We brought in our sick kitty and they helped us get her the care she needed, and at her follow up appointment, they were so thorough with explaining her medicine, and gave me some ideas on how to get what we needed for her without breaking the bank. Absolutely lovely staff! I took my 10 month old bichpoo puppy to fill out a last minute international travel certificate this morning and we had a wonderful experience. The tech and veterinarian were so kind and helpful in filling out all of his necessary paperwork for our upcoming trip and even communicated with my vet in Ohio to have all of his records transferred the same day. the staff were also incredibly gentle and kind to my puppy. A lovely little place, would highly recommend taking your pet here.

All of the vets and techs at Arden Shoreview Animal Hospital are caring and helpful. We've had wonderful experiences here over the past 13 years. The staff have helped us through some very hard days with dogs who were at the end of life. They have also been there for some of the best days with new dogs that we have adopted. We are thankful for this place and highly recommend it!

I have been to different veterinary offices in and around the Northern suburbs of St. Paul, but I love Arden Hills Shoreview Animal Hospital best. The vet techs are so helpful and kind and the veterinarians are great. They don't rush you through appointments. They explain everything and give choices for treatments. I love this clinic.

After thorough exams, the friendly staff was always able to discuss treatment options and itemized billing - which was absolutely appreciated. (When you are a one income family with four kids and four cats and a bunch of reptiles to all keep healthy, it's beneficial to know what options are available.)

I got a puppy over the weekend that was not feeling well. Arden Shoreview Animal Hospital calmed my anxiety and treated my pup with care and kindness. The nurses and dr were thorough and took as much time as needed to make sure I wan informed and comfortable. They did blood work and found what was causing my pup to be ill. They started us on a round of treatment right away. They gave me several samples of food and medication and packets of info on everything from housebreaking to vaccinations and everything in between. 5 stars! If you are looking for a veterinarian in the twin cities area, I would highly recommend Arden Shoreview Animal Hospital!

We've always had good experience but they have raised prices so much no longer worth the price. Some procedures are almost double other estimates from other vets and pricing so outrageous my doctors visit was cheaper than my dogs visit!

Our dogs normally go to a different animal clinic, but it was full on busy. Our aging dog (almost 17) had symptoms that we didn’t see as an emergency, yet we believed he needed to be seen quickly. They got him in the next day, quickly but thoroughly assessed his health, and gave us the unfortunately sad news in a direct, tactful, compassionate manner. Thank goodness for their help and care!

An emergency visit brought us to your clinic and I’m very grateful that schedules were accommodated to see my puppy. Our experience was extremely positive beginning with my call to your receptionist, being triaged by your vet techs and finally interacting with Dr. Westgard and Dr. Mayaka. Dr. Westgard saw my puppy and was very kind, patient, informative, and took her time to walk through medical options. Finally, I was not only shocked but delighted to receive a follow-up call from Dr. Mayaka. Working in healthcare, this is incredible service and the vets and staff at Arden Shoreview Hospital went above and beyond to demonstrate excellent care. Work brings us to Minnesota a few times a year and I will continue to bring my puppy back for additional check-ups. Thank you for caring for Osito! ❤️🐶

My visit today was horrible. I brought my cat in to be seen because he was having issues with his back legs and needed his insulin refilled. I was told he was severely dehydrated and needed fluids or he would die. So the doctor said she could put an IV in for fluids, which they did. Then they brought Milo, my cat back and said here you go the IV is ready but we aren't going to give him any fluids because he needs at least two days worth of fluids. So instead of giving Milo what might have been his last bit of water, they turned him away because they said he needed much more than just one bag of fluids. I asked the doctor can't you at least give him a bag of fluids you put the IV catheter in and she said yes I could but I am not going to do that because he needs much more than that. I do not suggest this place to anyone.

Our Vet is constantly booked out several weeks because of staffing issues. We had to find another vet.Although much farther from our home than we're used to, I was pleased for sure. Scheduling was flexible, the facilities were clean and organized, and the staff was friendly.The costs seemed reasonable for what we needed.

We love Arden Shoreview Animal Hospital. Jenny Mayaka is our vet and when our puppy was showing signs of limping, she determined that it was more than growing pains and we were able to get treatment for OCD, a problem in big dogs. He is now completely healed and a normal dog. We went (back) to Arden Shoreview after many years away using a different vet. When we were unable to get an appointment with our vet for a very sick previous dog, Arden Shoreview was there for us. They helped us through a very difficult time as we had to let go of that dog.

A kitten unexpectedly wondered into my life and with COVID-19 I could not find a reputable vet in Minneapolis who was taking new customers. I was luckily referred to Arden Shoreview Animal Hospital and I'm so thankful that they were able to take me as a new customer and check out my little guy. They were professional, very knowledgeable, and took the time to review all the details regarding care, food, vaccines, and etc. They truly cared about my pet, and were fantastic to work with. We used to bring our pets here when I was a kid and I remembered my parents always liking the people that took care of them. We just switched to this clinic after some having some less than desirable experiences at a clinic in NE Minneapolis and are so happy that we did! They have a very knowledgeable staff and it’s clear that they care about our pets and us as well. If you live in NE Minneapolis, it’s well worth the few extra miles to know that your furry friends are in good hands!

I could not say enough wonderful things about the whole staff at Arden Shoreview Animal Hospital. When I initially brought in my 20 year old cat, they treated him with such care and provided me with a couple of options with how to treat his acute health concern. They even followed up a week later with a phone call to check in and see how he was doing. I had to put him down 2 months later when his overall health severely declined. They were so caring and made the process comfortable for him. Seriously could not have asked for a better experience.
