I have been going to Greg's for almost 5 years, so I know them very well. And if you want a butcher that serves up some absolutely awesome meats, this is definitely the place to go! And did I mention Greg is an award winner!? The staff is so friendly and helpful! The store is always clean and fresh! And just loads of great choices to choose from as well!! That's Greg in the picture! Just a friendly and fun guy who is dedicated to ensuring that you get some amazingly good meats and a great time at his shop!! Come on down!!!

This is my favorite meat shop in the twin cities south metro. Prices are below what I’d pay at grocers closer to me in the twin cities while the quality is far superior. Absolutely love the variations in breakfast sausage links as well as patties.

Best place to get meat! They have the best breakfast sausage there can possible be!!! Also they have the best hotdogs out there!!! Service is always very good! Workers are always polite, friendly and willing to help! Store is always well kept and clean! Also a very good place to get meat processed! Recommend coming here!!!!!

It seems like every meat market has its specialty, that 1 item that keeps people coming back again and again. At Greg's pretty much everything has won an award of some kind. Prices competitive with any supermarket but the quality is exponentially better. Many varieties of sausage, hot dogs, brats, summer sausage and I would recommend each and every one of them. If I had to recommend one item that you shouldn't leave the store without, it would be to national grand champion summer sausage, or maybe the blueberry wild rice, or the apple and cheese brats or the bacon wrapped stuffed chicken breast

Great place! Almost too many choices to efficiently shop there. Great sausages, meats, meals, and sides. Prices are appropriate and quality is possibly the best anywhere in the state. We go back regularly.

Called asking about purchasing organ meat and although Beth answered my question, I felt very dismissed and hurried over the phone. Other butcher and meat shops recommended calling Greg’s, but my business did not feel welcome. Even if my particular request wasn’t possible, I felt like the conversation lacked a level of respect, attention, and compromise to the customer. There are always ways to try and work with someone, where it can benefit your business, too. I do hope their meat is good but I don’t enjoy being cut off mid-call when I was trying to get some information about their processing facility and purchasing in bulk quantities.

My husband’s idea of a good time (obviously, he’s a meat lover). This was a great stop on the way south on 52. The smoked turkey leg ($3.32) was the best deal so far! I’m happy to see a small local business succeed and grateful for the glimpse of meat processing!

Greg's is the finest meat market in the area. They have their championship hot dogs, beef sticks, beef jerky that come in different flavors. Also ground beef, pork, seasoned breakfast sausage or links. Smoked turkeys, smoked farmers sausage. Beautiful beef & pork roasts. And much more. If in the area you really should stop.

Horrible Saturday hours. I get it you are not open on Sundays. But to close so early on Saturday early fall and lots of grills going still. Puts a bad taste in my mouth. How hard is it to stay open at least till your normal closing time on weekdays.

Greg's is awesome. A huge variety of sausages, both traditional and flavored. The champion need jerky is super tasty but not salty. My wife says the smoke salmon is outstanding. Prices are pretty good and the staff was friendly. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to go back.

A meat lover's paradise. So many moderately priced choices, you will be happy you made the drive. A nice variety of ready to pop into the oven dinners, plus frozen and fresh desserts. In my years going to Greg's, I have only had pleasurable experiences with all of the staff. They are all kind, knowledgeable, efficient and extremely busy. Parking is plentiful. Do check the hours they are open. Weekdays are a bit less busy then weekends and make sure you check your freezer space. I think you will want to stock up.

Quality has diminished since they started buying meat from no name and other big meat producers, then repackaging for mark-up. 6-8 oz steak with half being fat unlike how it was a few years ago. Sorry but you've lost this customer, I used to drive over an hour for the high quality, not anymore.

Great service and selection. Huge assortment of different types of sausages, beef sticks, and beef jerky. Prices were a bit high but expected given the great quality of the products backed up by multiple awards. Definitely worth the trip!!

we orderd a whol pig it took a month and half to get it .when we got our pig . it was cut off the skin and bacon .we did not authorize them to remove the skin and bacon. We were lied .that,s how the proses the pigs .and the skin and bacon they throw to the garbage .that place is very deshonest ,iwas told that they do it for 40 years like that. soon i will call attorney general of state of minnesota . make a complaint . because i feel cheated . never ever bought a whole pig with out skin and bacon, that place is taking advantage of people aquaring skin and bacon at someone else expense , we paid 260 dollars for the whole pig without skin and bacon ,i have a feeling that we pay for missing bacon . shame on you greg bolony

Awesome butcher shop. Helpful staff. I special ordered a cut of beef not typically found in supermarkets. I was very impressed with the service. The meat was great tasting and high quality. Will make this my primary source for beef. The hot dogs are very tasty as well. Worth the drive from apple valley for sure

Love Greg’s Meats! Variety and prices are awesome! I was a Duffs Meats customer until I was treated very rudely so off to Greg’s every time now. I’m from out of town and this was my first visit. But I needed to take a special trip in to see what the hype was all about. Greg’s did not disappoint! The vibes were spectacular - very spot-on for a small town meat place. I purchased the ‘Minnesota Beef Sticks’. They have clean ingredients and include cranberries, wild rice, sunflower seeds, and honey — YUM. Will definitely return if in the area.
