We had a water softener and a reverse osmosis system installed by Erkens. Everything about this experience has been top notch. I completed the interest form on their website at 9pm on a weekday and received a call back from Nick at 8:15am the next morning. He came out right away to do a consultation, was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Our competitive quote included install, tax, permit, and haul away. They even agreed to dispose of a second softener we had. The appointment for installation was set up the same week as the consultation and Travis and Ryan showed up on time and were friendly, careful, conscientious and respectful of our home. Travis even ensured that a load of laundry we had going was finished before turning our water off. It was honestly such a pleasure to have them here. After our softener and RO were installed Travis took the time to explain how everything works, where to shut off valves in case of an emergency, made the suggestion to wash some towels in hot water so that the hot water heater could cycle the new soft water in, and so on. Ryan set us up for an annual filter change for the RO system so that we won't have to keep track of it, and we set up a convenient quarterly salt-delivery service. We couldn't be more pleased with this company from beginning to end. Thank you, Erkens!

My wife and i recently purchased a home in the country and had very high Iron, manganese and sulfur in the water. we would get rust stains on the brand-new toilets after 1 day and could hardly stomach the rotten egg smell coming from the water. I called up Erkens and they came out and tested the water and gave me some options. We ended up choosing the ozone filtration system and WOW we might have the best tasting water in the 5-state area! No more rust rings in the toilets and showers, no manganese and even better no more rotten egg smell. Our water is amazing, and it was worth every penny!!!!! Highly recommend to anyone on the fence about installing a system!

Erkens has been great. Our water is VERY rusty and we were having major issues. Nick has been out a couple of occasions getting us all set up. He is always pleasant, on-time, and his work is great. My wife and I purchase a home in the country. We noticed staining from the amount of iron in the water. After calling Erkens Water, Mark made arrangements to test our water before normal business hours so I didn't need to miss work. After the water test was performed Nick came to install our new iron filter and pressure tank for the well. Everything works great and the staff was friendly every time I spoke with them. I will be using Erkens water again for my future needs. Thank You!!

On top of great customer service, they were half the price of their competitor! Erkens water has some of the best customer service in town. All of their staff is very knowledgeable on their products and processes. They always are able to get the answers to my questions in relation to our service with them. They work in a very timely manner, and will go the extra mile to ensure the quality of our water is exceptional. When I go in to pick up salt, they are very helpful in helping me check out and they have a friendly dog there normally that is always so calm and people friendly. I trust Erkens water to provide excellent service always and they haven't let me down. Highly recommend their service for any and all soft water needs :)

I had my softener installed by Mark about a month ago. Install was professionally done. I would highly recommend Erkens. Water is amazing to wash dishes, laundry, and shower. My son says tell Mark to come back and it out it makes my hair too soft so it dont frizz out. LOL

I purchased a home in Sauk Rapids in 2017, and the 2002 water softener stopped turning on. There was an Erken's sticker on the device, so I gave them a call to get help.Nick Erkens came out to my house and looked at this thing, and I believe he did everything possible, however parts were required to proceed. Unfortunately given the vintage of this device parts were not readily available and it was realistically just replacement time.I did my own research and landed on the same conclusion. Nick provided me a fair quote on a replacement and provided me all the information I could possibly need on how to proceed and feel good about my decision.I would recommend this company.

Last week we Had a new system including the water softener and perifier so today I went down to do laundry and smelt something bad looked over at my freezer and opened to my surprise blood and water and fruit juices ran out the door. While installing our new system they unplugged the the freezer and never plug it back in. We lost all our venison front Deer hunting and almost a 1/2 of a beef and my Frozen stuff from the garden Fish I have worked for the last 2 hours throwing away the food cleaning up the mess I will have there system removed our old one put back and have to deal with our house insurance so they can deal with there insurance what a mess they caused
