , was completely useless. Went to rent a 12ft ladder and was told I couldn't because it was accidently rented out to someone who took their 26ft ladder hours ago. (The ladder's barcodes were never scanned and someone couldn't tell the difference between 12ft and 26ft.) There was absolutely nothing she could do she said. after waiting for 10 minutes for I left with no ladder and will again never use you front end services at the Moorhead MN Location

Went to buy small storage shed. I was told that someone would come to the area to assist. I waited 20 minutes, then went to the courtesy counter, waited 10 more minutes for someone to show up. Service is the worst. I'll shop at home depot from now on.

My advice to anyone wanting to shop here....go to Lowe's! You can use your % off in store without waiting for a rebate check in the mail!! Employees not willing to help you, and RUDE Managers! At least at Lowe's or Home Depot they hired trained employees for their dept.

I happened to need some masking tape n spray paint,n a few other items. So I strolled in got my tape as it's right before you get to the paint dept. Got my spray paint n was heading to get some bottled water in the little grocery section. Well I got my water and a pizza for dinner & some Halloween candy for dessert. mmmmmm... halloween candy😁!!
