One of the very best KOA campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Bathrooms and laundry room were exceptionally clean. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We were there during some heavy rain and there were no drainage issues at all. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of fun amenities including a gorgeous covered pavilion with lots of nice seating.

Everything you want out of a camp ground. We have a 40’ class A towing a 16’trailer and their 80’ pull through was perfect. We had a last check in with no reservation and the check in box at the front was so easy to follow, first come first serve. The owners were so kind, laundry room was spotless. Very dog friendly and the seasonal neighbors were all really kind. 10/10

Just an overnight while en route from east to west across the US. Sites large and level (we were in site #7), campground clean, host staff very nice. Nice and quiet at night. Pool was refreshing and clean. Downtown Jackson just on the other side of the highway- picked up dinner at Pillars Pub & Eatery- YUMMY. A great pit stop off of 90 for the night.

The camp sites are spacious and pull-through. The owners, Michelle & Harold, are wonderful and caring. They keep the campgrounds neat and clean. Late arrivals are accommodated, which gives you peace of mind when you are on the road! I had a medical situation that prolonged my stay here. They promptly extended my reservation with no issues. I would definitely stay here again if my future travels lead me this way 💗

Camped here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer and wish it was closer to our home cuz we would be here every weekend! The grounds are very well kept and clean! The owners are very nice. It has a lovely pool, mini golf, playground and even a dog park!Also has a onsite store, laundromat and showers. Love this place really wish it was closer to our home in WI. Thank you for a lovely stay!Noteworthy details: The Pool, laundromat and showers all super clean, impressive!

Great overnight stop for us. All pull-through spaces.We were there when the campground was pretty full and a race was going on at the track, so the night was a little loud but not too bad.Wi-fi was good until it got busy, then it was only so-so.Owner really nice and friendly.Would definitely stay again.

We stopped there for two nice recently. Over all it was a nice park. When we arrived we were told we couldn’t have our second vehicle at our site, which is fine, rules are rules. Until we started driving thru and noticed other people had two cars in their sites. Even our neighbor the next day had two cars at their site until the next day. We had to park our second car in a field outside of the park and was told to not forget my window tag or I’d get towed. So I’m not sure what was up with that but I really didn’t appreciate that. We could have fit two cars without parking on the grass. This is the only KOA that has made us park a car off site. And no it wasn’t busy. There were open sites the whole time we were there. Moral of the story - don’t stay if you have two cars.

The nicest family runs this campground! Michelle was so helpful when I called to make a reservation. When she discovered I was traveling alone with my two small kiddos, she pulled out all the stops to make our stay completely seamless and enjoyable. 😍We were greeted in the most friendly and welcoming way when we pulled up tired and DONE with being on the road.Thank you so much for getting us cleaned up, rested, and back out on our way!

What you need to know about this place is that you need to stay here! Owners are on-site, super friendly and really care about your stay! KOA website says 2 nights are required, just call them! Lots to do here and everyone is very welcoming!

We called ahead for an after hours check in after our day didn't go as we planned. They were very nice on the phone and specifically found us a spot that would be easy to get into in the dark. I found the bathrooms, dump station, garbage area, and the rest of the campground to be very clean and tidy. The management/owners here were definitely friendly, and we actually stopped to talk to them for a while. We will be staying here next time we pass through. Overall a 10 out of 10!

This is by far the best KOA Journey we've been to. Family owned, spacious, and quiet. Nice pool. Nice pet play area. Restroom/showers extremely clean. Owners are really devoted to the place, and it shows. Will definitely stay again when on I-90 in southern Minnesota.

We booked last minute for 1 night while passing through. We were greeted promptly by Owner Michelle. She was so kind and helpful. I wish we had more time to spend here. The pool looked great. The facilities were clean and updated. The showers were amazing. We will definitely consider staying here next time we are in the area.

After several stays at this park I would highly recommend stopping here for a stay, they have nice wide sites with well manicured grass and trees. The bathrooms are clean. The pool is well maintained. The dog park is kept clean and the bag station is always well stocked. Laundry facilities are clean and reasonably priced. The staff also made it very easy to extend a stay despite being so busy. There is no cable, but the antenna channels are plentiful and the reception in the area is actually really good.

