I worked here for about a year and I can tell you this place was kind of a pain to work at. The customers were the worst part. And I can say for a fact I would actually rather eat rock salt than deal with their customers again. My coworkers weren't great either, as many of them had huge superiority complexes.

Runnings does a ladies night and if you have not taken your lady there you are missing out! Great deals, lots of drawings to enter, humane society had pups running around and snacks and pop to enjoy while you check it all out.

The young girls should not be working together on Sunday night. They just don't even care about customers. They just want to sit and talk and giggle with each other. The two cashiers were nice though. First time in the building.

Great store. Grandkids needed boots. So I was just looking around. Has lots of cool toys. Nice clothes. Seems like prices aren't bad at all. The store was super clean. Nice big store for smaller town. I think you could find about anything you need in there.

Poor customer service - I called and asked to have an item held at the counter as I would be in right away to pick it up. The item was not at the counter and I was told to go to a specific location in the store to find it so I did. It was in a completely different section of the store by the time that I found my item, and the young lady who rung me up (and happened to take my phone call) told me that she was going to hold it from me but was told that it's "first come first serve" and was not allowed to pull the item for me. I have worked inretail sales and customer service a majority of my life and that is not proper retail etiquette. Needless to say, I will not be back unless it's an absolute necessity.

Usually has enough items in stock but can be a bit pricey. Can be a challenge to find items but employees can usually get you to the item. There seems to be only a few areas where employees have more training than the average customer. Some long-term employees have been nice to see and have certainly helped newer employees learn more, more quickly. 👍

I shop here often and have for 15 years. The quality of their employees varies greatly. I spent $100 there, when I got home I realized a rod holder and some bolts were not in the bag. I checked the receipt and I was charged for the bolts but not the rod holder, so I drove back and was told they don't see any bolts and there was nothing they could do. I didn't drive 40 miles total to try to hustle them out of $2 in bolts. I like to shop local, but better service at Menards.

Store was clean... Employees were every helpful.. Unfortunately the items in was looking for was out of stock... Just like every other store in litchfield... The shortages are everywhere... But I did find some stuff that I really liked and kind of needed.. Over all a good experience and we will be returning

Neat, well organized staff was willing to help if needed. Disappointed they did not have the item I was after ( A paint markers) but I found plenty of other items I desired. I will be back in the future

Love their bucket deal where you get % off of anything you can fit into that bucket. Love the dog supply section the most. We have bought our dog's food here and have a card where we buy so many bags and then get one free.

Has all that random stuff you need all in one place. Clean well organized store and friendly helpful staff. They also make it easy to check what's in stock online so you don't waste a trip into town.

Had what I needed, has an ok selection of tools and hardware. Like everywhere else the selection of ammo for hunting is almost non existent. Got a good deal on meat grinders and stuffers.

Convenient store but Is almost always out of what I need. May as well travel 20 miles to Menards. At least they keep their shelves stocked. If Runnings would keep their shelves stocked I would shop there more often.

Runnings has a diverse & comprehensive inventory of equipment, clothing, hardware, utility components (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) food, animal products, outdoor/sporting gear, gardening/agricultural tools & supplies, & on & on & on for rural life. Plenty for city folks too. They are my go-to spot for hardware, especially obscure or specialty sizes, or tools in Litchfield. While the prices may not beat the big box stores, their selection tends to high quality & durable brand names that ace the cheaper knock off imitators in longevity & quality of performance.Also, with Runnings being local, you've got to figure in the time & gas savings vs travelling to the box stores. Staff has always been friendly, courteous, and helpful in my experience.

no help walked around and around even went in the back . then saw two girls up front standing around by the time I got up there they disappeared then some kid came by on his way to break said he'd send someone back we waited. get up to the register a part scans wrong the confused girl looks at me like I'm gonna run back and look it up. What happened to the knowledgeable help they use to have? the place is full of Mac Donald's reject s!

Some days the staff is very helpful and other days you can't find an employee to help you out. So you're better off going up and down the aisles looking for what you want rather then looking for an employee that can show you where the item your looking for is located.

It works in a pinch but doesn't have much selection. Hutch is much bigger and a lot more selection. Price is usually a bit higher on certain things.. store has most things but have found myself needing to go elsewhere to finish off my list. Usually all the way back to hutch.

Not one of the bigger stores but the help is friendly and if they don't have an answer for my question, you can be sure there's always someone else working there who can!Plus they sell Dot pretzels!!!
