Can't get their lives together to get your orders out of the yard. Also absolutely CALL and make sure the entire order is in because when you get up there they will tell you only half the order is in even after you get an email stating the order is ready for pickup. When you ask a simple question they don't even answer it.

Went to exchange a propane tank using 24hr self service station. Allowed me to exchange a tank but charged me $54 even with an exchange and machine was out of receipts, went to customer service were i was informed the self service station has been a issue for a long time. Manager stated she has informed corporate and has put signs up but corporate made manager remove sign and has done nothing to machine. Price difference was refunded but as in store credit because no receipt even tho i pointed out it was their issue I didn’t have one. So in the end menards is getting that money regardless since a gift card was given. Seems like a scam to get money out of someone to me!

Good for all the disposables and consumables. Cleaning supplies, nails, paint, etc. Also has an eclectic grocery section with unique items.

They lose track of your returns! If you lose the little slip of paper you are out of luck. They could update to this century with technology. We probably won’t try to use them for big projects any longer after losing out in hundred$ . Management doesn’t help.

Went from spending thousands here to now almost nothing. I got sick of walking threw the store, to the back desk order what i want, go back out the front, then drive around to find the one thing wanted. Ill go to home depot and just walk right over to what i need.Also the people there don't know where anything is. And send you walking around looking for anything plumping or electrical related.Just save you time and go to home depot

Horrible service. If ya know exactly what you want and where to find it, then sure, maybe. Otherwise, dont expect much, especially if ya need something off the top shelf. Employees stay avoiding customers, regardless of how hard you try to get their attention; face to face even. Ive been going to this location for years; no problem, but i also knew exactly what and where it was that i was after. Other times, ive been avoided like covid or the plague. I WILL NEVER go here again. Im done. Went to home depot and had no issues what so ever. Its a world of a difference going to any other hardware store vs Menards; including Ace or Hanks hardware. Do not waste your time. This location is horrid compared to how it once was. Go to any other hardware store over this.. unless you want to waste time.

My husband and I have been purchasing ceiling fans for our new townhome. We have made multiple visits to Menards to finalize our choices. Jaren, who works in the lighting department has been so extremely helpful and knowledgeable each time. He has provided advice, facts about the fans, and assisted us with orders. He truly goes above and beyond with customer service. He always has a smile and the friendliest attitude. Menards...you are blessed to have an employee like, Jaren!!!

My favorite store. Use to have to drive 50 miles to experience. Great people and some true bargains mixed in with every growing selection.Only but, especially in Mankato is the poorly under sized restrooms a complete failure compared to all their other top notch service areas.Perhaps it's a leader more focused on profit than hygiene - health of employees and customers. Most don't have knowledge of the expense of a public restroom it can be staggering.

Not sure what your looking for or working on but Menards has it. If they don't you probably don't need it. The best thing about Menards is that no matter where you are the layout doesn't change much

As of July 2022The quality is really slipping.I still really like the store and most of the staff is quite helpful. However, on two separate jobs I had damaged cabinets and the best they could do was give me a new cabinet with no refund for my hour and a half round trip to get a new one and on the other occasion I was able to utilize the cabinet they gave me $50 off.Another thing that I would like to point out is the men's room at this location is usually fairly clean but it's just old and disgusting inside. I don't even see truck stops in the area that are this bad. Using a mop and a broom only does so much.

The store was pretty busy. However there were plenty of employees around they were very friendly & helpful. The check out lines were very well accessible & easy to get through with knowledgeable & friendly employees. This has been my go-to store for several years now.

I went twice today because my first visit sparked an interest in a new project. Carts are always available and clean. The layout of the store is standard. Very helpful employees. Quick checkout. Prices are average.

I spend a lot of time at Menards. With the exception of name brand power tools, they have a good selection of everything. The employees know what they are talking about. The store is clean and well-lit. The garden center is great in the spring. The lumber yard is massive, yet easy to find stuff. As good, if not better, than any other big box home improvement store in the area. If you don't see something, just ask.

This is my favorite home improvement store to shop app in our town. The staff is more knowledgeable and willing to help. They seem to have more of the things that I actually want or need. I also do the ordering for my company and place many orders on menards.com for our employees to pick up items that are in several different states.

I worked for menards for a whole year. Everything was going well until the new GM moved in who #1 prefers women but will never promote them. #2 listens to fake accusations and gets rid of employees who are loyal #3 doesn’t take the time to meet the male employees but will take all the time for female employees. #4 managers do what they want with no repercussion. #5 Most employees are disrespectful and will talk smack behind your back (Especially building and materials department). #6 department managers are jerks and treat there employees like they are better when in reality they are mad about their own lives so they take it out on others.I don’t recommend anyone work here unless you are looking for something temporary. The only good thing is the money. Most employees are fake and snitches:) glad to be out of there and can’t wish this treatment on my worst enemy :)

Great hardware store with excellent service.Of the shelf or special order they’ll take care of u. And with 11% rebate year round can’t really go wrong. Prices better than local competition Home Depot. Way better selection of everything as well.Highly recommended!

I always like going to Menards. They usually have whatever I need to get the job done. I have purchased many different tools as well as flooring and doors. Customer service is always willing to help direct you in the right direction for whatever you need to get. Staff are usually willing to help answer questions and give you advice. I have been able to find many different things over the years. The prices are fairly reasonable as well. They frequently have rebates available too and I have sent that in numerous times. Good store in my opinion. If you can't find what you are looking for, you can always ask. If they don't have it, then you go somewhere else. They usually have good quality stuff along with lower quality too and a wide variety. Check it out and if you don't like it, go somewhere else. I do try to avoid the bathrooms because they are not the best but this is the case in many public bathrooms.

The store was clean and orderly, but my son (13) compared the bathroom (@8pm on a Saturday) to a truck stop. He refused to use itAlso, Menards as a company, needs to raise the cashier's work station to a workable height. The poor cashiers cash drawer is below their waist. Everything looks GREAT got some steals & deals. Thank U. BUT when I touched the screen 2 win something.... Well Murphy made IT shut RIGHT OFF. I couldn't revive IT.Part 2. It worked perfect today. So now I'm in the running for a brand new whip. Least that's what some kids call their wheels.My current ride has multiple needs can't wait to make it look like 2006 again.

I came here to the Mankato Menards after getting some other lumber at another establishment. So I let the lot attendant know I had it and showed him my receipt so he knew it was from somewhere else and not there . He proceeded to give me a hard time about it for not getting it all there telling there stuff is all garbage. Thought that was pretty rude myself maybe I’m just getting cranky in my old age .

This afternoon my wife and I attempted to return a few items purchased about a month ago. The customer service lady asked to see my receipt but I forgot it at home. She then suggested we may be able to locate one on the companies computer app. I know very little about computers so she guided me through the process and we found a copy of my receipt. She then used that receipt to refund my money. Her name was Alissa and I want to commend her on her courtesy and helpfulness! She is a definite asset to Menards! Thank You!

We have been working on renovating our newly purchased home and we have had so many questions/needs. We go straight to Mo at the contractor's desk right away. He will take us around the whole store and give us his input and if he doesn't know the answer he will always find out. The BEST service we have ever received, hands down! Mo needs a serious raise!!
