My boyfriend and I took our two corgis for a nail trim earlier this week and admittedly, their nails were a bit on the longer side. I didn't catch his name, but the employee there working trimmed both of my boys' nails so beautifully! He was very calm, took his time, and made the dogs feel at ease (not an easy feat with corgis at times). It was such a great experience and pricing was excellent - $10/per dog nail trim! After the nail trim, he gave both boys a delicious bully stick to enjoy for their patience. I was so impressed with his professionalism and welcoming demeanor. He said his family owns this pet store and you feel the love they all put into this business. I will not be going ANYWHERE else for nail trims - that's for sure! Thank you guys so much!

I was disappointed by Pets Best radio comercial I heard recently. The cat owner in the comercial told how her cat killed 3 birds in a day. Her only concern was the cat licking her face. There should be more concern about how destructive house cats are to bird populations.

Awesome character! This gentleman introduced me to his English bulldog, talked about their love of animals it was obvious that he was genuine. They do dog nails $10 call ahead must have a qualified groomer available.

They offer amazing and cheap grooming services. We took our isolated puppy in for the first time and he looks, smells, and probably feels amazing.

Brought our pup in and they helped us get the right size life jacket for her. So much better than trying to buy one through amazon. We also bought two guinea pigs that day from them and they were so so helpful in answering our questions and getting us set up with the right supplies. We will be back! So happy with the service.

Great service, employees know what they're doing and if they don't, they ask the pet suppliers or someone else right away. Also the only store within 100 miles of my area that sells rats and mice, both pets and feeders! I will always go back!

What a cute store! The employee was sweet and accommodating. Even the other customers were super nice and polite! I bought a $10 cat grab bag and it contained a cat collar, a cute toy, and a bag of specialty treats- well over the $10 cost!! Hope all the kitties in there that are up for adoption find some wonderful homes real soon!

We took our Saint Bernard Gus in today for a grooming and haircut. We asked for a short haircut on his long hair. It turned out fantastic. I laughed because he didn't even look the same.He turned out so handsome and even his toe nails turned out terrific.The only downfall to this place is the location. Finding parking on Washington Avenue isn't the greatest.New location with better parking would really increase business I feel.But I give the grooming staff a 10+

Closest place to find some crickets for my Argentine b&w tegu to hunt. Prices are decent for a locally owned place and they have a nice variety of items. I like that they have a lot of decor options for reptiles as well. Fish tanks all looked well maintained (not an easy feat), and all the animals looked healthy and in good condition. I can appreciate their efforts to purchase from local sources instead of mills or wild caught animals. The swinging doors on the inside to keep the store pups from escaping is a smart edition as well. Will be stopping again in the future.

Hate to leave such a nasty review but I also feel the way the animals and creatures treated here is also gruesome. Multiple rats and other rodents kept in small cages walking around in their own feces, not looking happy or healthy but stressed and mis treated. The birds seem always in distress also kept in an room with other animals kept away from everything else. When I see clearly many cages you can sort everyone out without piling a bunch in one cage. The prices are also very outrageous for how poorly and sickly the animals all look. I wouldn’t want to start on the fish area because it also neglected itself and smells really bad. Walking into the store in general has a very bad Oder like I’m walking into a cage of a mouse that hasn’t been taking care of. The beautiful Chamaeleon they also have it’s over 500 dollars and looks really sad and not nourished or active, all around walking into this pet store makes me want to cry because every animal should be treated amazingly and not like it’s just an animal, hope it does better an takes my feedback with confidence and not in a negative way when all around it’s negative.

Best pets is a place I look forward to visiting! I love that they bring their dogs in to work! ❤️ They almost always have crickets, too. Lots of random items you can't really find at a box store. We bring our schnauzer in for grooming, they do an amazing job!

I absolutely love this store! The staff is always extremely friendly and very knowledgeable on all of their products and creatures of all varieties. They also offer pet grooming at extremely affordable rates! By far, these folks are the best place for all of your pet's needs! Thank you for always being there when I need assistance. Saltwater tanks were poorly kept, algae all over the place and $10/head for basic mushroom corals is robbery! Also freshwater was meh, not much variety and the tanks looked horrendous IMHO.

Awesome people with lots of knowledge and experience with quality animals and pet products. One of the only places you can find NutraSource which is top notch locally made dog/cat food. Lots of options for a mom and pop pet shop, they have everything you would need for whatever kind of pet you may have.

We got our family member here! Otis he was on special order for a few weeks! I'm sure I annoyed her calling every week to check! She was always extremely nice and never acted like she was annoyed! He's now 6months old! He's a hairless guinea pig (Skinny pig)! Also the store is always in stock of what we need, the hay and kibble oh and of course toys and treats! They also cut his nails for us! Thank you for having what we need and for being so kind. Excellent customer service!

Local pet shop has everything you need for the fur, feather, water or leather babies! With 2 dogs normally on staff you can get some petting in whenever you need!

This is a nice little shop, while my girlfriend is the big pet lover i came looking for supplies to make wargaming terrain and i found some interesting potentials.They also have 3 dogs that roam the store that are friendly and very happy to see new people.Also the staff is very informative and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for pet supplies...or at least visiting for the doggos.