We have been traveling for 3 weeks and our kids said this was the best spot so far! My almost 14 year old son gave this review - “The pool was clean and was a nice size. It wasn’t too deep (5ft) which was good. The grass around the campground was cut nicely and our spot was level and clean. Also, the wifi service was great for us and we were at the further end of the campground.” The only additional information I’d add is that the staff was really friendly and accessible and I really liked how clean the campground was. If I had to pick one improvement, one of the benches near the pool had peeling paint that got on your skin if you sat there, but there was plenty of other seating. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Jackson Journey KOA ❤️We felt welcome the moment we arrived. Friendly, helpful staff and the owners, Harry and Michelle were wonderful.Close to the Interstate as we were traveling through.Grassy, large sites. Reasonably priced.Would highly recommend staying at this campground. So many amenities.Thank you for a great experience Jackson Journey KOA.On a side note, loved the Koum N Go Food Cart. Exceptional homemade food, hearty servings and reasonably priced.

Called for a last minute one night reservation while passing through on our way home— Michelle and Harry are wonderful owners and hosts & were able to set us up beautifully in adjoining sites. Roads and sites are well maintained, pulling in was a breeze (super level, accessible utility hookups). Enjoyed a hot shower in very clean bathrooms and a relaxing evening off the road before continuing on our journey. We would absolutely stay here again any time! Thanks y’all!!

Very clean and friendly environment. The tent sites are huge and covered in plenty of soft grass. Firewood bundles were provided at a small fee and included fire starter! The hosts were also very attentive to our needs. Deffiently a great stop for a trip!

The Jackson KOA Journey is a lovely facility. The camp hosts, Harry and Michelle, are kind and generous people. They were very helpful and accommodating when we experienced a very abrupt and unforeseeable change in our roadtrips plans. As for the campground itself, the bathrooms & showers were very clean. There were a lot of lawn game options for family/kid fun: such as basketball hoop, volleyball net, horseshoes, etc. We occupied a tent site during our stay. I believe there is a campfire ring, standing charcoal picnic bbq, and a picnic table at each site. The overall location of the campground is highly convenient for travelers. Though by extension of this, the road noise is noticeable for those light sleepers. All in all, I am very happy with my brief stay and would recommend this KOA to others passing through. There is even laundry onsite!Joyous travels everyone! ^_^

These guys run a tight ship. Grounds are super clean. Pool is superbly maintained.We had a cabin and a tent spot. Everything was perfect. Had plenty of shade.One minute off I-90.

This was my first KOA experience and I have to give it a thumbs up. Although the tent sites are a little close to the road and a Super 8, the traffic is relatively quiet. Brenna was super nice, and I enjoyed chatting with her while she was closing up. The tent sites themselves are under shaded trees, which are nice to have on a hot day. There's a 24-hour gas station with a convenience store literally a 60 second bike ride away, which is very helpful after the camp store closes. Finally, I found the washrooms immaculate for a campground. I would stay here again!

We had a great time. Very quiet campground with a lot going on. This is the first time we have encountered so much happening within the campground. They had karaoke, swimming, pancake breakfast, mini golf, and a UTV driving around selling ice cream for the KOA for Kids program. Plus the interaction with the staff was fantastic, Harry and Michelle made their way to the campsites just to make sure everyone had what they needed. We are planning to back yet this season as this was our second stay. Thank you Harry and Michelle!

Jackson KOA in Minnesota is an easy on and off stop from the highway and the campground itself is very clean and well maintained. Along with having 30/50 amp full hook up sites, there are tent sites and cabins for rent. There are plenty of activities here such as basketball, mini-golf, volleyball, a pool, and more.Visited in September 2021

One night stop headed East. Park is under new ownership and they are making lots of improvements. The roads and sites are gravel but there is a nice grass strip between sites. Ours had a picnic table and fire right. Strong wifi but no cable tv. The office/store is nice and organized but due to it's size, there isn't much other than bare essentials. There is a dog run but it was all mud during our stop. One point, while traffic noise from the highway wasn't an issue, apparently there is some sort of racing track nearby. Friday evening the track was quite busy with loud engines until around 2200. We felt comfortable and the price was right so we would definitely stay again.
