My family and I have relied on this clinic and its providers for years. Our personal experience has been absolutely superior! The care, empathy, and compassion our pets have received has truly been life changing.One of our dogs (an Irish Setter) had many complex issues. The time, money, and energy we invested into his health had become overwhelming. By the time we discovered this practice, we had already been to at least 6 other clinics and 2 specialists. The day I walked into Eagan, he was just a very sickly little old man. But I am FOREVER GRATEFUL for the love and comfort they were able to provide him, as well as the extension on his precious life! I would also like to specifically mention Dr. Schowalter for the many times we turned to her for guidance, and her compassion when we needed it most.Excellent, knowledgeable doctors, combined with a front office staff who is always responsive and quick to return emails/calls. THE VERY BEST place to take your furry family!!!

We have been bringing our pitty, Odin to Eagan pet clinic since he was 10 weeks old [he's 2 and a half now]. They've always taken great care of Odin and the vets have been very friendly and knowledgeable. Our boy actually gets excited to come into the vet. PS, He LOVES the tennis balls on the windows 😆

Unfortunately, I can't please this clinic with a positive review! Two weeks ago my dog was supposed to have surgery to remove a tumor on his paw. We were given an appointment at 9am and told not to feed in the evening, to come half an hour in advance and notify us of your arrival. We did everything and I showed the card with the time to the front desk. But we were told that there was no room for us, now the doctor was busy and would not be able to see us, perhaps some other day. I canceled work in the morning for this appointment and I had an appointment with an eye doctor< that also had to be cancelled. It was with difficulty that we were accepted that day: we were given a time for 3pm.Having spent the whole day on this, I picked up my Snap when the clinic had already closed. This was the first time, I was very angry, but for the first time I forgave. We were told to come for a wound inspection in two week and until then wear a special collar without removing. We were given a card with the appointed date and time, it was today at 10: 30 am. I again had change my entire schedule for work and the eye doctor and finally sighed, today this collar will be removed from us and Snap will be able to continue to live in peace. No matter how it is! When we came to the clinic< they told us that there was no room for us(again!) today ,maybe in a week. I can't express in words how upset and disappointed I was in this clinic! So I decided to write my review about what happened.

We have been coming to EPC for about 7 years and have always had a fantastic experience. Over the years, and with two dogs with varying issues, we have seen all of the doctors and they are all wonderful. They’re very good listeners and provide excellent care, tailored to each pet and our lifestyle. The prices always seem fair and we have never had to wait long for a more urgent visit. Lastly but most importantly, the front desk staff and back- of-the-house techs are friendly, caring, and fantastic.

My family has been taking our pets to Eagan Pet Clinic since I was a kid. I appreciate them so much and trust them to take care of my fur babies. They always make sure to help to the best of their ability when my pets need help or even just an annual check up. Highly recommend!

They do not work with low income families that have sick pets. Seems like making money matters more, than caring for animals in need. I will not bring my pet back here....And no. They did not give me any "large sum" of help from their "fund." It was under $100, and I have been there MULTIPLE times. Also, the fact that they just responded with PERSONAL details like that is definitely a confidentiality breech. Not cool... Hippa violation maybe? Anyways. I stand by my review. And I do NOT recommend this clinic.

I have found the clinic to be extremely responsive and professional. My dog needed a difficult surgery and staff have done a great job with communication, scheduling and showing concern for my dog and her quality of care. I would recommend them!

The team is always willing to go the extra mile to determine the best treatment options for my animals. Dr. Musser and Dr. Schowalter have made themselves available to discuss my pets needs with other veterinarians to ensure my dogs are getting the best care and follow ups. The reception staff are calm and helpful when I call in - most often my calls are of a “last min or urgent” matter; going the extra mile to help work us in during an already busy day at the clinic. Thank you for all the hard work you do day in and day out to keep pets happy and healthy. Recommend Eagan Pet Clinic to those looking for vet care services.

I have two pets that go to Eagan vet clinic, they are responsive are easy to schedule, there's an app where I can track appointments with and they also email and send reminders. The doctors are always nice and present and have always listened to concerns and made it easy for me to take care of my pets.

