Never had such bad experience in my life. I am disabled. I wanted to purchase gutters. I had a friend coming to bring his truck to bring it to my houseYour inventory was off you only had 2 of the 9 gutters I needed .You would think someone could have pulled it for me before I paid for it. So my money is tied up $465.00.I have gotten way better serviceat Home depot. And it was $200.00 to deliver it to my house. What a waste of time and money.

UPDATE: I've brought my rating from a 1 star to 4 stars. I've been back to buy misc stuff. It's a handy store that's hard to avoid. Especially owning a home (the amount of paint I've bought here alone)! But no major appliances. Overall, the store is clean, easy to find stuff, and the staff are generally friendly. And the rebates are seriously awesome.

I bought 5 master craft doors from menards and they ship them to Menards with just two plastic bands holding them together. The plastic piece holding the door to the jam just falls out and the jam comes apart. These were 36” oak veneered doors which are very heavy. Not only did I have to put the jams back together because they were broken, when I went to hang them 3 of the 5 doors top hinge was not mortised in. Unbelievable, after fixing the hinges I was still having trouble with 3 of the doors to find out they were wider than the other two. I’ll have to rework the jams to somehow make it work. Don’t buy these doors. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else. I would have brought them back but I was unaware of how terrible they were until I removed them from the packaging and they were at my cabin.

this place is first come first serve but the dock is a very limited as there's only three spots available so if you come the wrong time of day they might tell you to back out of the gate and go park in the parking lot. they do have a security gate to go through but you have to be careful because there are also customers of Menards that will be trying to get around you to go through the customer pickup side of the gate. when you get back to the docks this place is crowded with very little maneuvering room to make a u-turn so that you can back into the dock but an experienced driver shouldn't have any problem with this type of maneuver. just be careful there's a lot of things to hit

I've spent way to much money here to be treated so awful. Customer service absolute garbage. Since when do your "managers" find it ok to be aggressive with the customer? I will never spend another dollar at any Menards again, period. If there was an option for anything lower then a one star review this branch if anything deserves it!

ONLINE ORDERERS BEWARE. When you show up to pick up your product and it ends up damaged with them not having a hood replacement, they will force you to take the item even if you don't want it and go to the front desk (then they mark it as you picked it up) in which they will give you store credit. I'm beyond pissed I didn't want $500+ in credit I'd rather just buy the door somewhere else or just have the money since I NEVER LEFT THE PROPERTY, a complete scam, after arguing a bit they told me they refunded my card (i havent seen any refunds to my card) i got a gift card in the mail with no real paperwork or explanation. They need to fix their policy and allow for rejection of products, if I'm buying something brand new I don't want dents to be all over it that's menards fault not mine so why do I have to pay for it.

Poor customer service from Manager on duty 9/6/2023 at 4:30pm. Called this morning about having a business tax exempt registration with menards. Person on phone said to come in with receipt and ask for a tax return for business. Went in and gave them 12 receipts for tax return. Manager said she doesn’t want to do it because it’ll take hours to data entry. I’m a customer and you’re the manager. You’re supposed to serve your customers. Not sure how she got hired as a manager.

I shop there all the time and tonight I was very disappointed. We were looking for clearance items in the garden section when I stumbled across the sign in the pictures. But when we got to the front counter they would not honer there own sign. So I carted around the last three bags of peat moss around the store for nothing? I would have been happy if they said we can only honor one bag sir but no and I didn't feel like arguing over it but the manager on duty really needs to learn a thing about customer service. I wonder how many people carted around a bag of two only to be swindled because they are not paying attention or just bite the bullet to not have conflict? Well I have always had decent customer service until today the old manager I dealt with Chrissy I think her last name was Anderson worked with me to make the last mess up right but this was years ago. I recently purchased a range stove from Mendars(whirlpool), and I must say that my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. After bringing the stove home, it became apparent that it was not functioning as it should. I immediately reached out to their customer service, hoping for a prompt resolution.To my surprise, I encountered resistance from the store when I requested a replacement for the faulty stove. Despite having purchased protection for the appliance, they were unwilling to acknowledge the issue and provide a replacement. This lack of accountability and willingness to stand behind their products was truly disheartening.As a last resort, I contacted the company directly in hopes of a resolution. While they did send a technician, the outcome was far from satisfactory. The technician's response, claiming that the stove's performance was acceptable, left me baffled and frustrated. I had expected a brand-new appliance to work flawlessly, and this experience has shattered my confidence in both the product and the store.This entire ordeal has been incredibly inconvenient and has resulted in additional costs and time spent dealing with the issue. I had hoped for a seamless shopping experience and a reliable product, but unfortunately, I have been left feeling deceived and let down. I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before making a purchase from [, Mendars my experience indicates a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality I won't to buy anything from Mendars bad quality and bad service.

