They are always very welcoming and helpful upon entering the store. Only place I go to get my spare keys made,been coming here for over 30 yrs and never 1 mistake! I truly appreciate that and the employees are always friendly and available when needing help. Ace is DEFINITELY the place😉😁

I needed a potato ricer for a cooking class. We checked 4 stores before I googled. Website said in stock, pick up today. Sent husband to get it. One person said they didn’t know what it was (fair). 2nd person said they don’t carry them. Husband came home and told me. I ordered it for pick up and within 3 minutes I had the email that it was ready for pick up so we had to drive all the way back over there. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Store manager Aaron doesn't know customer service. Online shows 4, show up to buy and there is only the floor model with peeling labels, filthy and been in the elements for God knows how long so we asked for a discount and we're completely ignored. Asked for a manager (Aaron) who never even acknowledged us and just said no. How unprofessional. I emailed as they asked and they have not responded.

Awesome place, selection staff and its clean!They will help you find exactly what you need. They have an amazing selection. The store is bright, clean and well organized.Per square foot has this store has more value than any big box store could offer.Prices are very reasonable too!This will be my goto place for getting things for my new house. Besides having absolutely anything you can possibly need, they also have the most caring and helpful personal I ever encountered in a store. I went there this morning with my little ones. Aaron helped me to find everything I was looking for and helped me to bring everything to my trunk. He was a life saver. Also the ladies at the cash register, super helpful too. You guys made my day!.

So grateful for the customer service I experienced recently. Almost immediately after I entered the store with my two young kids and scooter in tow I was greeted by an employee. Two employees took the scooter from me, found the right bolt thingy and put it in for me. Handed me the envelope I used to pay, $1???? (Can you believe that?) Also the young man at the register entertained my kiddos with a mouse trap trick. I honestly left with my heart so full. That won't happen at a big box store. Shop local.

Very disappointed. We dropped off our chainsaw (which we purchased from them) we got the run around for a week about when it would be fixed the last timeframe we heard was they could get to it later next weekWe ordered the part ourselves and called to say we would pick it up in a couple of days as we were out of town and that we did not want it fixedWe arrived to find out they fixed our chainsaw unauthorized. For 4 times the cost of the part we orderedNow we are unable to pickup ouri chainsaw without paying the exorbitant price

Everyone I worked with refused to listen to me, they wouldn’t return or exchange a $105 purchase because there wasn’t a “manager” there, which makes no sense - who closes the store, counts your money, you mean after a certain time you can’t do returns?I had a defective drill and all I wanted originally was to return the defective item and upgrade to a better one but the staff couldn’t wrap their minds around that, had to call their manager over the phoneUltimately they said they couldn’t help me and asked me to come back another day. I live 45 miles away so I had to make ANOTHER trip in and I asked for my money to be returned.I’ll never shop here again. No one here was helpful.

Had trouble finding metric stainless steel bolts of a specific size for an outdoor project. The project parts came metric. So I stopped at Ace while in Brainerd. Got good service and the stainless M8s.

It's the go to place for hardware. They also have Leaning Tree Greeting cards. Today it was for a shop wet/dry vac filter. Menards - no, Home Depot's web site so screwed up they probably can't locate 10 penny common nails. ACE HARWARE, of course they had it. Might of have been a few bucks more but very knowledgeable employees and so much less b.s.
