What a unique old town Main Street coffee shop! Very friendly staff and visually stunning old interior design of this place, takes you back in time while enjoying a cup of coffee. I had a delicious latte and tasty blueberry scone. Highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or visiting this quaint little town in central Minnesota!

Finally stopped in after admiring the building for a while. Gorgeous place, from the exterior to the interior. Decor was rustic and homey. Beautiful old building. We ordered 2 paninis, a white mocha and a Turtle mocha. The sandwiches were pretty good, especially the pesto chicken. The coffee left much to be desired. They only use 2 espresso shots in a large (caribou, Starbucks, all the big name places typically do 4-5 shots in a large). The coffees essentially tasted like a lightly flavored warm milk. Mine didn't have much coffee or white mocha taste. You can add espresso shots but they're $1 per shot. Staff was nice and friendly. Would go back for the food but wouldn't try the coffee again.

I have always enjoyed going to little mom and pop shops and cafes. First time walking into Mimi's it gave a vintage, homey feel. There were little niknaks you could buy such as mini fragrances, cented candles, all natural bee honey, candy, jams and more. We bought honey and a cinnamon roll candle. We seated ourselves, which was nice, menus were already at the table. From my understanding breakfast is served all day?? Our server gave us a friendly greeting and introduced their special (picture below). Also don't want to forget their tasty pastries either 😋I can't exactly remember what the special was called, but the way the server described it, made me not want to try anything else from the menu. The sandwich and the berry sauce was The sandwich itself didn't have much taste to it but dipping it in the sauce gave it an EXPLOSION of flavor, which was more than enough for me. My boyfriend had the blueberry pancake, which I did get a taste of and MY LAWD was it delicious! My son had the kids waffle that came with powdered sugar, frosting and a side of syrup. He said he loved it and would like me to now add frosting to his waffles LOL.Overall,we enjoyed our visit, food was amazing, our server was super friendly and we can't wait to come back! Highly recommend coming here if you're ever in Litchfield.

Super kind woman, Bethany helped us. Great food and we got our daughter a very nice quality 'Mimi's Cafe' shirt. The restaurant is well done in an old building, complete with a fireplace. The Strawberry Fields salad and wrap were a hit, as was the Basil Pesto sandwich. NOT the Mimi's chain.

Mimi's is exactly the place we were looking for on a Saturday morning. The atmosphere of the original brick walls, vintage, display case and high ceilings was great.My wife had the avocado toast, eggs, and crazy good bacon, while I had the "classic " , which was the same only served with spicy fried potatoes. Just a very good regular coffee for both of us. Great stop on a rainy day!

This looked like a cute cafe so I stopped in for a coffee and breakfast. When the food arrived I was stunned that the eggs were instant eggs that you would find at a 2 star hotel breakfast bar. The breakfast ham was the only thing tasty on my plate.Not impressed. If you guys have real eggs on your menu, it would make a huge difference. I’d only return and order coffee from this place.

The experience overall was mediocre at best. The service was acceptable, but not exceptional by any means. The food, to be honest, was abysmal. I honestly cannot say that I’ve ever been to a breakfast/brunch cafe that serves instant eggs or frozen pancakes. My girlfriend also ordered the chicken pesto panini which had canned chicken on it. The atmosphere was nice, and the coffee was decent. I definitely wouldn’t re-visit.

Mimi’s looks great from the street. It’s a cute place, but the food is mediocre at best. The vegetable beef soup was from a can, probably Campbells. The avocado toast was meagerly spread- when the avocado is supposed to be the star. My husband’s eggs Benny were “the worst he’s ever had.” He thought the eggs were reconstituted dry eggs, the ham, a pressed composite. Skip Mimi’s.

From the first time we ate at Mimi's we knew we had found a treasure. All the food and specials are great. The Caramel rolls and scones are really good with their hot coffee or to take home. My wife likes there specialty coffee drinks. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff are great. The pricing is very fair. For us it is a must go to place when we are in the area.

Super cool lil coffee shop slash Cafe dinner, had an Italian soda with a panini for breakfast it had super good multi grain bread the ham and cheese was fantastic our server was very friendly, then on the way out I had to have a Coca-Cola in a glass bottle , good prices good service will definitely be going back soon to try the other items on the menu

My kids and I were just here a couple days ago. My kids like to walk around and explore. I would not let my kids do that here but they sat great in the booth (other than my 1.5 yo shouting over the booth seat).But hands down the best scone I have ever had in my entire life (apple cinnamon). Coffee was delicious but that scone....AMAZING!! I would definitely love to go sit in a chair by the fire while gorging myself on their baked goods...without my kids.

Nice place. The coffee actually tasted good (not burnt!), and the food was very nice (my eggs were cooked ok). Liked the vintage atmosphere, too.The only weird thing is it doesn't feel as much like a "café", and more like a coffee shop offering a few breakfast choices.

Great food and baked goods. They understand flavor in food. Everything is always balanced and feels very thought out. Lattes are pretty good definitely have a good kick from the espresso.
