Muddy cow is a great place to go eat with the family. The food is great everytime we have gone. The staff are always helpful and willing to assist with requests. My kids like playing on the quarter machine, darts, and pool. This is a place that my kids talk about when we discuss where to go eat. I would recommend this restaurant for people with kids that want a place to go that had activities.

Arrived here to a brightly lit welcoming establishment and grabbed a table. We got our drink orders placed and then we waited my ice was almost all melted by the time we got our drinks, will admit the two for ones was nice. Ordered our food and it came out in a reasonable amount of time and it was hot. 3 star service 5 star burger over all 4 stars. I would definitely visit a Muddy Cow in the future.

Muddy Cow - Litchfield is a great place for lunch. We had the daily special and it was fabulous. The facility was very well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu had many items we would like to try but the daily special won. We will definitely return when we are in the area. Stop by and enjoy a great place.

I came here for dinner on a saturday night around 6:30 and the place was partially full. I took a seat and the server was with me pretty quickly. To my surprise beers were buy one get one free, which was a pleasant surprise. Being from the west coast that's not something we do there. The salad had plenty of goodies and the honey mustard dressing was some of the best I ever had. The chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly and the eggs were a great touch. The server kept checking in to see if I needed anything else, along with keeping everyone else at the bar happy. A good place for dinner.

I’ve never been here until recently. The bartender told me drinks are 2 for 1 (which I would assume means 2 for the PRICE of 1) so I ordered a crown and diet and received 2 right away. A little odd to have one sitting and waiting while I drink the other but they were mixed perfectly and were very good. Then I ordered a basket of onion rings which I could’ve sworn the menu said was $4. Anyway, the 2 drinks and onion rings were $28 after I gave a 20% tip as well. The service, food, and drinks were all great but I guess I’m just curious how much things cost and how the 2-4-1 drinks work. I didn’t think to look at my receipt at the time and it didn’t strike me as odd until I was on my way home. I understand crown drinks are gonna cost more but were they really like $10 each? And why do I have to order 2 at a time?

Stopped in for lunch! So glad we did. Service was great. Food was great! We had wings and burger. Burger was perfect. The wings were a hit with the hubby and the onion rings are huge!

Well to be honest with you I did end up going here to this location and it was horrible cause of the fact that the main person who cook's all the food went on vacation and the assistant cook was just terrible she put way too much salt on the honey barbecue boneless wings and i told the owner about this and she felt really bad and didn't charge me for my meal which was nice of her to do but still it was on my birthday that day and i was really disappointed. I had also went to the one out in Hutchinson and I really liked that one. The food was great the service was great but the meals are a bit spendy if you want to grab a quick bite to eat.

We were drooling just reading the menu. Lots of delicious options. The pretzel appetizer was to die for. My grilled cheese burger was very good although i wish it had more of the Carolina reaper aoili on it. Great outdoor patio and we were pleasantly surprised by two-for-one draft beers. Cheers!

Very good waitress. It just got noisy when multiple families came and kids could just bang around the pool table balls without playing a game. It was quiet when we first came and thought could enjoy some of the Vikings/Chiefs game. Then my beer-battered cod basket wasn't good-I ate two of the three cod pieces and when I bit into the third- it was so gross. My husband's steak wrap was good.

Upon checking my bank statement, someone from the establishment decided they needed an extra $10 tip. I wrote and signed for $40.08 and left a cash tip. Mind you I didn’t tip as well as I normally do because the waitress was horrible and I noted it on my receipt…It took forever for us to get our drinks - she brought the alcoholic drinks for the adults before bringing the kids their apple/orange juice, my grandson sat with an empty glass the entire meal because our waitress NEVER came to check on us after we got our food, my daughter’s order was wrong, we put in a to-go order and we were reassured they would put that order in when we got our food but didn’t so we had to wait even longer with (2) energetic preschoolers that couldn’t understand why they had to wait to get their reward for being good during dinner (getting to play the crane game and get a gum ball). Normally I would just let poor service be but when someone stole from me, then I have a problem!

We went here for mother's day. We only had a party 12. Not that many, considering we have a family of about 50. We had two separate tabs going. One for the first part of the group that had arrived early. Second for the other half of the party. The second part of the group did not receive their food for over an hour and a half after ordering. And when the food was brought out it was the wrong food entirely, it was supposed to go to another table. I'm sure this location is great any other time of the year, with maybe one or two people in your party. But it seems if you have more than four people they have a hard time handling that. As I noticed the tables around us were also having issues with their orders.On a side note, I got the wild rice soup. I love wild rice soup. But later in the day about 5 hours later I was hovering over the toilet. And spent the next two days living in my bathroom. I don't know if it was the soup, I don't know if it was how long it had sat before it was served. All I know is I still do not feel 100% and this was on Sunday. Today is Tuesday. I still cannot stomach food normally. I'm not sure if they were just short staffed or if it was someone new making the food, but everything that our table got was off somehow. Either things weren't cooked properly or things weren't the right order.