Menards is Menards.. they say "save big money" but i always walk out with less than when i went in. But i do walk out with the stuff i need to either start a project or finish one. If they gave me 11% of art the counter instead of sending in paperwork to get a voucher to spend more money that would be a savings.. but just like a junkie find a dealer.. you can find me "saving big money at Menards".😂

Since moving in the area 4 years ago I've encountered rude employees at the Cambridge store, seems like every time we go there... I'm thinking we may pay the extra gas money to shop at a Menards where they're friendlier..managers need to talk to their people

I rented a rug shampooer for the first time yesterday the 17th they weren't very knowing about certain details!! They didn't tell me that it had to be perfectly clean when I brought it back!! It wasn't so in order to avoid a fee of $20 ,I took it back to my place and cleaned better. Then I brought it back and because it was about an hour late they charged me for another day!!! Not only that the design of the shampooer makes it hard to almost impossible to clean. So watch out when you rent from them!!!

We bought a stove paid for it in full plus installation and delivery and to haul away the old one. They called today to inform us that when you buy a stove or any appliance it doesn't come with a power cord.?! And if we wanted to order one we could...... why would I buy a stove if the cord is not attached. That's absolutely insane and why would you not inform the person buying an appliance that it doesn't come with one. Poor customer service.

They could treat the employees better. I overheard who I am assuming is some kind of manager refuse to give a water break to an elder employee in the garden center. I believe the temps were in the low 80s with high humidity. I was not at all impressed with that encountet

I had great help looking for a Bluetooth deadbolt with keypad lock for my door. The lady that help me was very knowledgeable and the people were all friendly. I recommend it out of all the Menards I’ve been through. These are the nicest people ever.

DO NOT GO. I had them cut me a door. They cut it wrong!!! I even had my old door to use so I knew the cut was right. I take the door back. I want all of 800.00 back. Nope they said that I have to pay 200.00 for them to put the door back. Only got 600.00 back.

Been to hundreds of hardware stores this one has the worst layout I've ever seen. Nothing will be where you think it should be. Looking for boards they use measurements like 'thick' instead of actual numbers. Spent 20 minutes there for an employee to send me the wrong way, gave up on my list and left, I'm sure any other store will be more useful than this one.

Staff in store very helpful. Bought $400.00 of lumber and when we got to the security gate the guard had to finish eating his chips before he even acknowledged that we were waiting. When he did come out of his little house not a word. Very rude. Almost went back in and got our money back.

LOVE this place. Once I get in those doors it's over. I'm not coming out for hours. With helpful staff and so many new and interesting things to consider purchasing, I literally walk through every inch of the store, some more than once. The lumber yard is AMAZING!

Both David’s in the plumbing section have great customer service, especially the shorter one I was ignored for a few minutes by two other employees as they kept talking to each other when I was right in front of them waiting to ask a question, as soon as he seen me he stopped what he was doing and came to help me. He also made sure after that I got everything I needed. Great guy really helpful and nice, also the last time I came in it was the same thing, he helped me out a lot figuring out all the plumbing parts I needed to hook up a sink.

It seems I forgot to hit post. This was a few months ago.I have shopped at this Menards many times in the past and the sales associates were friendly and helpful. On my most recent trip that wasn't the case. The manager of the paint department was an absolute witch. Rude, surly and not helpful in the least. Because of how I use it I prefer stain that has separated and settled. It was a quiet evening and a nice young man was helping me by opening several cans of stain so I could see if they had separated. I go into stores specifically when it isn't busy to do this. I have made this request many times at different hardware and big box stores over the past 10 years with no problem. On this particular night Dawn. I think that was her name came rumbling over asked what we were doing, talked over us, berated the poor kid who was only trying to help me and was just plain nasty. If she had been the least bit pleasant or reasonable it wouldn't have been a problem, but she was confrontational from the start of our exchange. Needless to say I won't be back.

Excellent products and Associates always ready to help you find and Use what you're looking for!!While shopping today, my wife and I asked Associate David if he could help us find some baseboard vinyl trim and explain the best method to apply and finish for best look. With a Minnesota 😁 he found it for us and explained exactly how to apply and finish the job with some extra tips we definitely needed. Thank you David... You are the BEST!!

Rose was so kind and helpful when choosing blinds for our new home. She cut them to size perfectly and even though there weren’t enough in stock for us, she let us know the process on how to get the correct product promptly when they restock.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! Tried to make a return and these foul managers at this store tried to talk over me while I was complaining about the garbage products they sell and don't back up. I will never spend another dollar at the Cambridge Minnesota store ever again!!!!!!!

Very helpful associate in pet dept. Anna spent alot of time helping me find the right vibration shock collar for my puppy. She also directed ten other customers to the right area in the store when they couldn't find what they were looking for! You don't see this very often! She deserves a big raise....

Many of us have not forgotten how your employees acted during the pandemic. Two of them treated my father, who was medically exempt from wearing a mask, so terribly that we will never go back. I have persuaded multiple people from buying complete barn/shed materials from your store. It probably does nothing to Menards and is petty on my part, but it helps me feel better.
