My family enjoys coming to this location on a weekly or more often basis. The employees are kind and helpful with product recommendations for our puppy. My puppy loves coming here and interacting with the staff and Nino. I recommend this store for personalized service and product selection. They also have bird, reptile, and small mammal supplies.

We are pretty regular customers here the staff is always friendly and helpful a good assortment of food treats and supplies be sure to bring your dog they love meeting your pet we bring our 2 dogs many times they love interacting with the staff and other customers and other dogs what a great place they make you actually feel appreciated you and your pet I would give 6 stars if I could oh I nearly dint mention pet events like the picture and clip and chip events

They provide help with food choices for dogs and cats. There are tons of natural bones for dogs. Cat toys are plentiful also. The best part is the employees.

I come here at least twice a month for cat food. They always have a good selection of foods and flavors and the shelves are never empty. I've never had a time where a question of mine wasn't able to be answered.

The last few years the customer service at Chuck and Don's has not been what it used to be. Kelsey, Mallory, and Breanna have been a few of the consistent employees at the location in Cottage Grove and seem to be the most friendly and knowledgeable. They have been able to answer any question I have and they actually speak through experience and have valuable input. They also take the time to ask questions to fully understand my pet's needs. Not all of your employees do the same. Without those three employees, I have to say I am not sure Chuck and Don's is the company I would go to for my pet's food or supplies.

I love coming here to stock up on the Kits's (cats) food, treats and toys.The employees are always helpful and seem eager to answer questions.They also have pets for adoption on occasion and I'm a huge fan of that.Another great draw here is their reward program. Some stores have a reward program where it seems like you have to spend a billion dollars and they'll give you ten cents back. Not so at Chuck and Don's. We enjoy and appreciate their program.I hope this helps. Cheers.

Always love these stores. Friendly staff with ample experience in making your pet happy! Always good coupons from them too. If you have a new pup or an old one and you need to find a new food ask them for samples. It helps ease into it and then you aren't stuck with a big bag of food the pupper doesn't like. Plus they have fun adoption events as well. Great store with great folks.

Kelsey was such a nice worker. She helped me find a new dog food for my dog. My dog wasn’t really eating the one I had previously been buying. I’m so happy with my purchase. If it weren’t for Kelsey, I would have panicked and had to go to the vet to figure out why my dog wouldn’t eat. Turns out, I had just been buying the wrong food. Thank you so much kelsey

I really like Chuck and Don's; service is the best at a pet food store, hands down. They have good prices on bulk dog snacks, and lots of variety of food, especialista if you prefer a boutique food for your pet. At the same time the only negative I have about them is that the food prices are a little high and but as competitive for food. You can find better deals shopping around, however you won't get the same service and when you buy here you are supporting a local family chain as opposed to a big box store. So if your priority is shopping local they are the best place in town.

12/28/21 UPDATE - since my review management has changed and the servie has improved immensely. They ahve always had a great product and finally, they have the service to go along with it.This store quite honestly has some of the most pathetic service I have ever experienced. In a world of declining customer service, this door takes the cake. The only possible reason to go here is the selection. I now will drive 30 miles out of the way to get pet food so I no longer have to deal with the inept service.

Service is always wonderful. Much better than the larger pet supply stores that just greet you when you approach the checkout. Prices are a bit high on some toys, but they have great coupons and a generous rebate program.

Employee was extremely helpful and very nice during my visit, she knew exactly how to help me find what I needed an gave me additional great advice on what to do for my pet. I don't ever leave reviews but I felt I needed to this time because I was absolutely blown away by the great customer service I recieved at this chuck & Don's. My visit was on 1/10/2021 around 5pm. Cant remember her name now , but I think it was Breanna.

The absolute best when it comes to dog and cat food. They really know the products they carry and are concerned with every animals well being. A vast selection plus a good return policy makes finding a food for your pet easier. I love working with Chuck and Don's.

Friendly place, they treat my baby girl as good as I do. They always remember her name. As well as the fact that she has to work for her treaters. I'd recommend it just because of the staff. The prices are a bit on the higher side. But because of how well they treat me and my pup I keep going back.

The staff at Chuck & Don's is always friendly and helpful. They have a lot of the better and/or more obscure brands/items that you can't find elsewhere in Cottage Grove. I enjoy the smaller more personal feel here as opposed to the Wal-Mart's of pet supply places Petsmart and Petco. Its always fun to stop in and see what's new.

Employees ask right away if assistance is needed, are willing to call other stores if they don't have your product in stock, and if you purchase large bags of food they will carry it to your car.