Excellent burgers and sides! A very popular place and the price vs. quality was on the mark. They didn't overcook the burgers and have a Gluten Free bun. The wait staff got us seated and our order quickly. Definitely a sports bar by the decor, but at lunch just people eating and visiting. We'll definitely stop again the next time we're in the area!Dietary restrictions: Had a Gluten free bun, but no allergy sensitive menu. However, Sarah,the waitress, made sure to ask in the kitchen and made the appropriate selection when restrictions were mentioned. 👍Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple handicapped parking spots near the entrance and the door was wide enough for a wheelchair. No power door.

My friends and I went to lunch and all arrived at opening and the door was locked. We waited approx. 10 mins and I called they said they were busy and forgot to open door. We sat at the bar a few minutes waiting for the workers to stop chatting and take our orders. All three came incorrect. One friend specifically ordered no tomatoes as he is allergic. His came with tomatoes and he was treated like he did something wrong and his new food came out well after ours. My other friend and i ordered our burgers and were askedfor medium and got well well done. I have pickle allergy so i specifically said no pickles but fried onions. My freind asked for raw onions and pickles. I got a few slivers of onion not fried. My freind got a little onion and a couple pickles. We both had chips not fries. We each had one drink and the bill was about 72$. They charged us for the few pickles and the onions. They were very unproffesional and somewhat rude to my freind over the tomatoes. The experience was a very poor one from start to fonish.

Food was good, but due to the short staffing it took 45 minutes to get. I felt bad about the wait staff, they were super nice but overworked. Not enough on staff. They were all running around doing anything and everything. Loved the free cheese puffs made the wait for food less painful. All in all the staff was awesome but overwhelmed, the food was great but late. I'll be back due to the nice staff.

The bartender, Brooklyn could have potential but the attentiveness was not there 100%. Food came out quick and tasted good. Service has always been horrible here though. There were was another bartender behind the bar but didn’t do a good job of paying attention to all customers at the bar.

Muddy Cow in Litchfield MInnesota offers a very large venue with quality service and food. The Paul Bunyan Burger knocked it out of the park. Easy and ample parking, simple access and a variety of seating opportunities makes Muddy Cow an easy place to visit. Muddy Cow is located with VFW Admiral Benson Post 2828 in Litchfield MInnesota. The Litchfield location is really great. The food is well prepared. I've had many menu options and like it all. The staff are all really nice and very accommodating. This is a location where you can bring your kids and feel confident you're not a bother. 5 starsKid-friendliness: They have crayons and kids menus they can color. They have highchairs as well.

We were traveling through and decided to stop and try this place out. When we arrived the hostess didn't appear to want to be there, maybe just having a bad day which can be understood. She indicated that even though about 2/3 of the tables were open there would be a 10 minute wait. This may have been related to staffing and again could maybe be understood. There was an older couple waiting for seating ahead of us and they choose to leave rather than continue to wait. I saw the hostess come to get them and realize they left and this is where the understanding I had went south. There were no tables that I saw that did not sit at least 4 (we had 4 in the party) and rather than just grab 2 more menus to seat us since there was now obviously a table available, she just disappeared again and we still waited an additional 5 minutes. Once seated the waitress did get our order fairly quickly but never really checked on us, we got drinks and food and didn't see her the entire time we ate, she only came over to ask if we were alright as we were preparing to leave. While sitting there (I was facing the entrance) I did not see anyone leave yet when an additional 3 people arrived who seemed to know the hostess or were regular patrons they were seated immediately, commenting as they walked by our table about them not being willing to wait 10 minutes, this table was joined by 2 others a few minutes later and was checked on by the waitress several times compared to our 1 time. While I understand that inflation is causing prices to rise, the burger was a rather small patty/portion for 12.50. The taste of the food and presentation was good aside from portion size related to cost.We travel 5-6 times a year from SW MN to St. Cloud and based on the service we won't return here again, we will drive the 15 or so miles our of the way to go to Hutchinson instead. If the score was based on the service alone it would be 0 stars.

This place was rude. Did not even get a chance to taste food. The service took forever. We were there for a while and some tables that arrived and ordered after we did got their food before we did all we ordered was 2 meals and a kids meal. Maybe because I'm Hispanic. Was hoping to try food looked delicious. But I will never recommend nor return to this establishment.
