Wonderful Hometown Dairy Queen. Great Service too. Recently we Purchased an ice cream cake for Mother’s Day and it tasted fantastic. Updated store format, clean restrooms, well attended parking lot and very pleasant help. Highly recommended. (my favorite is the crunch cone)

Lol so thankful I spent $27 here for a sauce and tossed 4pc chicken strip basket to get 3 piece regular basket. Y’all need to double check you are giving out the right orders. Didn’t think I still needed to check my food before I left to make sure it was the right thing but I apparently do. There needs to be more adult supervision there with all the teenagers that work there to make sure the right thing is going out…..

Avoid! Waited 35+ minutes but we were stuck between vehicles so couldn’t back out. Ordered 2 cones and 2 sundaes. When we got to the window she said the machine wasn’t working well so everything had to be in cups… we got out cups of ice cream that were literally half full and extremely liquidy. If it wasn’t for our children who waited so patiently for this special treat we would not of accepted it. I will never return to this establishment.

DQ was short staffed but the staff who was working was great. They were kind and helpful. We weren’t able to go inside due to staffing. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly.Kid-friendliness: Lots of food options for kids. We love that they get a dessert choice with it.

This was the worst service we have ever had here. All the HS workers that were supposed to be cooking took their breakat at one time. They told customers the kitchen was closed and proceeded to gather with a group of friends who had taken over a corner booth. Others went outside to skateboard. This left one girl to do drive up and dining room ordrrs. The kitchen may have been closed but all those kids managed to come out with their food, filled their drinks no mind to any customers. My thoughts: at least one responsible adult might be needed to keep these employees accountable. What a frustrating experience.

Waited at window for 10 minutes watching my ice cream melt down the sides of the cup. I asked for a new one after finally paying and the manager said it’s good enough quality and couldn’t I see it’s busy and then proceeded to make fun of me with his coworkers for asking to have ice cream that hadn’t been sitting over 10 minutes. Very poor and ridiculous service.

I never leave bad reviews and I realize the service industry has been hit hard. They’re not understaffed here, they’re just insanely disorganized! We waited over 5 minutes to even be acknowledged at the counter and 2 guests before us walked out. We have a simple order and it’s been 15 minutes and no food or ice cream in sight yet. There’s more workers socializing with friends than actually working. Meanwhile there’s food getting cold in the warmers for other guests before us still waiting for their food to be handed to them.Edited: 48 minutes later we asked for a refund and left without our food because they lost it.

Pulled in the parking lot with (large) boat and trailer, unable to use the drive thru. I went to the door and it was locked, although I could see patrons sitting inside.I returned to the truck, told my husband the door was locked and got in. We observed an employee unlocking the door to let a family exit then she locked the door behind her again. It was 6:15pm on a Monday. No sign on the door and no attempt by the employee to communicate with me why the doors were locked.Unfortunately, not everyone is able to use the drive thru.

Doors are randomly locked with no notice on the door, drive through line was extremely slow. We had a coupon for buy one get one on blizzards of the same size so ordered 2 medium blizzards and a mini, but they only discounted the price of the mini.

Great local spot. It can hit your pocket books if u do dinner and ice cream but there a couple ways to get around the cost being so much. I got a family of 5 and with all of us ordering food combos and then ice cream to go was still $60 plus so just be prepared. The quality is good and the people/employees are great so it's a splurge once in a while. We live close enough we make it a family event and kids bike or scooter and me and the wife walk along with them. Outside seating option is minimal but on a nice evening if you can get a table outside it's worth it.Kid-friendliness: Kids love ice cream and all the ice cream options

No one greets you at the counter... Even when they walked up they just stared at me in silence. Awkward... They let my food sit in the warmer forever. It wasn't even busy and they were all so slow and didn't communicate to eachother. It was so weird. Then my food wasn't even correct once I got home. Don't recommend this location.

This DQ drives me crazy! They are so indecisive on when their front doors are locked and when they’re not. We like to get cakes for bday parties but can’t ever go in to pick one out, so we bring our business elsewhere in town. And when we do decide to brave the drive-thru it takes 15-20 mins. The girl that rang me up at the window was sweet.

Terrible service… had at least 5 people working and they closed the lobby. We waited 35 minutes in the drive thru (3 cars ahead of us) for 2 ice creams and when we got to the window they had our order wrong after clarifying it 3 times at the speaker. We asked them politely to get us the correct side and we could see them smack talking us and swearing while they remade my ice cream. (Small blonde girl)

Going through the drive through we waited 5-10 minutes till someone took our order. Then getting our actual order took 10 minutes and they messed up our order. We waited another 5 minutes. Leaving the drive through my sister pulled out her chicken sandwich to find out it’s just two chicken strips on bread. We’ve gone to Dairy Queen in Lindstrom for years and it’s never been this bad.

Severely understaffed, which is not their fault in these current times, however the staff that was there, was really struggling. Ordered in the lobby "to go". Food was good, service not so much. They have order numbers on the receipt, but don't use them. And since they have a fair amount of "popular" items, they were constantly giving the blizzard to the guy that just ordered, where the guy that ordered the same one 10 min before still hadn't received his! Staff seemed crabby! Really? Cashier kind of threw an older gentlemen his change. They literally ignored the customers at the counter for long periods of time. It looked like they took care of about a half dozen vehicles in the drive through for every "one" customer in the lobby. And they ALL moved like TURTLES. Seriously people, you are busy!! Move! The food was correct, and tasted good, which is more than I can say for most of their competition. But these younger staff need an education in attitude and work ethic.

Amazing service. My food was ready quickly, and it tasted amazing. They even gave me a secret menu item for FREE! The employees were very welcoming, especially the young man running the counter. He fed me my food, wiping my face in-between bites. He even brought me free water. He died tragically. I think about him every night.

The other day I came in to get blizzards and when I got home there turned out to be grass and dirt in them. This establishment is unsanitary and incompetent when it comes to cleanliness. I myself save money and rarely go out so when I buy a treat I expect the restaurant fast food Etc to do their job. If you ever look at this Dairy Queen just remember never go here unless you want dirt and grass in your ice cream.

To wait 45 min for 2 chili cheese dogs and a blizzard on a Tuesday afternoon is completely absurd. Not to mention sending out the blizzard 20 min before receiving the food I ordered to have it than melt over the entire car.. then by the time I received it at home (which is a block away literally) have it entirely melted. I work in the food industry I understand being short staffed. With that being said I’ve waited tables with a full restaurant and 1 cook and got people out the door within 45 min. This isn’t a short staffing issue this stems down to one thing only and that is the owner. BE PRESENT AS AN OWNER & Pay good wages and create a good work environment and you will not have this issue dailywhich it seems to be. Thanks!!!

Went in for gift cards. First, no hours posted on doors, had to look it up online while in parking lot. Staff were friendly, but issues with registers as I needed to purchase a pile of gift cards. The team worked together & got it to work- great perseverance! Daughter tried dairy free dilly bar and enjoyed itDietary restrictions: Dairy free dilly bar! Way to go DQ!