After 13 wonderful years our family decided that the suffering our cat was experiencing wasnt fair to him. We decided to foster Simba in the fall of 2009 and he never left. I have never felt so much compassion and humanity in my life. The kindness shown by every staff member and Dr. Musser eased our pain immeasurably as our beloved Simba moved on to be with my dad, who had developed a wonderful bond with Simba as he was going through a 7 year battle with colon cancer. when I was young my dad always told me that you could tell a lot about a person by the way they treated animals. I write this with not only tears in my eyes but immeasurable gratitude in my heart that our rescue angel was surrounded by love and compassion at the end of his very purpose filled life. My dog has some anxiety and our last vet made us feel terrible and scolded her. Eagan Pet Clinic was SO good to her. Literally we have never had a good experience at a vet before but this place is great and truly cares about pets! The staff were so welcoming and did an amazing job with an anxious dog. The Eagan Pet Clinic is very professional and seems to really care about your pets. Their service is very good with reasonable pricing. We recently took our dog to the clinic who was experiencing what we thought was leg pain, but the veterinarian was able to diagnose her pain correctly as neck pain. We then received medication to alleviate said pain and our dog is much happier.

This place is so unprofessional we put our cat down we paid for a paw print and a clay paw thing whatever they call back hours after we let our cat go and say “can u bring him back” we forgot to to the paw prints OUT OF SO MANY STAFF NO ONE THOUGHT TO CHECK ???? I’m glad we got to take his body we couldn’t do his paw prints because we had already buried him but imagine if someone didn’t keep their pet then what would they have done ?? You forget that but not the payment ?? Ah ok 👍🏻

Our Golden Retriever has had some unique health complications and has needed some very complex surgeries over the last couple years. We are constantly blown away at the care he receives at EPC! Dr. Schowalter and Dr. Peterson are amazing and have gone above and beyond with the care they give- as well as all the vet technicians. We are so appreciative of everything they have done for both our pups. We will never bring our dogs anywhere else!

Best pet clinic in Eagan. Everyone is caring and attentive. The doctors take the time to listen to all your concerns and answer all your questions. They always follow up in a timely manner and are incredibly compassionate during the rough times. I wouldn't trust my fur babies to anyone else.

I had my first experience with EPC just 2 days ago and am very happy. My pittie baby Henry has not been feeling well and was already seen by his usual vet, and they were not able to determine what was going on with him and advised to an ultrasound, which my regular vet does not do. I called EPC and updated them to the situation and they said to bring him in and the Dr would see him as they are able between scheduled surgeries, for a small urgent visit fee- which was VERY reasonable. I bought him over and he was such a nervous boy- but they were great!! They calmed him and got him in the door. I updated Connie his symptoms and she assured that he would be seen as able- his ultrasound and exam was completed in less than 4 hours- I expected longer as he was a work in appt. When Dr Schowalter called she obtained a extensive history and findings from his work up were reviewed, as well as his outside results from his regular DR. We agreed on some additional work up and that she would call today with results. I got a VM today to call back as his blood work was negative and to please call the clinic with an update on his symptoms. I called back and had another conversation with her. She is concerned about my boy and admits that she is not able to verify exactly what is going on, but some things have been eliminated as the cause. Dr Schowalter apologized for not being able to provide an absolute diagnosis, which as an RN myself, understand that medicine is not always a straight line from symptom to diagnosis and that she has nothing to be sorry for. Dr Schowalter requested that I keep her updated and let me know which partner I should update with temp readings/symptoms while she is out for the holiday weekend and when she is in the clinic next. I did not feel pressured to do any unneeded tests and agree that process of elimination is the best way to go and if his symptoms persist, then likely a specialist referral. I felt like I was listened to and Dr S is genuinely interested in figuring out what is going on with Henry. It is always stressful when your pups are not feeling well or when going to a new DR and am so happy that this team is so caring for my boy and willing to try to get to the bottom of my Henry's mystery. The prices were very reasonable as well. I would recommend Dr Schowalter and EPC to any pup parent. Henry on the right, his brother Stanley on the left- competing for mom's attention as brothers will do ;)

We have been clients of the Eagan Pet Clinic for more than 30 years. They have always provided great care for our dogs. Over the years, they have maintained a staff of professionals that are caring and compassionate.Dr Showalter is our primary vet for our current dog, Stella. Stella suffers from a lot of fear anxiety. Dr Showalter is so great with Stella. She takes her time with us to make Stella feel more comfortable and she always is sure to address our questions or concerns.We would also like to add how impressed we were with the clinic, in how they managed to maintain their high standard of care during the Covid pandemic.

This is probably the best veterinary practice I've ever brought my cat to. Everyone on staff is incredibly kind and understanding. I recently took my cat in for a dental cleaning with them, and I really appreciated the fact that the vet called me herself to update me once his cleaning was finished. I also received a follow-up call from them the next day to check in and make sure my cat didn't have any negative side effects from the anesthesia--something I didn't expect but was really pleased they did. Excellent practice all around!
