I must not have specified that our dogs room together - we were gone 12 days and one dog was rated leader of the pack the other one not - apparently she was barking - they have been there many times but the billing looked like they were in separate kennels - our chocolate dog is very anxious so if they were boarded apart it would have possibly caused her to bark. I wish we would have been contacted and I could have given pointers or had my son come pick her up. Beautiful facility and they always seemed to like going there- was over 1,000$ so will probably be doing something different for longer trips .

Our dog Biscuit has never been a fan of having to go to a groomer or vet. When we picked her up from a bath and a nail clipping, she was totally happy! Everyone was so nice and professional!

I can't put into words how appreciative I am of the barking birch. Really wonderful people and employees. It's the only place I trust to watch my 2 dogs. They do cost a bit more then other places but I'll happily pay it, just the peace of mind that my dogs are being well cared for in a safe and clean environment is definitely worth it, and unlike other places the dogs aren't locked up in a kennel the whole time, they allow the dogs play time with other dogs outside and inside (if the weather is cold) They also have a trial run before your dog stays, (a day of daycare) I was very impressed by this because it shows how much precaution and care they put into the well being of the dogs. Take also let them potty outside! Which is a big deal because I don't want my dogs to come home thinking they can potty inside. I highly recommend. Thank you so much barking birch.

Top notch pet boarding, daycare, & grooming. Family owned and operated-your dog will get a lot of playtime and snuggles. The staff is great-they really love dogs and your dog will know it. I have been taking our dog here for the past 2 years and he loves it. He comes home tired after just a day of daycare from running around with his dog pals all day. We've also boarded him there for a week at a time several times and used their grooming services. Everything is just what you'd want for your pet. The place is kept very clean with plenty of things for the dogs to play with and on. If you're looking for a professional but family environment for your pet, this is the place.

My dog came home sick, got sick while there and said nothing.. Cost me upwards of $300 at vet to get her well.. Have talked to others that won't take their dogs back to them either..

Wonderful accommodations for dogs. Very clean and roomy for pets to roam. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We have boarded out dogs there many times. No cat boarding.

We love the Barking Birch. Our dog was a rescue so he needed slow and proper introductions. That is actually all the Barking Birch offers, they just do it right. The staff cares and they are kind. They recently launched an app that makes it super easy for me to book online. My dog comes home tired and well socialized. He is a high-energy dog and he normally lays low for the next 24 hours. I highly recommend them.

This place is great. Anytime we take a vacation or go out of town without our dog she stays here. Like everything, prices have gone up pretty significantly, but I know they’ll take care of my dog when we can’t. It’s worth the peace of mind.

The Barking Birch is amazing! Our golden doodle loves it there. She is always super happy to go and comes home exhausted from all of the fun she has had. They keep the facility super clean and they have a really nice setup. I also have her groomed when she is there and they do an awesome job at that as well. The staff is super friendly and you can tell they truly love pets. I am so grateful to have found this place! You will not be disappointed.

As soon as we turn down. The driveway they know and are so excited. When they go to doggy daycare, they come home exhausted. They jump up in bed and don't move the rest of the night. It is fantastic!

Beautiful rural setting. Fantastic owners! They treat every dog as their own and go out of their way to be accommodating. Kennel facility is first class and outdoor play areas are amazing. Our dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE to go there for both daycare and overnight visits.

I have been getting my dog Pepper groomed here for roughly a year and we LOVE it. Pepper is a scared little doggo and usually I feel very uncomfortable leaving her anywhere but not here. All of the staff I have met are wonderful and you can tell they love dogs. I never worry about leaving Pepper there. I will not be going anywhere else anytime soon.

They are super cooperative. I botched the entry requirements - forgot to bring my doggie in for a trial run overnight. They still let him come, and just let the first three hours serve as his trial run. Thank goodness he worked out! Otherwise my travel plans would have nmbeen derailed. I really appreciate the social setting. Instead of having your dog in a separate kennel, they all spend the day hanging out and playing with other dogs their own size. So if you've got a reasonably well socialized doggie, Barking Birch is like a summer camp where they arrive anxious and then when they leave they'll miss their new friends.

We had taken our dog Maddie there before and Really liked it. This time we took both our dogs Maddie Nd Penny there for 8 days. Last time they dint have a veteran's discount when I asked about it, but this time they did. I know our dogs are taken care of Very well and get supervised play for most of the day playing with other dogs.
